The Essex County Hockey club is a ball hockey organization established in 2006 by those in Essex County who adore the game of hockey. We are open to 1980's style challenges from opposing hockey clubs and aim to eventually play a game of pond hockey, although it may never happen. We haunt Co-An Park, St. Mike's and Essex High School in Essex City.

• Two Weeks of Stats are Up - New stats have been posted for the last two (raelly three weeks, since we skipped a week) of play. Today is Sunday, and I swear to God, Dane, we had better be playing today. How can you still be sleeping? Ok ok, I'm calm, I'll call again.



• New Pics - Gambo and His Girlship have come through with new photos. Stay tuned for them to be posted.
  
  
• New Rule - In an excellent showing of what has become an age of partnership between the League and the PA, a new rule was formulated mid-game on saturday between the ECHCPA Rep, Dom 'titmouse' Dadalt and the League. Under the new policy, should the ball hit any of the overhanging basketball nets, the play is called dead and the ball goes to the team that did not cause said contact. • New Stats Up, Dane's Stick Broken - One of the two 'Blue Wonder' sticks that Dane and Gambo had purchased is no more. In a fit of hockey induced rage, Dane smashed his good luck magic wand of a stick against an unfortunate portion of the Holy Names wall. Said Dane, "I dunnnoo, the team wasnt gelling and my stats we not where they shouldve been on the day. Mr. Ghandi wouldnt have been able to resist a good old fasioned stick smash". Post Stick Smash Dane's game picked up, when he notched a winning goal. Other players in the league are relieved the blue paint that rubs off on their sticks shall not be cut in half. • DRAFT COMPLETED - Check out the stats for season two to see the team distribution for Season Two. These teams were drafted by Dane and Andy. In future seasons, perhaps we can have other players draft the teams (ie: perhaps a goalie draft). The Draft order shall be kept secret, as per league policy.
