January 22nd ((Brawl, Duskstalker, Perceptor)) (D, U, A) Brawl transmits: ' hey baby'. You transmit '*Sounds surprised.* Brawl! *Then she sounds relieved.* Why did you radio turn off last time?' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' shockwave made me turn it off. said it wasted too much power'. You transmit 'He would! But what about now? Won't you get into trouble for this as well?' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' naa hes not here'. You transmit 'Is anyone else?' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' nope just me'. You transmit 'Where are you?' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' in the repair bay. Can't move, still...'. You transmit 'That's horrible! I can't believe Lunar did that to you....' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' it hurts sometimes, but not as much as i'm gonna make him hurt'. You transmit 'I don't think I can ever, fully forgive him for that...especially since it always seems to take the medics so long to repair you.' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' I think i'm at the bottom of the list since i require so many parts..'. You transmit 'That may be. But you are also very loyal. That should account for something at least.' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' I guess...'. You transmit 'You don't believe so?' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' i'm not as smart as some of the other troops'. You transmit 'That may be, but everyone has an opinion.' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' boss says idiots are to be seen and not heard'. You transmit 'Then I don't agree with your boss in that matter.' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' the boss is always right though'. You transmit 'But don't you get angry or sad sometimes, just the same as any other person on Cybertron?' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' yeah'. You transmit 'Then shouldn't you be allowed to mention those things that make you sad or angry?' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' nope, cause the boss takes care of it all'. You transmit '*Sounds slightly exasperated.* Maybe things will change once Ghost and I finish our talk...that is, if we ever have the /chance/ to finish our talk.' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' me too. I miss ya..'. You transmit 'I miss you too....' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' *siighs sadly*'. You transmit 'Have you any news on Megatron, or would that be classified?' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' I don't know nothing about it. no one comes in and talks to me..'. You transmit 'I would if I could, Brawl, but your authorities wouldn't allow it. Perhaps if I could have special permission....' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' hrm... maybe they will'. You transmit 'But I wouldn't know who to contact?' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' maybe ghost or the boss?'. You transmit 'It seems as though Ghost is busy at the moment.' to Brawl. Brawl transmits: ' or any other con in charge of things?'. You transmit 'Who else is in charge?' to Brawl. Mecha-Feline is being petting by the crouched Perceptor. "Hello Oracle." she purrs. Perceptor says, "Really? How can you tell a clone from the real thing? I'd think it would be rather dangerous..." Brawl transmits: ' uhh I don't knwo whose on duty right now'. Mecha-Feline replies to Perceptor. "Before she died, Mother gave me the knowledge of all known living Transformers smells.. if its truely Megatron.. I'll know it by smell from that knowledge. Oracle nods to both Percpetor and Duskstalker. She takes a moment to scritch Dusky's ears. "Good day to both of you." She frowns. "I heard of the attack on Iacon, and I couldn't get to the area until now." Perceptor says, "But how will that work? I can't see him letting you walk up to him and sniff his armor plating, as it were..." You transmit 'Then we will have to wait until later I suppose.' to Brawl. Perceptor nods, "Indeed, Oracle. It was a brutal attack. Many of us surrvived it by taking shelter in the underground command post. We're sending out salvage teams once the safety of the rubble is verefied." Mecha-Feline purrs at the additional attention. "ATtack?" she asks. Then to Percy. "I just need to go where he was last... there was a fight between he and Ghost recently... if I can find where that was.. then I can sniff the remains of that scuffle." You say, "It is things like this that make studying history more terrifying..." Perceptor nods, "Indeed, Oracle. We can't pretend we're fighting an isolated war any longer. It's come to us full-force." Perceptor says, "And Duskstalker, that is a good idea, but I do believe that the fight you describe took place on potentially hostile ground...perhaps it would be best tio simply wait until the situation has become less volatile before placing yourself in danger?" Oracle frowns. "I almost wonder if this 'Megatron' had not returned, if the results would have been the same." Perceptor says, "Most likely, no. Megatron is an inspiring and charismatic command figure and icon to his troops. Only he would have the power, both physical and social, to lead such a brazen attack on Iacon, and not suffer any