Cudgel is my nickname. It has a few meanings.

A wooden sword also called a waster or bavin. THese are wooden swords as used in Western Sword Arts (WSA) also callled Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) or Western Martial Arts (WMA)

ADn yes Europe does have martial arts jsut as old an real as Asia maybe older.
Now Gauss is my SCA (Society for Creative Anachronisms) name. People use that to talk to me at SCA events,not that i go to many. Its the name of my Persona, a alter ego I use for the SCA, if you are familar with LARP its like a character only not, a 12th century Danish Viking.
