Similkameen River: Social Trip (June 14, 03)

This is a social trip with the VKC and we had a big group (about 30+ paddlers showed up). Line and I carpooled up together on Friday night.

Directions: From Vancouver, take highway #1 to Hope. At hope, connect to highway #3 to Princeton. Keep driving on #3. Similkameen river will show up on your left hand side slowly. There is a bridge that you will need to cross and similkameen river switches to your right hand side. Only a very short distance (may be 1-2 minutes) after the bridge, you'll need to look for a small and hard to spot dirt road on your right hand side. This leads to the campsite (also the take out). The put in is at Bromley rock which is driving back to where you came from. Driving time is about 4 hours each way.
