9th June 2004, Wednesday It was raining the whole day! hmmm.. can't really remembered what i did for work. Watched 'World Idol' today.. it sucks! what's with the british accent? the judges? it's like a degraded version. American Idol is still the best! Polish judge: *** this is the symbol of losers from my country to you! *** --- Survivor Countdown: 17 more days --- 10th June 2004, Thursday It feels like friday today! After work, went to meet Min. She was with her school friends at Far East having dinner at Estella. Hang out with them for a while before going separate ways. I felt hungry later so we went back to Estella again, only this time i was eating. I bought a tube top! wahaha.. like since when i wear this kind of stuffs ya? well, i was convinced it looked nice on me and my hands are kinda itchy. keke.. in the end, min went back to the shop to buy the similiar top cos she couldnt take the temptation. heehee.. We made our way down to Music Underground. It was ladies' night, so we decided to check it out. It was cool. we were there slightly before 9pm and there's a live band singing what i thought was a bee gees song. later, the club played those lovey-dovey sentimental songs like Brian Mcknight. we found the place totally chillin' with great music. We got our free housepours of vodka lime and ribena~ hehe.. i only had 2 glasses and it wasn't that much. self-control yea.. we talked lots of crap.. wahaha.. girls talk! stayed there jus for a short while, left around 10 and it's when the music starts to get heavy and thumping.. wont mind going back there again! --- Survivor Countdown: 16 more days --- 11th June 2004, Friday Today's friday and its doesn't feels like it! haha.. strange yea.. been drafting letters for clients at work! as usual, met up with lynn and michelle after work and hang out at raffles place. Michelle brought me to this place to get my contact lenses. I guess the prices are better than others. Acuvue only costs me $10 per pair. well, I dont exactly know how much it is at other places. Oh well.. this friday is not as havoc as last week's! that's why i say.. doesn't feels like friday.. what am i saying? haha.. nvm! --- Survivor Countdown: 15 more days --- 12th June 2004, Saturday Stayed home the whole day. Wilson needs to work on saturdays for his ITP. Well, its alright if its half a day like till 1, but he always have to stay till 4! This is one good example of a company taking advantage of us ITP students! i knew that he's tired so we didnt meet up today. i rather him have a good rest at home. Watched part of celebrity boot camp.. think Bingham should win. those who've watch will know what i'm blabbering here. Jus look at the scorching sun today!! but guess it was too last minute and everyone has plans! actually i wont mind going alone.. anyway it's pretty near, i could just go to min's place! wahaha.. but i ended up watching tv at home instead! hmm.. i must get a tan before school starts! I think i have worms in my stomach cos i cant stop eating today! other than the usual meals, i had a big packet of fried noodles, grapes, bananas, biscuits, cake!! the worst thing is i wasn't in a bad mood nor was i hungry. i just kept on munching! my mum offered me egg tarts from breadtalk jus now.. was tempted to eat.. but nah.. heh heh.. alrighty, i need to do something.. a little surprise for Wilson.. hehe.. so tata! =P --- Survivor Countdown: 15 more days --- 14th June 2004, Monday Yikes! Monday and i'm facing the blues! This week is gonna be cool cos A took leave for the whole week. Heh heh. without her stirring things, there will be peace and quiet! Was surfing net for the whole day, practically lookin at all the friendster accounts. So sian.. zzz.. --- Survivor Countdown: 14 more days --- 15th June 2004, Tuesday Today S took MC today! altogether 3 people are missing from work. heh heh.. so the office was so peaceful and that's great. But the problem is.. it's so boring!! practically nothing to do! sigh, too much work also complain.. nothing to do also complain! wahaha.. think the other staffs are too paiseh to ask us do some work for them cos we aren't under them. Seowshan and I made the guys buy lunch back for us, we were jus too lazy! asking them do take-away was bad enough, but we still insist on eating tomyum from this popular stall where the queue is always very very long! heh heh.. so they had to eat fast and join in the long queue to get our food. So me and Seowshan had our meals in the aircon pantry in comfort. hehe.. after that, we had some time left so we went to far east sqaure for a walk.nothing to buy, but beats stayin in the office! --- Survivor Countdown: 13 more days --- 16th June 2004, Wednesday There's pretty much things to do today. Not really that much, but usually i'll rot in the noon surfin the net, but today was an exception. My associate director (AD) asked me to print some stuffs and tag it with post its. But he doesnt have it so i had to actually make it myself by cutting paper into strips. so in the end, he went somewhere to get the ready made post its for me. He said in chinese 'See, i dote on you' haha.. Later he was grading tianfu's and my log book. but only I was at his desk. he was askin abt my plans after poly. He said i could come back to the office to work part time. i was quite surprised. not sure if its good or bad! anyway my AD was pretty angry today. he slammed down the phone and scolded all the staff minus the ITP students and ordered a meetin in one of the rooms