Man has a God-given right to enjoy the fruits of his labor. The Thief schemes to usurp this right and pass it off as his own. What does the Laborer do? Natural law dictates that self defense is the expected mode of action. This is the law of the " jungle": may the strongest creature win! But our Judge says, "Vengeance is mine,...I will repay..." . Man must decide to accede either to the law of nature or the law of his faith. The problem is compounded when the Thief is a member of the man's own family. But woe to the Thief, for his fate is sealed.
" And he said to me, "This is the curse that is going out over the whole land; for according to what it says on one side, every thief will be banished, and according to what it says on the other, everyone who swears falsely will be banished.'" - Zechariah 5:3
