December 4th ((Uproar, Bracer, Kimakaze, Euphoria)) (A,U,D,U) Oracle walks into the gardens, a place she genereally doesn't go to, strange enough as it is. Uproar is sitting on one of the benches off to one side, not near the main walkway, he's in the middle of etching (drawing) something into a metal sheet he holds. Oracle spots Uproar and approaches him with a smile. "Good day Uproar." Uproar hrmms and looks up, he seems a bit distracted, even a bit...out of it, flipping the sheet over so what is on it can't be seen, he nods, his visor and mask gone, "Hey." You say, "How are you this day?" Uproar sighs and shrugs, "The same as usual. Trying to relax right now.." he shakes his head, "Hrmm...well how about you?" You say, "Not much, just taking a walk. I find that I do that often lately. I usually walk outside the city, but I deemed that unwise today." Uproar hrmms and quirks a brow nodding, "Hrmm whys that?" You say, "Because I have sent a letter to Onslaught and I don't know what his reaction will be. So I've decided I should stay in Crystal City until I know." Uproar hrmms and looks a bit closer at you, "What type of letter?" thinking, "I mean...why would ya?" You say, "You know of my associations with the Decepticon Brawl?" Uproar hrmms and nods, "Yeah, yer two are close friends?" he thinks, then his optics flicker, "Didn't know you were that close though." Oracle laughs slightly. "Everyone finds it hard to believe. Brawl," she tries to think of a nice way to point out his lack of intelligence, "sees things differently from most, and I try to help him see things a different way. The Decepticon Chain of Command doesn't like this, so they forbid him to see me, but we keep in touch through radio." She pauses. "I heard you two had a fight some time ago." Uproar nods, "It's cause he hits on Revamp and degrades her. I'm sorry, but I don't stand for that...especially when he's talking about Rev." Oracle nods her head. "I understand. Brawl is...quite abbrasive at times. But he is always considerate to me, or at least he tries to be." She smiles. "I'm just glad that you both recovered. I am not so blind to think that everything he does is right." Uproar hrmms and nods, "Yeah, well he says anything again, and I'm giving ya fair warning, so try and 'show' him not to say anything to Rev, and he'll be fine." he moves the etching to the side, next to him on the bench, as he looks around, "So..anways, what else is up?" You say, "Anyhow, Brawl, not really realizing the consequences, continued to sneak out and see me. Each time he got punished. Of course I didn't like this, so I marched up to Tarn once to see what happened to him because his radio went dead. Another time I told him to tell his 'superiors' to speak to me directly on the matter. Both times Triage was the one to speak to me, and I can tell you she wasn't impressed and blamed it all on me. So finally I got tired of Brawl being punished for /my/ 'mistakes', so I wrote a formal letter to Onslaught addressing the matter." Uproar hrmms and quirks a brow again, generally amazed now, "Really...and just what was the response if any?" You say, "Onslaught wishes for me to meet him. I am waiting for him to give me the time and location." Uproar hrmms and nods, "Well. be sure ya have some sort of way out. He's not exactly yer friendly neighbor." Oracle smiles slightly. "I know. But even though I have a weak frame, I don't think my strength of mind is equally weak. Strangely enough, ever since Lunar's attack on my person, I find that fewer things scare me." Uproar hrmms and nods, "Well just keep Brawl away from Revamp. He TOUCHES her again, and well, you won't be seeing him for some time." he sighs as he remembers something. You say, "I don't think he'll be doing much of anything I'm afraid. I'm just worried that they will take out my letter on Brawl. I /hate/ it when they do that. I am not a kidlet, I can take the consequences for my actions, but everytime /I/ speak up, it's /Brawl/ who gets punished. I know you don't like Brawl, and probabaly most of his faction, bu ast a generic person in his place. Do you see how unjust that is?" Oracle sighs. "But I will talk to him about Revamp. There is no reason for him to act that way towards her." Oracle walks towards the gates, but doesn't step past them. Bracer is standing talking to Kimakaze....sorta ;) Kimakaze shrugs. "Of *course* I'm all right. Why shouldn't I be?" Oracle looks worried, as usualy, but it's an impatiently waiting kind of worry. Kimakaze returns to her third semi-mode, a silent uinmoving black POD. Kimakaze is nnow a black pOD, a lump of flowing blackness. She seems to be busy in her own thoughts. Oracle paces around the entrance to the gates, as though waiting for someone...or something. Bracer sighs as Kimakaze seems to fall into rest mode...he turns and notices Oracle "Hello, Oracle" Oracle