Strike the iron while the it is hot, so that you may take advantage of its properties. Once it cools, it stays in that shape, and will not be bent. Only a skilled and experienced workman knows this. A mighty horse with ill-fitting shoes will be injured, rendered useless and brought down. 

Sadly, many churches are guilty of appointing unskilled, uncaring workmen to tend to their folds. Its no wonder that the folds limp, succumb to infections, or simply migrate to safer pastures. But if the workmen simply continue to ignore the rules of the game, they bring shame upon the whole Family. It is ironic that when you come into the supposed safe haven of church, you risk falling victim to unskilled, uncaring taskmasters.
