city lights install. (Post #1)

Okay guys, you asked for it so here it is:

What you will need:

sockets that will fit 194 bulbs (can be found at your local pep boys, auto zone, etc

drill

drill bits

wire taps

194 bulbs or they make the leds now which are much brighter.

you can get this at pep boys or off of ebay, either one will work.

here are the steps:

1. remove all 5 screws from the headlight.

2. Pull the headlight out and set it aside.

3. Take the bulb out of the high beam housing.

4. take the bulb out of the city light, position it where you would like it to be on the high beam housing and mark it with a marker so you know where you are drilling.

5. Get your drill and start making SMALL holes. Work your way up until the bulb fits in VERY snuggly. I want to make sure to tell you, make SURE it is snug. if not, moisture will get in and that will not be fun.

6. Once drilled, put your city light in.

7. Now we tap into the corner lights.

8. On the passenger side, i tapped red into purple and black into brown

9. on the driver side, i tapped black into brown and red into gray/yellow.

10. reinstall your headlights

11. Turn on your parking lights and take a loook looks nice huh?
