Hello viewers of NEWS, you probably know who I am but let's get down to business. Here are the headlines:
Did you have a merry Christmas?
On Christmas Day, we awoke to presents under the tree and things in our stockings. Some things we might have gotten are a laptop, iPod speakers, or a robotic dinasour. Well I want to hear what you had gotten for Christmas, and share how you celebrated or whatever.
RIP, President Gerald R. Ford, 1913-2006 and RIP Singer James Brown, 1933-2006
Today here on NEWS, we are saddened (well me) to report the losses of the following people:
Gerald R. Ford: Fmr. President Ford passes away at 6:45 pm 12/26/06, t his California home, with his family beside him. He the only president to assume office upon the resignation of a president (1974, Richard M. Nixon). Funeral plans for him will be announced sometime today (12/27/06), but we know that he will be buried in the courtyard of the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library and Museum, in Grand Rapids Michigan. RIP.
James Brown: The classic singer known for the hits "I Feel Good", and "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag". passed away suddenly in Atlanta, GA, of heart faliure. We know that a public service will be held at his hometown in Augusta, GA, where he is likely to be buried. He died Christmas Day, sometime shortly after midnight. RIP
Plans for the New Year
As 2006 is at its end, people around the world are planning their resolutions. Some might include to quit smoking, lose some weight, or even be less of a Scrooge. Well I have no resolutions but I want to know if you have any. If so, please tell me through the NEWS Guestbook.