away from us. he was sooooo scary! yikes.. gonna watch world idol now! tata! =) --- Survivor Countdown: 12 more days --- 17th June 2004, Thursday I didnt go for work today, i went for art class. NOT! ok, what i'm tryin to say was that i was practically doing origami at work! heh heh.. all started out that Tianfu and I decided to make a paper box to put paper clips. We dont really know how to make one, so we cut the papers and use staplers, scotch tapes etc. our supervisor saw us and came over to teach us to make a box without cutting, pasting! it was easy. so we spent the rest of the noon makin boxes for fun. Later Siowshan and i surfed the net and learnt to make woven hearts. It was so hard! we printed out the template given, but still.. so hard! but i'm gonna practice cos i'm gonna make some of Wilson! heh heh.. the result is very pretty. I also went down to the bank with my brother's friend, Daphne. We talked too much for strangers, haha.. that's what people think. it was fun talkin to her and i got to hear things about my brother. hehe.. so work was cool today. at the end of work, the 2 guys were rushin last minute work while Siowshan and I jus continue with our origami. heh heh.. ooopsss.. gotta be more serious! =p --- Survivor Countdown: 11 more days --- 18th June 2004, Friday Learnt to make paper cranes today. The office dont have any colored paper, so Siowshan and I used highlighter to color the plain ones. hehe.. had carbonara for lunch today. it was so dry! no cream at all! and it's cooked with an egg! i mean, a little like scramble egg? yikes.. think i better stick to tomato base pasta! Was so sleepy back at work..zzz.. and Siowshan and I were thinkin about getting a Levi's jeans.. but,  so ex.. we were lookin at the type and design of jeans on the webbie. Went home after work today! not really, i stopped by the supermarket. got great news from Joseph today! He got into the 2nd audtions of Singapore Idol! what happened was that he went back to try for the auditions again. during the registration, the people realised that he was supposed to be in for the 2nd auditions, but somehow they made a mistake by tellin him a 'no'. i was pretty pissed to hear that. what kind of rubbish is this? fancy media**** making this kind of boo boo.. what if joesph didnt try his luck again? kinda boring. can't wait to meet Wilson tomorrow! hehehe =p --- Survivor Countdown: 10 more days --- 19th June 2004, Saturday Met Wilson around evening. We had ramen for dinner at Far east. The good thing is the food was not bad. the bad thing was it was kinda of a small portion, it took a VERY long time to be served & Wilson got cheated. His ramen was missin an egg. hahaha.. i almost asked the cashier about the missing egg just for the fun of it, but i decided to bite my tongue. We ended up buying taiwanese snack somewhere and had slurpee. far east seems pretty quiet, weren't much people around. probably its near closing time. walked around and saw this pair of shoes.. hmm.. considerin to buy, but thinkin its too girly for me. Maybe i'll just have to get use to it? Tangs slashed their Levi's jeans to $90. oh man.. tempted.. but that amount of money can get me an Adidas sweater and a Puma shoulder bag that i'm also eyeing. tsk tsk..think i can get Levi's next time round. We saw this limited Adidas sweater too, and it's so cool cos it's of a striking orange color. We went to HMV a while and later to Cathay. That's the best place to go when other places are closed cos the shops are still opened till late. Wilson got me this pretty little ethnic lookin velvet bag/pouch. We hanged out at E-zone and played our fav. photo hunt. we used to play it frequently and now it's the first time that we got into top 10 and we left our initials there. hehe.. i put 'WiLovEliz'.. wahaha.. Wilson played daytona, and he's good. we ran out of places to go as everywhere is almost closed.. it's near 11.. so we went home. Wilson rushed home after sendin me back cos he has to bath and change to meet his friends to watch the euro match between germany and czech. so now.. kinda bored.. slight stomachache.. nah.. heck.. haha.. happy day~ ---Survivor Countdown: 10 more days --- 20th June 2004, Sunday Was supposed to go down to Wilson's workplace to get the digicam from him, but i ended up too lazy. so he brought it with him for nothing.. oopss. sorry dear~ I watched a hindi film on tv. it was soooo romantic. the guy is so dashing.. duhz.. of cos, we're talking about Shah Rukh Khan here! the plot is like this.. the beginning was like a fairytale. Boy meets girl in an accident on the way to another state of India. Boy and girl coincidentally met one another at a friend's marriage. Boy starts to love the girl. Boy send girl back home after their friend's marriage. Boy accidentally lost girl's contact number. Girl love boy too but when they finally met 20 days later, girl was engaged to another man. They can't be together. Girl got to go to Greece for engagement. Boy does not wanna give up and goes with her. Boy and girl fell for each other more during their stay in Athens due to flight delay. Girl finally reach Greece. Engagement day, girl told father she loves boy.. and soooo.. in the end.. Boy and Girl married happily ever after. NOT! things are not so perfect in this reality world i guess! boy has this ego problem. one day his company went bust. Girl went to borrow money from the man she's supposed to be engaged to. Boy angry. Girl sad.. blah x3 cos she cant stand his