| Otherwise known as Cybergun, 3psa is a french company that bought another string of Mini Mp5s to the world. Their status is that of KWC or any taiwanese company.. Not too great. The pistol, as said in my M92FS review, was bought on impulse purchase while visiting a local market. 20 for the gun.. plus a bunch of paper work, magazine (in which i doubt extra mags exist) and some Bb's. The gun has Hop up, non adjustable, and as ive found, compensates for shoddy workmanship. The hop is way to high, and reduces the guns velocity massivly. however the same piece of rubber that the hop up bucking is, is the seal for the barrel. so it cant be removed. For an idea of power, the 3psa sig cant punch through a corrugated cardboard box at 6 feet. Pretty shyte. However the gun is fairly accurate, range is better than the KWC M92, and it has a few good sides. The first, being the massive clip. For a pistol springer, 24+- rounds is fairly good. The slide pull is fairly hard on the 228, and as for the trigger pull, thats where it slips up once again. Its super short. Unlike most guns where the trigger can be pulled back to the grip. the 3psa sig's trigger stops short. Half way. this annoyed me, no idea why but short trigger pull is annoying. it also feels like it can be easily broken, as the trigger is just a moulding. not even a solid piece of plastic. Metal on this gun is a pipedream. All but the spring and barrel is ABS plastic. If you didnt think it was possible, this pistol creaks. The grip is made with an inner frame, and two outer sections forming the bulk of the grip. unfortunatly, these two plates creak like buggery. To add insult to injury, the mag rattles rather badly. Slide return is slow, as is the fake hammer. The safety can be flicked back on if flicked down with enough force, Due to a strong spring and a not so strong stop. The gun is a gnats pube heavier than the beretta, weighing in at 375g. Once again it houses weights in the body, and 50% of the mag is a chunk of metal bar. Alas all these shitty points, the sig does work relatively well. Despite its pathetic power, wobbly mag and bollocks construction, ive still gained a kill or two with it. Therefore its one for the collection. |
| As a side note, 3Psa are still going strong with their shoddy airsoft models, but if you want a show piece with a few trademarks, or a low powered plinking model that wont break the fine china, 3PSA are the ones. I have yet to have the p228 break on me, even after spacing out the cylinder with washers to try and recover some power. Id expect it to die sometime, as the spring retainer is made of plastic. All in all id give it 5/10. its not great. about average. If you're starting out and want to get a measly idea of whats in store, Buy a cheap springer. - Dan |