consequences." Mecha-Feline says, "I am not worried about hostile ground." Oracle cocks her head to one side. "Then you believe that he is the real Megatron?" Perceptor considers, "I cannot say either way at this point. From what I saw of the battele between Ghost and himself, he certainly fought and carried himself like the Megatron I remember. Still, the circumstances in which he arrived are questionable. I an unable to formulate a hypothesis until I have gathered more information for either side." Mecha-Feline says, "I agree. His arrival with none of his troops is highly suspicious." You say, "If only I had more records, more information on his past, I could perhaps spot out some small discrepancy...something not quite right...." Perceptor says, "Yes, but what chance to we have of approaching him to see for ourselves? I would think he's with heavy guard and security groups at this time, which makes the chances of a safe and feasible attempt on our parts to observe him close to nill." Oracle nods. "But others will be observing him most likely. Although I tend to disregard most gossip, I believe it would be wise to keep our audial receptors functioning in this matter." Mecha-Feline notes. "I know of a computer you could access.. but is it well hidden and maybe a bit too hard to reach for a big being..." she sizes Oracloe up... Mecha-Feline looks to Perceptor. "I could observe him." Perceptor turns to Duskstalker, "How, exactly?" You say, "Although I feel no malice against the Decepticons in general, I have little doubt that Megatron will be more of a threat to Cybertron as a whole than Ghost was." Mecha-Feline says, "I am small and black. I know the planet.. I know where to hide.. I can use my radar stealth to hide myself even further." You say, "Even then it would be a tremendous risk on your part." Mecha-Feline says, "So? I risked myself finding Lunar." Oracle remains silent on that account. Perceptor nods, "Indeed. Ghost is more of a...rational commander. I cannot say the same for Megatron. And, that could work, Duskstalker, but where would you hide once you entered Decepticon territorry? I'd imagine that with Megatron's return, security, partrols, and so forth would be higher than the usual maximum. As Oracle says, it's an unecessary risk on your part." Mecha-Feline says, "AS I said. I know the land and I know where to hide. They won't be looking for a cat anyways. They'd be looking for Bots." Perceptor sighs, "Well then, I must confess...you're a braver individual than I, Dusksalker." You say, "And I am certain that some members of the Decepticons share our dismay at the return of Megatron...." Perceptor cocks his head, "Really, Oracle? Who would you think, among their ranks?" Mecha-Feline nods. *Duskstalker leaves* You say, "I am not certain...I haven't spoken to many of them. But I know that many of them have their own opinions...even though they follow orders without question. Not all of them are irrational." Perceptor inclines his head, "Agreed. Perhaps I spoke hastily. Would you imagine 'differing opinions' leading to some kind of revolt or insurrection at some point, however?" You say, "I don't know...loyalty is pretty much pounded into most of them. The ones with quicker minds would most likely have a subtle revolt instead of one with violence." Perceptor nods, "Do you see individuals like Shockwave, for example, simply slipping back into old roles, or would some be reluctant to give up new power they'd inherited since the Ark group dissapeared?" You say, "I can see that as well. But in this case, we must tread carefully...a mistake could be fatal." Perceptor nods, "Though, for some reason, I cannot see the current situation as permanent. The fact that other old faces have not returned as well bothers me. Where is Starscream, for example? Megatron might be brutal to his enemies, but he's hardly the type to abandon troops. I would think that if he came back, he'd bring troops with him, or at least have some explanation for where they were. The fact that he does not have either, as far as I know, is odd, to say the least." You say, "I agree, unless he has grown more cunning and this is some sort of plan...I am not fond of deception, but we may have to use it in this case..." Perceptor says, "Well...how so? What methods did you have in mind?" Oracle shakes her head. "I don't know yet...but I'm just saying it might have to be an option. We don't need any more cities destroyed..." Perceptor says, "Well...how so? What methods did you have in mind?" Oracle shakes her head. "I don't know yet...but I'm just saying it might have to be an option. We don't need any more cities destroyed..." You say, "Agreed. History shows the capacity for unkindness and cruelty amongst our people." Perceptor nods, "Hmm...it appears I've been summoned by Uproar. But, it was good talking with you, Oracle. May the rest of the day find you in good spirits." Oracle nods her head. "Send my regards to Uproar...and if you find any of my ideas of interest, convey them to him." Perceptor nods, "I will, and I will indeed pass on your thoughts to him. I appreciate your help in this matter." Perceptor nods in farewell, and turns to leave... Oracle waves a farewell to Perceptor. She pulls out a datapad and starts taking notes, heading towards the wreckage of what used to be Iacon.
