December 14th ((Ghost, Perceptor, Conduct, Eon)) (D, A, D, A) Ghost is standing against the wall of the tunnel, looking at a section of collapsed wreckage, a sad, faint frown on her face. Oracle notices the little bits of lavender light that might possibly be a pair of optics. "Hello?" Ghost pauses in her contemplation, then turns her head to focus those lavender spots of light upon the other femme. A throaty voice echos slightly, "Why.. Hello." Oracle narrows her optics slightly, as though it would help her see the person better. "Who's there?" Ghost chuckles softly, moving alongside the wall, "Who's there?" You say, "I'm looking for Onslaught, and you definately don't sound like him." Ghost smiles, stepping away from the wall, move into what faint light there is in this sector, "I'm Ghost.. You're Oracle, yes? So pleased you could make it to this meeting." Oracle smiles back, though her optics seem a little uncertain. "Could Onslaught not make it?" Ghost shrugs, "He was here, then he had to report to another for a mission I have planned. I'm here in his stead." Oracle smiles dryly. "I suppose I should feel flattered that someone of your rank would come to meet a nobody like myself." Ghost chuckles softly, "Not at all." Oracle quirks an optic ridge. "I'm certain you have better things to do than talk to me. I'm not really very signifigant." Ghost smiles, "Seeing as you have some influence upon one if not two of my troops.. ANd I consider the well-being of everyone that serves the Empire under me a personal obliglation, then you have a great signifigance.. Care to walk with me for a talk?" Oracle nods. "Certainly." She pauses. "And which two members are you refering to. I can guess the one, but...." Ghost smiles faintly, "If you dont know, then that means I may have been wrong.." You say, "Lunar, perhaps, is the only one I could thing of, but I think his brother may have more influence on him than I do." Ghost turns and begins walking into a more derilict section of the tunnels, "Mer Oracle.. I have thought over how to talk to you about this for cycles.. Sleep, restful sleep has evaded me. How can I rest, when the ghosts of the past echo in my mind, reminding me of my duty to those that serve, as well as my own duty to myself.. How am I going to explain to you that your.. interest in my troops will never come to fruition?" Oracle makes a very straight, serious face. "I'm sorry if my 'interest in your troops' has troubled your sleep. But your not the only one troubled...it works both ways." Ghost turns her head to peer at Oracle, "Yes, I know it does.." You say, "And I am not doing this to cause any trouble within your ranks. I will admitt that I am unused to taking such things as faction into consideration when I deal with others. I am pretty much free, and I often forget that others do not share this freedom. I go where I want, and associate with whom I want. That's the way it has always been." Ghost heaves a soft sigh, "For the most of us, we don't have that freedom. And it is something all should keep in mind when entering into areas where the bound go to relax." Oracle nods her head. "I realize this /now/. But it wasn't something I saw before, and now I can't take back how I feel. The past is there to learn from, but it cannot be changed." Oracle quirks an optic ridge insultedly. "You would belive I would lead any of them to trechery? Besides, we are all citizens of Cybertron...and if the war ever ends, we will be the same faction or whatever. I don't like to stop my vision at the sign of a sigil." Ghost gives pause, then goes back to tracing the charred mark, "You could cause a judgement impairment. Those that serve the Empire chose to do so, and were told beforehand of what was expected. We do not force mechs to take the oaths.. But when they do, we expect and demans that they abide by them. No matter who they are, if they break the basic truths, they will,, be delt with.. " You say, "So is it the association, or the influence, that makes me such an unideal friend to your subjects?" Ghost pauses, then answers flatly, "Both." You say, "It's strange, because before my associations with Brawl and Lunar, I heard nothing about such disapprovals. Your faction members came to the Blaster often and I was able to talk quite civilly to most of them. I was never told that such interactions were frowned upon." Ghost smiles, "Talking is something that is usual.. Forming shallow bonds is another..." You say, "Shallow?" Ghost's optics flicker, "Or.. not so