As for Alpha Sigma...
Established in 1924, the Alpha Sigma chapter is host to some of the most active and high-achieving sorority women on Florida State University's campus. We're known for our diversity, visibility, and motivated attitude, making Delta Zeta a true stand-out at FSU.

Take a look at some of Delta Zeta's involvement:
Lady Spirithunters
The Golden Girls
Dance Marathon Chairpersons
Student Government Senators
Theatre
Orientation Leaders
Batgirls
Golden Key
Greek Ambassadors
Cheerleading
...and many others.

Delta Zeta has also seen much success when it comes to competing on campus:
1st Place: Dance Marathon 2001, 1999
1st Place: Homecoming Skit, 1998
2nd Place: Children's Miracle Network Lip Sync Contest
2nd Place: Kappa Sigma's Margaritaville

Our accomplishments reach off campus, too:

Tallahassee Ballet

"Spring in New York"
NYU Musical Theatre Program

Every year, we contribute to our national philantropy by holding an event known as the Fratman's Classic. The fraternities of FSU are invited to compete in events such as tug-of-war, canoe races, and volleyball at the Seminole Reservation until one fraternity is named champion and gets to take home the coveted Fratman's Classic Oar.  We also crown one fraternity man, who has proven himself to be an ambitious campus and Greek leader, Delta Zeta Fratman of the Year.  Last year's recipient was Lamba Chi Alpha's Kevin Collins, and the previous year's winner was Delmar Johnson, Florida State University Student Body President.

Speaking of fraternities, DZs also know how to have a good time, which is why we have numerous fraternity socials and date functions throughout the year.  From
Crush to Rosen Ball, Delta Zeta and our guests always enjoy themselves.  We also participate in events like Greek Weekend, which involves all of FSU's and UF's Greek community.

And let's not forget our DZ families!  When Florida State holds Parents Weekend, Delta Zeta has our own Parents Weekend, holding special meals and a football block with our visiting families.  We get to share with our loved ones what we do while we're away at school and living the DZ lifestyle, and we get to let them know how much we appreciate them.
The Delta Zeta house, located on West Jefferson Street, boasts many assets:
Largest house on campus, housing 70 sisters
Unique activities room
Study room
Cable, including HBO 1 & 2, in every bedroom
Ethernet
Meals by the fabulous Chef Api

And, of course, this is where we spend most of our time enjoying our Delta Zeta sisterhood.  From casual nights in watching movies together, to celebrating a sister getting lavaliered (recent ones include from Pi Kappa Phi, Phi Delta Theta, and Delta Tau Delta -- congratulations!), to working together on school or Greek projects, sisters can always feel warmly welcomed in our house.
