It is time to open up and let yourself feel your emotion. Whatever the issue in your life at the moment,know that it is simply reflecting what's going on in your emotions and when you deal with this you will move on from this issue.
Right now you are trying to avoid painful feelings.Unfortunately , stuffing painful feelings out of sight won't make them go away.They're bubbling below the surface, desperate to get out.And avoiding them makes it impossible to feel positive feelings in the way that you want to .
We push down our feelings because most of us have been brought up to believe that these are emotion which are unacceptable. Some of us learned that all emotions are unacceptable,others learned that specific emotions such as anger or tears are unacceptable. Still others learned to let their emotions pour out without any sense of what is appropriate. Whichever end of the scale you are on , the challenge is to find a balance where you acknowledge and experience your emotions in a safe, honest and responsible manner.
The good news is there's absolutly nothing wrong with any kind of feeling .It's avoiding feelings that hurts, whatever you feel is OK , no matter that yiu were taught as a child. While some ways of behaving when experiencing feelings can be inappropriate, your feelings themselves can't be . IN fact,yu have no control over what you feel. When someone tells you not to feel sad or angry they're asking the impossible.You can deny the feelings your having but you can't stop them from coming. So stop trying not to feel and celebrate the fact that you do.All feelings need in order to pass is to be acknowledged and accepted. Just saying toyourself, or someone else , " i feel angey or sad or frightened" is a great start . Let yourself have the feelings , accept that  they can be uncomfortable and that you don't know how long they'll last . Cry,punch a pillow , get into bed , walk in the park , do whatever comforts you best while you feel this way.

When you deal with negative feelings you'll also be able to feel your positive feelings more fully, because the  effort involved in not feeling our bad feelings carries over to our good feelings and keeps those away too . When you accept and repect all of your feelings you will be able to be who you truly are . Free yourself and feel all that life has to offer you .