shallow." she scowls. Oracle smiles slightly at the scowl. "As I said, I'm not here to cause trouble, that is never a goal of mine. But I'm not the type to just give up either...until I find some sort of solution. I know I'm not strong physically, and I have no real means of defense, but somehow I won't let that stop me." Ghost turns to peer at the shattered wall of the tunnel, speaking softly, "There are three solutions, my dear Oracle." You say, "Three? How rescourceful." Ghost smiles tersly and turns aroud, "One, You leave them alone and let your wounded spirit heal on your own.. Two, I kill you.. and three.. Three.." She smirks, "You join us." Oracle smiles slightly with only half of her face. "Would you be offened if I told you that was a very typical response?" Ghost shakes her head, "Actually, its the standard response written in the manual." She shrugs and takes a look around, "Do you know where we are?" You say, "Vaguely...why?" Ghost's smile fades into a faint frown, optics dimming, "This is actually a burial site." she states grimly, gesturing to a fragmented part of the tunnel, "A decepticon and his offworld companions were slain here, for the stability and continuation of the Decepticons." Oracle faces Ghost directly, looking up at the taller, stronger femme. "I know there must have been a point to that statement...I doubt you're engaging in idle chit-chat." Ghost turns and peers at oracle, "i was the one that led that fight and caused the death of some of our own.. All because they were breaking the rules, causing strife and creating chaos withen the ranks.. If you think I would hesitate in taking you out, either because it seems passe, or that you have friends in high places, you are wrong. My mate was leading those mechs and he died like all that go against the empire will die, if they do not see reason and choose their paths wisely." You say, "I never indicated that you weren't sincere about destroying me. I was aware of the possible risks of coming down here...Onslaught and I don't get along well." Ghost shrugs, "Well.. Pick your choice.. You arne't leaving here until you do." Oracle paces a few steps. "I have a pretty good idea about your faction. If I remember correctly, you don't really tolerate people who have no use. What use would I be to your faction?" Ghost folds her arms over her chest, "You tell me." Oracle shakes her head. "I belive that would be your call, not mine. I know what I /can/ do, you know what needs to be done. Besides, I would have to be informed of what would be expected of me, you must remember, I've never been a Decepticon before." Ghost refolds her arms, "What do you do.. I cant assign duties to someone whom I have no knowledge of their capabilities. are you an archivist? Are you computer savvy? Are you good with scanners? can you fight?" You say, "I am an historian, but my main skills are Teaching, Technical writing, and reasearch. And no, I cannot fight." Ghost hnns softly, "Can you repair?" Oracle shakes her head. Ghost's optics flicker then she frowns, "You sound like... a civilian.. My suggestion to you is to walk out of here, and forget you ever knew Brawl or Lunar and go on with your life without them... You wouldn't be happy as a Decepticon." Oracle keeps a blank face. "Perhaps not." Ghost peers at Oracle, "well.." Oracle seems to be thinking. You say, "It seems as though you have limited my choice to only two now." Ghost shrugs, "No. I have simply stated that I do not think that you becoming a Decepticon would be a wise choice." You say, "You are most likely right. Yet right now none of the choices are appealing. Each of them has a down side that I must take into consideration." Ghost smiles, leaning back agaisnt the wall. You say, "Does my dillema make you smile?" Ghost continues to smile, "No.. the concept that I would be allowing you a choice in this matter and what my captains would think of me for allowing it makes me smile." You say, "I see. It must seem like a joke to them." Ghost gives a shake of her head, "No. Thye would ponder why I was allowing you a choice, then work to rid themselves of a leader that had grown soft." You say, "Then why give me that choise? You could blast me right here and no one would say a word about it." Ghost continues to smile faintly, "I could, now couldn't I.. You try and think of why I am giving you this choice." You say, "I don't know how your mind works...besides, I wouldn't presume to guess." Ghost shrugs, "Presume.. I think.. I will give you a cycle to think