Wow! You actually decided to learn more!
Well up until recently, Erik had done the singing (he's wasn't that good) and we've been improvising percussion with everything we have at our disposal. (If you can imagine it, we may have used it.) We have used a small recording unit where we can record up to four tracks at a time. Together, we have written a small stack of songs and if we ever publish them, we plan to publish them all as one composer to avoid confrontation like so many other groups. Most of our earlier recordings obvoiusly showed that we lacked the groundwork of a good singer and drummer. We are open to doing some covers, but very, very few. We are in to staying original. We have obvious influences of The Doors, (Singing style) Nirvana (dirty guitar sound, drony voice), Lou Reed, (wordy lyrics) U2, (Bass playing style) Blind Melon, (Guitar playing style of some of the songs) and The Beatles (Simple, short songs, generally about weird stuff and people) amoung many others. We are open to trying new things and are willing to experiment. However, this excludes rap, pop, or "lounge" jazz among other kinds of muzak. We're already pushing it with viola and bagpipes. Maybe if we're really bored.......We may just try it and see where it goes. Stranger things have heppened before. It might be the greastest thing in the world!
Uh, no comment.
