Friday, I could find no information about what we were supposed to I called several places trying to find information, FEMA, who referred me to the State, PEMA who referred me to the County, the County who referred me to the Township.  I heard a lot of I dont know, I guess so.  I finally got so frustrated, I called Rob Kauffman and Terry Punts offices and was told by both Mr. X is in session, there is nothing we can do to help.  Finally, around 3 pm on Friday I got desperate.  I remembered Catherine Baker Knoll telling me that if I every needed anything I could call her.  You hate to go there but I wasnt getting any information or help anywhere else.

I reached Kristin Daniels at the Lieutenant Governors office, who not only listened to my story and the story of my neighbors, but acted.  She contacted the Governors office, she called PEMA, and an hour and a half later I got a call from Franklin County EMS.  Susan Dutko called me and I will admit that I was rather curt with her.  She turned out to be one of the nicest ladies.  I asked her who finally got her to return my call and she said the Lt.s office.  She felt that Jerry Flasher needed to hear my concerns.  He called me and asked to meet with me.  I asked if I could invite the neighbors, and he said yes.  There were over 30 people in my yard at 7:30 pm to meet with Mr. Flasher.  Jerry now tells me that the worst day of his life was the day he met me.  Many a Labor Relations coordinator will agree.   We explained that we had no notification, no warning, no directions on where to go or what to do, or whom to call.  We agreed to help him but we needed his help too.

After the meeting I truly got a chance to access the damage.  This is what our home looked like Friday night;
