Security can be an illusion. We may feel safe with screenings, barricades, armed guards and the like, but what this actually does is signal to the potential enemy that the "vicitim" is in range. The enemy lurks in secret, watching and waiting for the display to be over, and then spring his trap. The real danger is in our complacence, indifference and denial. Those are our "weakest links"!
