We camped at Fort Moultrie on Sullivans Island April 14-18, 2004.
We performed a period garrison living history daily from 9-4
The funeral began at The Battery in Charleston at 6:30AM even though the parade didn't step off until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 17.
Our camping spot at Moultrie was on the bay side of the fort facing Charleston and Fort Sumter.
Exept for some sore feet and arms from the 4.5 mile parade route, a good time was had by all participants.
