First skirmish. Yes indeed.. First time around of getting shot at by people you don't know.. And man..wasnt it great.
We arrive there at..around..9. Theres already a shit load of people there..so we go load up and wait for 10am, the first game to start. While buying ammo and paying admission fees, there was already callouts about the carpark being packed. Ambient temperature was reported around 28 degrees C. Great weather for airsofting. Apparently around 100 people turned up that day..insane turn out.. many fraggings.

10AM.. The games start.. Walking into battle not knowing what the hell to expect, and as i imagined, caught off guard when speedball started trying to attach that damned blue ribbon somewhere. Chris and I found quick cover from doom behind some nearby trees. Unfortunatly my tree was only about 5 inches wide. but alas..i didnt get hit till i moved to the next tree. Hit in the hand. Fuckage. Chris also got hit during a move, so we were both out of the speedball game rather quickly on. The next game was basically the same..but the sides were reversed. This time, Chris and I decided to take cover further back into some more..dense woodland. This worked..as I legged it off somewhere..chris stayed back..and..evidentally got shot soon after. I managed to last the whole game..hurrah. Proof that i can camp well. After this game..was...a break..i think. I forget. Either way the games went on until 4.

After..said break was a "blues attack reds village game" which ended up to be pretty good. I also managed to last fairly long..but got shot near the end. Chris managed to stay alive through the whole game. Blues won this game as well..i think. Either way the highlight of this game was the insane guy that ran straight up to the tower and attempted to throw a grenade in. but it didnt go in..and blew up about a foot away from him.

Im pretty sure around this point was the Blues Defense game of the radioshack. Chris and I can be seen cowering behind a small fence like object in front of the radio shack in picture 22 on the Element Concepts site. This game proved to be interesting, as someone threw a smoke at us for not much reason, and the Blues ended up getting bored, thus leading to them shooting each other till the reds finally showed up.They got shot up quite well..and im pretty sure i got a kill by some wee bastard trying to shoot me from behind a tree. Chris also claimed a kill, and in true spray and pray fashion, unleashed a full hicap magazine into the area covered by the smoke grenade. Just to be safe. The 3 of us behind that fence laid down some pretty hefty suppressive fire, as i got through 2 hicaps, 3 standards..and whiped out the ol infinity just as the whistle was blown.

At 12 was a quick lunchtime game..which we just..ran into. Chris and I legged it into a nearby tower which was under some severe fire. about 10 minutes till the end i realise that the game is CTF, and the tower we ran into..had the flag on it. A noisy..and rather adrenaline filled game that was..as our tower was constantly under fire from those damned reds. either way..we held our position and blues came out victorious. Huzzah.
After lunch was a King of the hill game. which ended up to be a rather painful, and noisy hour. Pyros seemed to be in high use..and headshots came rather frequent out of nowhere. Blues managed to rush the hill during a respawn, and to my knowledge, won this game too. I also ended up getting shot in the face so.. that was good. Some guy did shout that they were aiming high. Indeed they were..bastards! King of the hill proved tiring..due to respawn distances, which tended to take its toll on the last 1 hour game.

The last game was the alien game, in which..the blues..just couldnt be assed. Reds got a 15 minute head start over the blues as the whole team just could not be assed. So they just sat at the base point for a while..and blew some stuff up. while the reds took the game singlehandedly. There was some action from the blues..but..not a lot. It took some heavy motivation to actually move from the base. A great day, loads of fun..and we'll be going again on the 22nd if the weather isnt being lame.
