River#15: Chilliwack River. Slesse to Tamihi. (May 19, 03)

May 19, 03. Boaters were Alun, David, Cals, and Jane (Chilliwack river from Slesse to Tamihi). Rock gauge read 4 - low level.

The final rapid on this section was Tamihi rapid. Alun, David, and I went up to the top (road side) to scout the rapid and discussed about lines. Below is a picture of the rapid with some descriptions:

A - A person standing there.

B - There's a nice eddy just behind rock B.

C - The take-out. The bridge is just behind.

Number 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 7 are approximate positions of holes that I recalled from the run (there might be more?). Alun lead the line and I followed closely behind David. We had a good line.