about what we have spoken about.. Then.. I expect a reply.." You say, "Then might I request that you consider what function I would serve if I choose to join?" Ghost nods, "I will give that consideration.." You say, "Then I suppose I will wait for you to demand my answer in a cycle's turn." Ghost just shakes her head, "I won't demand an answer, i will simply wait for a full cycle for a response.. then I will act accordingly." You say, "And if I do not respond?" Ghost arches a brow, stepping away from the wall, "Not answering is an answer in and of itself." You say, "And what answer will you take it for?" Ghost just shrugs, "You'll have to see, now won't you." You say, "I don't think I want to. I doubt it would be kind." Ghost chuckles, "I have yet to be the tyrant my predacessors were.. You presume that I would act as they would.. You presume..wrong, perhaps.. as you said, you don't know me.. You say, "No, I do not, but for now I will go by what I've seen of your faction members, not necessarily the leaders." Ghost nods, "You have one cycle, oracle, think wisely." Ghost fades from view! Oracle nods to herself and looks for the exit. Ghost dissapears. Oracle walks into the Blaster. She doesn't nod or wave or smile as usual, she sits at a booth by herself. Conduct blinks as he comes out of his dase, "huh? Sorry I spaced out there for a second." Perceptor nods hello to Oracle, but keeps his distance, as he sees she doesn't want to be disturbed... Oracle leans her elbows against the table, and puts her face in her hands. Eon shakes his head, "I gotta get a tuneup" Perceptor nods, "Mentally, a good idea, Eon." Conduct blinks, "Tune, my dear target...er...I m,ean friend, i am the Robot you are looking for." he begins to emit something of a cross between a heavy rap and rock jive thing, "Music is my specilty." Perceptor turns to Oracle, mentally debating with himself if he should go over to her and see what the problem is, or leave her to herself at the moment... Eon sighs, "I need to get some leave." Conduct grins evily, and then rubs Eon's head, "Some one is taking this war tooo seriously." he grins and puts his head up near Eons side by side as he rubs the top if it. Eon turns to Glare eye to eye with Conduct, "DON'T Mess with me Conduct!" Conduct grins and lets go, "I think ye' needs to loosen up Eon." Oracle takes a moment to glance at Conduct and Eon. Conduct smirks and mock frowns, "One little shot in the face and we can't be war buddies?" Eon growls softly, "What i do not need is you stressing me out Decepticon." Oracle smiles almost twistedly to herself as though finding something /almost/ humourous. Conduct blinks and stands up making a scene to all others in the bar, "We need a doctor who can help with stress here!" he grins deeply. Oracle puts her face backin her hands and gets absorbed by her own thoughts. Eon starts to charge up his optic lasers out of anger mixed with the stress, "Conduct, Shut the Heck up." Conduct grins, "Excuse me, are we forgetting we are on neutral territory?" Eon narrows his eyes, "Get away from me, right now." Perceptor thinks this has gone far enough. "Alright. Conduct and EOn, I think this is getting out of hand..." Conduct grins and knows he doesn't have to, "I'm just gonna sit down and pretend I never heard your threats and I'll be quite." he sits down as close as he can to Eon and loudly sips his beer. Eon turns away from conduct, and stalks towards the exit. Perceptor says, "Perhaps we couldtake a leave, and see each other another time." He's desprately trying to diffuse the situation, and by the looks of things, failing miserably. Conduct spis his beer and watches as Eon leave, he puts his hand up to his head, "Call me!" Perceptor says, "Eon, if you do insist on leaving...it's been nice talking with you...I'll talk with you later about vacation ideas..." Eon nods as we leaves, "Of course Perceptor." Conduct waves to Eon so he gets noticed. Oracle seems to come out of her ponderous state. She finally gives everyone she recognizes a weary wave. Conduct turns to Perceptor and grins, "Hello." Perceptor nods hello to Conduct, "So...how have you been?" Eon draws his ion blaster as he passes through the door Conduct looks at Perceptor, "Oh you know the usual, annoy this one...then that one." Perceptor nods in farewell to the bar's occupants, "Well, it appears I've got to be going. It's been...interesting. See you all later..." Conduct waves to him, "Some other time." Oracle slumps onto the table and seems to fall asleep.