nonsense due to lots of things which I wont waste my time mentionin here. Girl wants a divorce and flew back to Greece. Boy chase after her at the airport. Boy cried 'nooo... plz dont leave me' blah x3.. Girl cried & say 'but i gotta go' blah x3 and she really did. Boy was sad. went home and found girl back at home.. Tada.. u guys must be thinking i'm stupid cos the plot seems stupid. but you got to see it for yourself. wahaha.. went to aunt's place to supposingly fix her com. but when i switch it on, it was back to normal. heh, i have a magic touch. the com was given to her by my dad. so before that it was my com. listened to those mp3 i downloaded and surfed net for a while.. so went home, slacked and watched tv.. missed Wilson so much.. =( wont be meeting him for a while cos of work. have to think of ways to spend time with him~ --- Survivor Countdown: 10 more days --- 21st June 2004, Monday As usual, I cound't get up today! work was cool today. we got attached to contact centre and learnt how to answer the phone, transfer calls etc. Our trainer was pretty good, basically cos she gives lots of breaks shortly after the previous one. During lunch break, we went to Tian Fu Gong Temple. got lotsa time to waste ya! we explore the area, found a small park with a mini lake.. as we were walking, I spotted a mediacorp van outside a restaurant. So i thought they must be filming something. We tried to peep inside, but a lady kindly told us not to stand there cos i'll be at the 'background'. heh heh.. the thing is time passed pretty fast and there weren't much to do back at the office. Tianfu and I were talking the whole day. Besides that, during the longer breaks, i went to the other side of the office to use the net. I got to make some changes to my blog. heh heh.. Was sooo hungry, got a craving for katong laksa! asked Wilson to eat with me, but he dont wanna.. =/ oh well, so forget it! was feelin kinda pissed today.. now, i got something i wanna buy so much! I feel like getting myself a Havaianas (ah-vai-yah-nas) trekking flip flops! it's so nice~ provided i have enough money! it's gonna cost me around $33! --- Survivor Countdow: 9 more days --- 22nd June 2004, Tuesday Was in a foul mood today. Didnt talk much at work especially in the morning. Even Tianfu knows, but he poor thing.. kana 'shit' from me. During lunch, he even had to help me join the long queue for my tom yum, anyway, he's also having the same thing. But i was just sitting at the seats. Think i was in my own private world, in a daze the whole day. I cant sleep for the past 2 nights. I'm tired, but I just cant get to sleep. Even if i do, i'll keep waking up in the middle of the night. Was pretty tired and i slept in the office after lunch, and I dozed off for almost an hour. I did it discreetly, facing the com. As if they will bother cos there wasn't anything to do. Right now, i'm still feeling grouchy. Dont feel like doing this anymore. Below is the Havaianas i wanna get. ciao. --- Survivor Countdown: 8 more days --- Trekking Style 23rd June 2004, Wednesday So borin at work. I surfed net the whole day! the amount of work i did, added up together, is less than 15 mins out of my 9 hrs work there! And the stupid com is so damm lousy, something is wrong with the connection i think. once in a while i have to restart it so the internet can be used again. Had tomyum again for lunch. Lunch was cool today! its the first time that me, SiowShan, Derrick and Tianfu went for lunch together, without anybody else! we were talkin, gossipping all the way. Derrick was so mad with the people!The way he complained, so unexpected, cos he's a quiet guy to me.. hahaha.. will be answerin phone calls again tomorrow, hope it will get better! my dear Wilson got slight fever last night. He didnt get well today but he still went to work. So i planned to visit him after work, even had my clubbin appointment with min and jourdan cancelled. After work, Wilson's fever got worst and his dad had to pick him up and bring him to the doctor. so in end i didnt get to visit him. Wilson's temperature was 38.7 degrees and the f**king doctor didnt give him a MC. Wilson also didnt ask for one. -_- aiyoh..!! *Dear take care of yourself and get well soon k...* --- Survivor Countdown: 7 more days --- 24th June 2004, Thursday time now: 12.20pm Wooo.. in the office now. FUCK IT! im so grrr.. ok what happen that this morning, i didnt get a single phone call correct. and i dunno why i screwed up all of it! yesterday was still alright. my trainer was pretty strict. i dont blame her, she didnt scold me, only point out my mistakes. No, im not angry with her, jus pissed with myself. I asked caller's qns when im not supposed to. and didnt ask when im supposed to. i got hearin problem, cant hear what the callers are sayin! lucky my trainer heard it, if not im super toast. think my brain is malfunctioning. think my trainer is pretty fed up with me. wahahah.. who cares. i hope i can do better after lunch. brain food should do the trick.. gonna leave for lunch soon. tata~ time now: 10.30pm sigh, i feel so sick whenever i think of going back to work tomorrow to answer calls! met up with Jourdan, Jason and Joseph at somerset. Jo left pretty fast cos he had to go back to work. So the remainin 3 of us ate dinner together at this coffeeshop near cuppage. im allergic to prawns, but i didnt eat any today. But my lips still got swollen and itchy. We thought of goin to Music Underground. But than the guys have to pay $15.
