September 9th, 2003 ~Stormhammer(U), Figment(U), Swivel(A), Solar(D), Splitshift(U), Skydagger(D) The Wild Surge - Bar Dimly lit and noisy, Dead End's only bar is never lacking in patrons. While the energon isn't of the best quality, many of the chemical additives are unique to the place, and so highly prized by those who can afford them, even outside of the city. For those less affluent, the wall behind the bar still offers old, contaminated energon and various forms of crude-grade fuel as well as the more acceptable low and high grade energon, plus some interesting compounds that are better left to the imagination. Stormhammer [Robot] [U] Obvious Exits: -O- Out leads to Dead End - North Strip -Stormhammer stands slowly, stretching out stiff joints and connections, as he brushes some dust away from his arms. -Figment steps back into the Wild Surge, having tested what exactly is the case with the Golden Blaster. Oh, she does look herself for a change. Looking around, she spots neither the bot or the con who made the earlier statements and mutters quietly to herself. -Moonlight makes her way into the Surge shortly after Figment does. As usual, she has the mannerisms of someone returning home, and never seems even a bit ill at ease while inside the bar...unless someone provokes that sort of response. But today she is clearly in her usual, good humor. -Stormhammer glances over at the two newest entrants.. Well, at least the mood seems to have brightened, slightly. -Swivel cautiously enters the Surge, unlike Moonlight who entered some short time before her, who's entrance was preceeded by figment. Femme flow! Swivel seems to have that uncertain if being here is REALLY a good idea but determined to not let that cause trouble attitude as she walks a ways in, looking around with her finger to her mouth, uncertain where she wants to go... and making sure there are no obvious... trouble makers that dislike her around. -Figment turns around to face Moonlight as she spots her coming in behind her, only when she does, she does so as Moonlight. She just stands there in silence and stares at her blankly. -Moonlight blinks. She knows for a fact there's only one her...and Figment isn't it. Especially since the person in front of her /was/ nine feet tall a moment ago. She tilts her head to the side, as though trying to sort out how exactly she wants to react to this and how she even feels about it. -Stormhammer approaches Swivel quietly, positively looming behind the slight female. He makes a sort of 'ahem' sound, looking down at her. -Figment completely mimics Moonlight, tilting her head to the same side perfectly, keeping the same expression now that Moonlight has. -Swivel stares. Moonlight who is in front of her... and another Moonlight staring... and is about to say something... maybe about evil clones being contageous when she hears an 'aehm' and looks up. Instantly her optics brighten a whole lot more and her voice let's out a chipper, almost squeaky, sound. "STORMHAMMER!" -Moonlight chuckles softly to herself and makes a straight line to the bar, placing a hand quite distinctly on the counter top and ordering herself a white enerwine. She flicks a glance towards Fig-light to see if the smaller femme is still playing copy-cat. -Figment is indeed playing a game of sorts, following Moonlight, even imitating her gait as she walks along her, sits besides her and makes the same order in the same tone of voice. -Stormhammer chuckles slightly, smiling down at the femme. "Pleasant to see you as well, young Swivel." He kneels down to her height, more or less. "I trust times find you well?" -Swivel smiles at Stormhammer like some little kid would their hero, or a father... or an imaginary friend come to life... or something. "Well I can't say I've been top of the world, I've had ups and downs..... since I last saw you..." she lowers her head, still smiling and looking up with her wide indigo optics, practically ignoring figment and Moonlight for the moment as if they ceased to exist. "Though I must say I didn't expect to seeyou of all people here. Where have you been!?" -Stormhammer shrugs slightly. "I have been...Thinking." He states, matter-of-factly, as though that explains everything. -Swivel nods her head, still looking up at Stormhammer in that childish way, even claping her hands together in front of her chest. "Oh.... well I've missed you! There were some times I could have really needed to talk to you... but they've passed and I'm still here and not insane... so I guess.... it's all okay!" -Moonlight slams back the drink rapidly. The moment she finishes, she orders another one, hopping up on a bar stool to get comfortable. Like Swivel, she isn't paying attention to the 'other' grouping in the bar; her attention is focused on her replica. -Figment mimics Moonlight still, once done drinking though she doesn't order another one. "How am I doing?" she asks the original Moonlight, smiling at her. -Stormhammer chuckles quietly, patting Swivel gently atop the head. "I'm glad