nods. "Good day Bracer." Bracer says, "And how are you functioning this evening?" You say, "Well enough considering." Bracer says, "Considering?" You say, "Consdering I'm not the most patient of femmes right now." Bracer crosses his arms over his chest and looks closely at Oracle "Wanna tell me about it?" You say, "I sent a letter to Onslaught and I'm waiting for a response." Bracer says, "About Brawl?" Oracle nods her head. "Yes." Bracer nods "Ghost came to see me the other day, regarding that. Oracle quirks an optic ridge. "Oh?" Bracer nods "Tell you what...I'm a little thirsty, wanna join me in the Blaster for a cafegen, you can finish what you were telling me before, and I'll fill you in" You say, "Of course." Bracer nods his head and heads in the gates Bracer gestures to Oracle "Pick a spot" Oracle walks in after Bracer. Oracle sits at a table near the bar counter. Bracer sits across from her and waves to Downtime. The waitress makes her way over and smiles at the two "So what can I get you?" You say, "Enerwine please." Bracer says, "Just a cafegen for me, Downtime...nice and strong, preferably" Downtime nods and heads over to the bar to pass the order to Shotglass. You say, "So where was I in my story?" Bracer says, "Well...you were telling me about how you first started to get feelings for Brawl" Oracle nods. "Right." Thinks for a moment for the best way to pick up her story. Downtime comes over with a tray. She sets down a glass of enerwine infront of Oracle, and a large cup of cafegon, the aroma wafting from it suggesting that it indeed strong. She nods her head and makes her way to pick up the order at another table. Oracle smiles. "Yes, I believe I was telling you about the time that some Autobots played a trick on Brawl with his petrorabbit...correct?" Bracer nods his head and reaches out to take his cup. He looks into it as his faceplates dissipates into subspace and then takes a tentitive sip "You were" he says. You say, "Well, Brawl was made so unhappy by this, that he drank quite heavily, more than usual." Bracer nods his head slowly "The crossbreed thing with Omega, right?" Oracle nods her head. "Brawl was a mess in the Blaster when I found him. A few of the Autobots thought it was good entertainment. I disagreed. I convinced Brawl that it would be best for him to go home. So I took him to the gates of Tarn. I wasn't allowed in to help him to his room, so I asked him to get help from one of his faction members. The help that came was Onslaught." Bracer says, "And let me guess, Onslaught wasn't very generous about the condition Brawl was in?" You say, "Not at all. It seems to me that the Chain of Command has next to no compassion for the feelings of their memebers." Bracer winces slightly and takes a gulp of his drink. "You've mentioned that you don't think anyone has that much compassion for Brawl, though." Oracle nods her head. "The case seems to be more severe against Brawl. They treat him so far beneath them. He's strong and loyal, they should at least respect that in their own memebers." Bracer scratches the side of his face idly "Loyal to be sure...he always appears to try his best, from what I've seen" Oracle smiles. "He tries, but it's hard to try to please someone that keeps you in the dark. They /want/ him to remain ignorant. He can't even read simple words." Oracle sounds quite angry about this. Bracer frowns "Have you tried?" You say, "Tried what?" Bracer says, "Teaching him" Oracle shakes her head. "I won't see him in person again until this matter is resolved. He gets punished for seeing me. If it ever /does/ get resolved, I will try." Bracer frowns deeper..."Ahh...I'm not sure it will." Oracle quirks an optic ridge, but continues with her story. "Onslaught's method of helping Brawl, was to make him go back to the Blaster and drink himself sick. Then he gave him some sort of green liquid that made Brawl throw up all the enerdrinks he had and made it so that he couldn't hold any more down. Brawl was made very sick by this. I disapproved highly of such methods." Bracer swirls the liquid in his cup. "So...he made him drink himself sick, and then gave him even more to make him even sicker? And what were the results supposed to be?" You say, "Apparently they thought it would stop him from drinking. I doubt that kind of punishment will work with Brawl though. But Brawl had made a big mess of the Blaster's floor with his sickness. I helped him clean it up. It seemed as though things would be fine, until someone came in and inquired where his petrorabbit was, not knowing what had happened. Brawl left, and I went after him. I know caring for a stuffed animal is nonsense, but it was real enough to Brawl and I could tell he was pained by it." Bracer says, "Well...everyone has something they care about, it's noone elses business what that is" Oracle nods. "That is true, but many