Faith and Denial-- the difference between the 2 is sometimes ambiguous. Some Christian sects and cults ignore sound medical advice and intervention, believing that their God would cure them. They suffer and die needlessly, while their God's name is ridiculed. Isn't it possible that God has already pre-answered our prayers, the technology for the cure and prevention of dreaded diseases? Why then do people continue to put God to the test, claim Divine protection, then deprive themselves of the benefits of modern medicine?

"The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down from here.