things seem to have worked out. I do not foresee anymore..absences..in the near future. I'm told that there has been a lot going on recently." -Swivel nods and almost hops up tryng to wrap her arms around Stormhammer's neck in a big Swively hug. "Good good!" she exclaims. "You are someone I can always rely on and trust when it comes to problems!" she says quieter... she finally peers over at Figment and Moonlight briefly. -Moonlight looks at Figment critically, as though judging the performance. "Your imitation was flawless. But without my lead, how well do you think you would do?" she asks, before starting on her second drink...at a much slower pace of course. -Figment smirks "I don't know you that well, that's why...however..." she quickly morphs again, standing tall as she wears the familiar form of Elita One. Resting her hands on her hips as she glares sternly at Moonlight she snorts "Look at you Decepticon, sitting here, enjoying your drink even while most of Cybertron's people suffer the penalty of your rush to conquest...." -Stormhammer gingerly lifts Swivel up with a single sweep of his massive arm, setting her to rest up on his shoulder. "Strange things have been happening of late.." He mutters, glancing over at Figment. -Swivel looks over at Figment, then shrugs. She remembers her evil clones... yes... she chuckles. "I suppose. I've been a bit out of the loop though. I guess when I go on patrols I drift into my own world...." -It's just as well that Moonlight saw Figment change. Elita One is one of the few Autobots that Moonlight actually cannot stand. As it is, she frowns...then grins. "You misunderstand. I never rush /to/ things, only away from them." And she starts with the sipping again. Then a light goes on inside her head and she narrows her optics slightly. "How many other 'higher ups' on Cybertron can you mimic?" she asks. Maybe the culprit /wasn't/ an Autobot after all... -Figment smirks at Moonlight, crossing her arms beneath her chest. "Typical of a Decepticon, lie, lie, lie, doesn't ever change..." turning her back to Moonlight she steps slightly away from her and mutters quietly "I don't mimic any 'higher ups' as you would put it, my actions are all my own, face it...a femme -can- lead..." she then changes back to herself and turns to bow towards Moonlight. "No need to pay, was a free show" she adds. -Stormhammer settles into a seat somewhere out of the way, keeping Swivel carefully balanced on his shoulder. He watches Figment and Moonlight with some amusement. "A welcome change of atmosphere, I must admit." -Swivel peers down at Stormhammer... er from her perch on Stormhammer... "Er uh..... really? Was something bad going on before the sudden flow of femmes?" -Moonlight nods slowly. "Mmmmm-hmmmm. How generous of you," she says dryly. Now, was that last answer from Eltia's perspective, or from Figments? Moonlight has trouble figuring the smaller femme out, which makes her more afraid of her than mechs double her size wielding dangerous weaopnry. -Stormhammer shakes his head slowly. "Nothing you need be concerned with, I hope. Just the young growing old too swiftly." Of course, there's much more to it than that, but the old mech conceals it well. No sense in frightening the girl before more is known. -Moonlight would shudder if she thought of what Figment could do for the Bots...or even the Cons. But she isn't thinking about that. Hearing bits of the conversation between Stormhammer and Swivel, she narrows her optics. "Was someone causing trouble here?" she asks. It's clear from her tone that she's rather protective of this bar...and it isn't even hers. -Figment moves to order another drink and sips it down quality, watching Moonlight's exchange with the others. -Stormhammer glances over at Moonlight, briefly. "There is always trouble, Friend Decepticon. But no, there was no..altercation." -Swivel looks at Stormhammer and frowns. "Well... War does that. People have to become old if thye wish to survive.... don't they?" she gives Stormhammer another squeeze-type hug around the neck. "I have my old moments every now and then too....." she looks over at Moonlight a moment, then back at Stormhammer. Friend Decepticon... easy for HIM to say that. -Moonlight slips back into her normal, relaxed self. "Good to hear it. I don't like it when people fight in here. Though it's probably rather petty of me considering all the fighting that happens everywhere else." She shrugs. Of course, Solar's snoring does nothing to effect her; she hears that sound so often that it's just a noise of life. She shakes her head at Swivel. "Not everyone has to become old...really. But I know what you mean about 'old moments'. I think it happens to most of us." Stress on the 'most'. She wonders if Figment has any such moments or if she's too far gone in her acts... -Figment snorts "People don't have to become old, that's just nonsense...everyone with a working CPU know it's you who make yourself to be young or old by choice..." -Solar stops snoring long enough to