people treat Brawl badly because he doesn't see things the way others do, they look down on him. But when we ended up leaving the Blaster, that is when he actually /saw/ the petro-Omega crosses. It only made him go nearly crazy." Bracer shakes his head "And now, they've taken you away" Oracle nods. "So it seems. Poor Brawl. But let me continue." She pauses to take a drink. "Midstream was there at the time, and between the two of us, we calmed him down somewhat. Midstream asked him why he was seeing a stuffed petro-rabbit in the first place, and he told the truth: it was the only female thing that wouldn't smack him for doing something...then he gave Midstream's rear and she smacked him, which proved a point. That is how we got to educating Brawl on the propper way to pick up a femme, and that's when Brawl started paying attention to /this/ femme." She points to herself. Bracer laughs "Well then, you did teach him something. Perhaps you could teach him reading as well" You say, "He still doesn't quite have it down pat yet, but he's even brought me flowers. I have them at home on my table." Bracer taps the side of his glass "Ghost wanted me to try and talk you out of seeing him." Oracle gives a long sigh. "How civil of her. I'm surprised someone hasn't taken a shot at me yet." She smiles slightly. "What are the reasons she gave you?" Bracer says, "She said you were causing him pain" Oracle nods. "That is everyone's arguement. And while I did admitt that I was doing so, I resolved to stop and make it so I'm not causing him pain anymore. There is more than one way out of any situation, and I am looking for the one that sees the least ammount of people losing." Bracer says, "And that is?" You say, "I am not certain yet, that's why I sent the letter to Onslaught." Bracer says, "Ahh...Ghost asked if I could talk you into forgetting him." He smirks and takes another sip of his cafegon.."I wonder what they're so scared of"" Oracle's face goes cynical in expression. "I am pondering that myself. They don't care about Brawl's /pain/, because if they did, they wouldn't hurt him so much. They would want him to be happy, not miserable. And they are making him miserable." Bracer nods his head "Perhaps you're having too much effect on him, in their view. I'm sure it won't surprise you to know that I told her that I wouldn't, nor did I think I could even do it" Oracle grins. "And how did she take this news?" Bracer says, "She frowned slightly, and said that she was afraid of that. I told her that I thought any attempt to dissuade you would probably accomplish the opposite." Oracle laughs. "I suppose my reputation for stubborness is growing. Perhaps that is why Onslaught is meeting me." Bracer says, "Perhaps he just has the same intention that Ghost did. Ghost just tried to get it to come from the inside, I suppose" You say, "I'm not really know for my respect to authority...I'm afraid the Militia and I don't always get along in some matters." Bracer rests his head on the back of his fist "Do tell..." You say, "Not that I disrespect them, but I don't listen to someone just because I respect them. I hold on too tightly to my own beliefs. And I will never lose them, even though I may at times appear to." Bracer says, "But I am Militia, Oracle, and yet you say "They"" You say, "I am talking about most of the members. Especially Phalanx. He seems to be a good mech and most likely suited to the job. I know he has rank, but I don't listen to numbers, I listen to ideas." Bracer says, "And what ideas are you gettng from us?" You say, "Well, I'm mostly refering to the incident with Lunar. I didn't like all the questioning and the pressure from Phalanx and the rest of the Militia. I had my reasons, as muddled as they were, and I resented the intrusion on them. Before that I had no problems with the Militia, nor do I now...I'm just a little more wary of them. No offense is meant, and it is nothing personal." Bracer says, "I understand that, Oracle, but you have to understand where we are coming from as well. We can't have people selectively torturing others...not to mention that Lunar has on several occassioned threatened other civilians and Militia members." You say, "I know that. And most likely if it was anyone else, I would have acted similar to those who are acting now. But it wasn't an attack at random. This has been building up between me and Lunar for quite some time. It was very deliberate." Bracer says, "Lunar is always very deliberate, Oracle. That's the problem." Oracle sighs. "But we are getting away from my story. Do you wish me to continue?" She devotes her attention to her drink for a while. Bracer nods his head firmly "yes, I would like that" You say, "Anyhow, as Midstream and I educated Brawl, he seemed to pay more attention to me. As we gave him bits of advice, he would try it. He was so obvious and I'll