Patrol comes walking into the area.
Oracle is sitting by the fountain, swirling the water with her finger.
Patrol chuckles and calls out, "Hay no swimming!"
Oracle smiles back. "I didn't think it was illegal for my finger to swim."
Patrol walks the rest of the way over to Oracle, "hi there. How ya feeling? you didn't look to well last night?"
Oracle shrugs, "I wasn't...I had a lot on my mind."
Patrol ohhhs, "Any thing ya wanna talk about?"
You say, "Perhaps. How much do you know about Brawl and I?"
Patrol shrugs, "not a lot. why?"
You say, "Well tell me what you /do/ know so I can at least relate my troubles coherantly."
Patrol shrugs, "ummm that he is dating you instead of a petro rabbit. thats about it."
Oracle sighs. "Then you didn't hear that Brawl has been forbiden to see me, both by Onslaught and Ghost herself?"
Patrol shakes his head, "nope. Ghost is forbiding it? A nice femme like her? Hmmm whod of thunk it..."
You say, "Apparently she doesn't approve of cross-factional relationships."
Patrol looks down at his feet, "oh...I didn't know that..."
You say, "And I didn't like it."
Patrol looks up at Oracle, "oh oh what did ya do this time?"
You say, "I sent Onslaught a letter concerning the matter."
Patrol hmmms, "and??"
You say, "A meeting was set up between Ghost and I. That was when she gave me three choises."
Patrol hmms, "Wow three? cool I was given only one when I had a meeting with her..."
You say, "Why did you have to meet with her?"
Patrol looks down at his feet again, "Ohh I um tried to...sorta...kill.. Shadowfire...a couple of times...."
You say, "I see. What choice did you have?"
Patrol shrugs, "Die."
You say, "That seems to be a standard option."
Patrol hmms, "Did she threaten you?"
Oracle nods her head. "I could either forget about her troops, or die." Anyone with any math skills will notice she only revealed two of the options.
Patrol hmms, "Die huh? So she actuly threated you?"
You say, "Yes, quite obviously."
Patrol hmmmms, "Wait'll I get ahold of her..."
You say, "She believes she had a justifiable reason for the second option."
Patrol frowns, "Yhea well no one threatens my citizens...no one! I dont care if Optimus prime comess back he does I'd kick his aft too!"
Oracle shakes her head. "I think that choice was given to persuade me to choose one of the other two options."
Patrol hmms, "oh yhea umm what was the thrid option?"
You say, "To join the Decepticons."
Patrol contiues on, "oh join the decpticons thats a perf....WHAT! ARE YOU NUTS!! "
Oracle smiles, as though she was expceting this much. "Perhaps I am, but I feel perfectly within my senses."
Patrol contiues yelling, "DON'T TELL ME YOUR ACTULY CONSIDERING THAT PREPSOTURUS IDEA!! THE CONS WOULD BREAK YOU!"
Oracle makes a straight face. "Calm down Patrol."
Patrol hugs Oracle, "NO they cant have you. I am not going to let them finish what that mad mech started."
You say, "This has nothing to do with Lunar."
Patrol keeps holding on, "I dont care who it is. You join them they will warp you into one of them."
Oracle frowns slightly. "Do you think I'm so weak in mind that I can't persevere?"
Patrol holds her tighter, "No of course not. I dont think Primus himself could survive that. And if you could it would harden your core. Your going to see things that you dont imagine would ever happen....but the factis that there is evil in this world and there going to show you them from a front row seat."
Oracle looks straight into Patrol's optics. "But I won't be detered from my convictions...and I'm not ready to die either. Not all of the Decepticons are bad, you above all should know that. I've seen you talk with Triage and many others, and you can't honestly tell me they are evil."
Patrol hmmms, "thats true. But small interaction is one thing just because Iflirt with a con means i am going to become one."
You say, "My association with Brawl is hardly a flirtation."
Patrol nods, "I didn't say it was. But is it worth joing the cons for?"
You say, "I believe so."
Patrol blinks, and lets her go, "oh....ok....well if you ever need me I will come running...er driving..and youve seen me drive.
Oracle nods her head. "I am certain I will be fine. I don't believe I am so easily controled."
Patrol hmms, "Well You know you can reach me no matter where I am. OK?"
Oracle nods again.
Patrol hmmms, "thats good. Ya know I thought ghost was a difrent person...."
You say, "How so? What did you expect?"
Patrol shrugs, "I dont know she seemed nice enough last night."
You say, "As a person, I'm sure she is, but she is also the Commander of the Decepticon empire. She has to have her priorities straight. She saw me as a problem, and made a move to fix it."
Patrol hmmms, "I dont really see ya as causing that much problems well unless you got brawl in a lot of trouble."
You say, "He disobeyed orders to come and see me. Perhaps it is the romantic in him."
Patrol hmmms and tries to imagine brawl being romantic, "If you say so....oh bad mental picture"
You say, "And every time he came to see me, he was punished until ordered directly not to see me. It was then that I sent the letter to Onslaught."
Patrol ummm, "well ummm ya."
You say, "Now I have only to hear back from Ghost on the matter...she might decide that she doesn't want me in her faction."
Patrol hmms, "well what then?"
You say, "I will worry about that then."
Patrol hmmms, "well I sappose we could offer brawl a spot in the militia"
You say, "I doubt Onslaught would allow that. Besides, Brawl is /very/ loyal to his brother and the empire in general. He would never leave them, and even if he wanted to, his faction would hunt him down for desertion."
Patrol hmms, "Yes I remer the time shockwave blew up the blaster when we hid a deserter."
You say, "Who was the deserter?"
Patrol shakes his head, "i know not. It was before I was part of the milita I only saw the taped footage of it."
You say, "I see. Do you know if they succeeded in retrieving, or destroying, the deserter?"
Patrol nods, "oh she was killed all right."
You say, "Then you see my point."
Patrol nods, "Yhea I see why."
You say, "That is why I must make that choice."
Patrol hmmms, "well maybe if I joined with you?"
Oracle shakes her head. "I doubt that would work, you have even more trouble with authority than I do from what I've seen. Besides, you could never be happy as a Decepticon."
Patrol hmmms, "thats true but I am getting along alot better with the boss now.
You say, "I'm glad you can get along with Phalanx, because I don't."