look up at who's making all the racket. He see's Swivel, and rolls his optic. He sees Moonlight and thinks she needs a new hat. He sees Figment and thinks she deserves another drink. And then he sees Stormhammer and his optic turns a deep red. He gets up and heads torwards the bar. -Stormhammer regards Figment and Moonlight thoughtfully for a moment. "I am quite old..my joints do not function correctly, my memory fails me at times. However, I am..content. And that is, perhaps, worth more than a youthful chasis." -Swivel looks down at Figment, then at Moonlight, then back at Stormhammer. "Hummmmm" she thinks a while. "Well... physcially people get old fast in war from ebing beat up or being caught in the crossfire... but mentally... well... there are consequences for choices and if you are childish... then you make childish decisions that seldom go far in war. I'm childish most of the time.... so I know!" -Figment stares at Stormhammer and shakes her head "Messed up is what you are, never heard of upgrades? Or perhaps maintanence? I'm not even a warrior on any faction and I still like to keep myself in optimal condition. It's good for you..." she then morphs to assume the form of Alpha Trion, reaching to brush a hand down the beard. "Even I do not see myself as old, merely as wise..." -Solar says, "Figment a few cycles ago did you happen to look like Enfilade in the bar here?" -Stormhammer touches a finger to one of the many cracks that scars his armor, thoughtfully, but says nothing. -Bingo! Moonlight was thinking the same thing, but then got side-tracked from actually /asking/ outright. She sends an appreciative grin Solar's way and waits for the answer. -Solar wears an optic patch for no real reason. If he wanted he could buy the best optics in the universe, he just prefers to wear his scars as a badge -Figment turns to look at Solar, musing in Alpha Trion's voice, fitting with her looks "Figment? I fear I know none who wear such a name..." -Solar says, "You better start rememberin if Figment keeps thinkin the first drink is free." -Figment chuckles heartily "The little Entertainer, yes, yes, she performes on occasions at Crystal City...mostly before the war though, how it changes things...pity we should suffer through it..." -And people say that Moonlight is foolish and doesn't take life seriously enough. She has /nothing/ on Figment. She wonders if there's any depth at all to the rather delusional seeming femme. She just hopes that she never actually has to /deal/ with Figment...that there will always be someone around better equiped to deal with her. -Solar says, "I'll take that as a yes then, Figmen can mimic Filly whenever she wants ta" -Stormhammer rubs his temples slightly. "Enough to make one's head spin, isn't it.." -Swivel sighs..... as things start getting grim again. She switches to Stormhammer's left shoulder. "Hmmm" she looks down at Figment pretending to be an old mech. She sighs and looks atStormhammer and rubs his temples, or left temple, as well with her small hands... wel.. compared to his. "Having my head spin would be rather uncomfortable." -Moonlight gives Solar an odd look. "Why would you say that Boss?" -Figment stares at Solar and shrugs "Whoever this Filly of yours might be, perhaps if the little one were to spot her she could mimic her...but to learn mannerisms, that takes observation...hmmm?" -Stormhammer smiles slightly, looking up at Swivel. Interesting change of perspective, really. "Tell me, child, do you know anything about an Autobot called.." Blast, what was that name again..? Ah.. "Morningstar?" -Solar says, "Morningstar was in here earlier." That's as polite as Solar gets to Stormhammer. "Its the easiest explanation. Moolight, did you even think of going through the scan logs for that cycle?" -Swivel shrugs her shoulders. "I know him. Don't know much about him though. Sure can be a risk taker... walking into the wastelands like that, that one cycle. WHy do you ask Stormhammer? Oh... what was that other name.. Khazaad or something?" -Moonlight blinks and forms an 'O' with her mouth. "You meant can as in she has the ability, not can as in she has your persmisson." She shakes her head. "Funny how I misunderstood you Solar." She shrugs and has a good laugh at herself. "But yeah, I kinda thought it was her too." She narrows her optics at the femme...er...mech...er...Figment. -Stormhammer shrugs his broad shoulders, carefully so as not to dislodge Swivel. "Simple curiousity, for the moment.. Do you happen to recall why he went to the wastelands?" -Figment morphs into an average looking mech now, quite a generic one it seems, no real features of note. "If Figment caused you some trouble, I could cover for her...she didn't ruin your bar did she...?" -Solar says, "Nothin like that I just heard that a fake Enfilade was seen in here, and I was asked to find out who it was." -Figment shakes her head "Strange, who this Enfilade you speak of?" -Solar hands over a pad with a picture of Filly "Thats her" -Swivel thinks a moment or