admit, his first tries were a disaster...especially with the poetry. I was slightly flattered by this. Later, Midstream convinced the Autobot who took the petro-rabbit away in the first place to return it to Brawl...he even cleaned up the rabbit. Brawl was so happy to get his bunny back, that I faded back into the background...for the time being." Bracer nods his head slowly, his attention fully caught up in the story. You say, "Well, Brawl was content with his petro-rabbit again. I didn't mind, of course. At the time I knew I liked him, and tried to talk with him when I could, but it went no further than that." Bracer says, "But the petro-rabbit, I take it, became less interesting after awhile?" Oracle cocks her head to the side. "You know, I'm not really certain what happened. I came into the Blaster one day and found Brawl without his petro-rabbit. I asked why and he said he caught her with another rabbit. So then he took notice of me once more. It was that day he brought me some crystaline flowers. I suppose that's when I became, as he likes to put it, 'his girl.' Everyone present was shocked, I can tell you that much." She smiles. Bracer gives Oracle a shocked look "I can imagine so...but now that he has you for his girl, you think he's been treated worse than before?" Oracle sighs. "It wasn't like this at first." Bracer says, "Hmmm...I don't know what to suggest, Oracle. What did you ask Onslaught?" You say, "I could show you a copy of the letter. I always make two copies just in case one gets lost." Bracer says, "If you wouldn't mind, yes, I'd like to see it. I....have rather good insight into Onslaught..." Bracer takes the datapad and spends a few moments considering the words on the surface. Oracle takes the time to finish off her drink. Bracer raises his optics from the datapad to consider Oracle a few times during the reading, and then puts his focus back on the words. "Hmmm...and you haven't received a reply yet?" You say, "I have. Onslaught wishes to meet with me. I am waiting to hear of the time and place." Bracer says, "And he didn't give you any forewarning of what he might say?" Oracle shakes her head. "No, only that he wished to discuss my note in person." Bracer grimaces "Not a good sign, really. Although it could be that he wishes to hear what you have to say." Bracer raises a brow "Or he could use this as an opportunity to try and recruit you" You say, "I don't trust him, but it's a chance I have to take. People run risks for things that they believe in every day. I cannot do less." You say, "I doubt it. The Decepticons would have no practical use for me." Bracer says, "In your view, perhaps, but perhaps he sees it as a chance to hold you over Brawl. You have to think like him...Onslaught is an opportunist" You say, "That is true. But if he thought I could be used to get to Brawl, why would he insist that Brawl find a new femme?" Bracer says, "I'm just trying to look over all posibilities. Primus knows that I'm certainly not going to exhaust them. I'm just wondering why he's agreed to see you, and trying to piece together what he might be thinking. Onslaught and I...you see...go rather far back." Oracle quirks an optic ridge at Bracer. "Oh? Well, I don't think he has anything to fear by meeting me in person. I am not well defended, and he knows that. Besides, maybe he just thinks that seeing me in person is the only way to get through my stubborness." Bracer says, "Oh, I don't think it's fear, curiosity would be closer. But keep in mind, that his mind will be working on ways to take advantage of you, or Brawl, or both." You say, "I know. He is quite the manipulator. But I hope that I won't be so easily taken advantage of." Bracer says, "Just keep your guard up" You say, "I will. Can you do me a favor?" Bracer says, "What is it?" Bracer receives a radio message. Bracer transmits a radio message. You say, "Don't tell anyone about this meeting until you here word from me, or if I'm gone too long. I don't want any interferance from my friends. They tend to be a little over protective." Bracer sighs and taps his fingers on his cup "Okay, I can respect that" he says after a few moments "But you gotta promise to let me know you're okay, and tell me when it's over" Bracer receives a radio message. Bracer transmits a radio message. You say, "I will." Bracer receives a radio message. Bracer says, "Be careful" You say, "I'll try." *Bracer leaves.