Band News, As Of Wednesday, August 27th, 2003

Well, the first day of school has come and gone and I am redoing the site a bit. Whit came back from Brazil and decided to quit the SYS shortly after his return for various reasons.  I myself had  similar experiences with a certain Bay-Area-based Juvenile Pipe Band about two years ago which also led me to quit that band. Bad stuff. Anyway while he was there, he brought back this great instrument called a "Viola" which has more in relation to a guitar than the orchestral instrument he normally plays. I had a bad time in Palm Springs after the car broke down, but my family pulled through. We rented a car, and went to the Joshua Tree National Park and even to the Nixon Library and Birthplace. That ruled! We are still singer and drummerless as of this time, so don't be afraid to get in touch if you're interested.

One of the many sights I saw at the Nixon Library and Birthplace.
If you ever find yourself in the L.A. area, I highly suggest visiting the Richard Nixon Library and Birthplace. Worth a visit, supporter or not!
Or, visit online! Click to go now!