* Oracle is pacing about the courtyard. Euphoria walks out of the cell. He looks out over the courtyard, both a slight twinge of pridse and honor in his eyes along with sadness and yet joy. His walk on this trial of justice has just BEGAN, but at least it has began... Euphoria looks at Oracle and smiles. He walks over. Oracle stops her pacing. She smiles to Euphoria. "It seems as though you're out." Euphoria nods, grinning. "Seems so. You busy?" You say, "Not yet." Euphoria nods, and then places his hand, very softly on Oracles shoiulder. Euphoria seems more confident than ever, as if he has just returned once and for all. He flashes a daredevil smile her way. "I've got a promise to keep theN. Want me to keep it?" You say, "Perhaps in the future. I have a meeting to attend. I am just waiting now for the time and location of this meeting." Euphorianods. "No problem. But I will take you. Life is for the living. And I'm breathing. So let us PARTY!" Euphoriasuddenly break sinto a break dance which lasts all of five seconds, before he faces Oracle again, grinning. "Also remind me to take you and Wildfire out some evening. Like I said, I owe you two." Oracle smiles, how can she not smile in the face of such good nature. "So what are your plans now Euphoria?" Euphoria grins, shrugging. "I don't know. I've got no businesses to return to now. I'll sell off my Dance's Club immediately. And as for the Spaceport Offices... Well, they can be my home. And as for my future... Well, I've started a walk of justice and redemption. It could not be completed with help from the Militia so I'll just have to complete it by myself." You say, "Is there anything I can do to help?" Euphoriashrugs. "I'm not sure. I'll get in contact with Zzaik, on Monacus, he'll give me the temporary help I need... Then... I need to visit the Decepticons." You say, "What for?" Euphoria looks at her, the completely happy grin, fading a little, taking on a more serious tone. "Well, lets be honest. I can't find the redemption in my own soul, I need it externally. I can't find it from within, so without will do. Militia won't help me, so I guess the Decepticons just might." You say, "How will meeting with the Decepticons give you redemption?" Euphoria makes a strange face. "I dunno. We'll see when I find oit. " He grins again. Oracle nods. "I wish you luck then." Euphoria nods. "I wish me it too. Either this stunt will finally grant me the life I desire, or a death in shame." You say, "And what life do you desire?" Euphoria looks at her, and he sighs, but remains grinning in his childish manner. Euphoria says, "What do I desire? I desire to be myself. And to finally have to stop running away from that same self. I want my Father's Spirit looking down upon me and being happy of the actions which have not occurred yet, and knowing I have made him proud." You say, "Very admirable. And what would have made your father proud?" Euphoria looks down at the ground for a second, before looking up at her. "What would have made him proud? Being me. Anyway, gotta be going Oracle, gotta few businesses to take care of. Bye!" Euphoria turns to leave. Oracle waves farewell to Euphoria. Oracle paces back up to the gates. Kimakaze sits quietly as usual. Nothing to do.... Oracle nods to Kimakaze and approaches her. Kimakaze smiles up, "Hello." You say, "Greetings Kimakaze. How are you this cycle?" Kimakaze grins. "Oh, just relaxing." You say, "Surely there are more comfortable places to rest and relax." Kimakaze shrugs "Maybe. But here I don't get told to clear out." You say, "That is true. I still think that everyone is being rather rude to you. I saw you doing nothing wrong in the City." Kimakaze shrugs "I just want to learn a few more thingss. But it seems I am not welcome." You say, "Yes, it does seem that way. But why?" Kimakaze sighs "I guess unless I do as I am told....." You say, "What have you been told to do?" Kimakaze says, "What I mean iss, unless I serve someone, they will not let me in their citiess."" You say, "Ah. I don't serve anyone at all. That's what Crystal City is supposed to be for, and I don't see how they can make you unwelcome if you are not causing trouble, which you didn't seem to be doing." Kimakaze grins "Oh sure, I have a track record - but I am not here to stir anybody's pot." Oracle sighs and leans against the city wall. She folds her arms and closes her optics in an attempt to calm herself down. "But I suppose convincing them of that wouldn't work." Kimakaze says, "No, there'ss no point. I DIED once already and have suffered for a long time because my master made me KILL for a living. I don't understand why it hass to conmtinue." You say, "Why the killing has to continue?" Kimakaze says, "I meant the rejection." You say, "Oh...I see. People seem to have trouble getting beyond the past. I know this is strange for me, an historian, to say; but it's true." Kimakaze nods "I understand....look, I'd better try and go home, now. Perhaps if I explain myself and promise to work harder, they'll understand and not punish me for something I didn't do." You say, "I don't know if the Chain of Command will be feeling so forgiving today." Kimakaze shrugs "Then I'll hide myself away in the tunnels." Oracle smiles. "I wish you luck then." Laughs softly, she's been doing that a lot lately.