two, then nods, whispering into Stormhammer's audial reciever, "Yeah... he was looking for Decepticons ... wanted to talk ... ... ... Commander..." she says. ... bad all he ... ... ... That ... ... ... well... ... thing ... less... ... um... ... and ... ... ... ... his ... ... ... I ... ... ... trying to tell him ... wasn't ... ... ... idea... but ... luckily was ignored... ... ..." -Figment looks a moment at the picture and then morphs into Enfilade's form. "Get me a drink, would you, Solar...?" -Stormhammer frowns slightly at Swivel, having pieced together parts of that earlier..His expression only grows darker as Figment changes shape again. So many threads twisting together, it seems. -Solar chuckles as he pours one of Enfilade's favorites. "Here ya go" -Swivel frowns because Stormhammer frowns. "Did I say somehting wrong.... or is the info leading up to something not good?" -Moonlight glances over at Swivel and Stormhammer for a moment. "Morningstar? Is that the guy that you gave us Cinder back for?" She seems to be paying attention to them, but then notes the transformation of Figment...yet again, and wants to shake that femme till she's dizzy...or even until her head falls off. Gruesome thought for the generally 'peaceful', if not quiet, Moonlight. But, since that wouldn't be 'proper' she contents herself to scowl at the fake Enfilade. -Figment takes it from Solar's hands and downs it in one swag. "Will that do for you, Solar...?" she asks, looking around the bar "Only problem seem to be not enough people busy themselves with drinking..." looking at Swivel and Stormhammer in particular she mutters "Quit yapping and buy yourselves a drink..." -Solar waits for the large amount of high grade that was in that glass to hit, he wonders if the fake Enfilade has the same metabolism as Figment and guesses she does. -Swivel looks down at Figment...er....um....yeah Figment and grins. "Hey that's a good idea...." she looks at Stormhammer and tilts her head to the side with a puppy-dog pleading look. "You don't mind if I treat myself to a drink, do you? Silly of me asking... this being a bar... but you don't MIND do you?" she shifts her position from Stormhammer's shoulder slightly. -Stormhammer shrugs again...seems to be a habit with the old mech. "I wouldn't stop you," he replies, slightly absently. His optics are fixed on the Figment-Enfilade apparition, a face he's not seen in quite some time. -Moonlight frowns at the Figmentfilade. "Is that /all/ you know about Enfilade?" she mutters. -Solar says, "Ya all heard the femme buy a drink." -Swivel grins and hesitantly... slides down from Stormhammer. She loks at Moonlight once she's down. "Morningstar.... the trade? I think. Not sure." she says quickly and hops onto a stool. "Alright, can I please get an Omegarita?" she asks politely, holding out sufficient credits for the drink, her big indigo optics focusing on Solar. -Splitshift strolls on into the Wild surge, looking somewhat drained, though a smile plays around his face, having just made a nice load of creds delivering.. something. After all, a good courier doesn't ask questions. And creds buy a lot of no questions. The racer approaches the bar, optics flickering in surprise at the motley crew assembled there. Putting some distace between himself at the barfight waiting to happen, he produces a cred-chip, placing down on the bartop. -Moonlight throws down an ammount of credits for an enerwine, "But let's skip the drink part," she says, turning away from the bar and taking a seat at one of the tables close to the bar. She puts her feet up on said table and leans back in her chair. Spotting the rather paranoid mech from several cycles back, she grins to herself, pointing her two hands at him in the imitation of two guns. "Bang, bang!" she says in a harsh whisper. -Splitshift rolls his optics but doesn't rise to the bait. -Solar pours one Omegaritta and takes the credits "One Omegarita in a salted glass." -Swivel turns as Splitshift walks in and tilts her head... sorta familiar... then click. "You're that guy with the box!" she exclaims in recognition. Without turning, she grabs the omegarita and takes a sip. -Moonlight pats the seat next to her and nods her head at Splitshift. For some reason she likes to bait people that are afraid/angry of/at her for being a Decepticon and for no other reason. She /knows/ she isn't a dangerous person, but until /everyone/ realizes it, she'll have her fun. -"Yeah, the mech with the box" Splitshift replies, tapping the cred chip on the bar impatiently. "I'm afraid it ran away though." -Solar says, "What'll it be?" -Swivel tilts her head looking perplexed at SPlitshift a moment, then chuckles... then stops. "Wait... we didn't get along well... did we?" -Splitshift says, "High Grade, straight and pure." -Figment nods "Drink, drink, drink....indeed....drink...drink...." she places the mug down on the counter "drink lots...." she then morphs back into herself, her visor flickering many rapidly changing colors. "SWEEEETTTTT DRINK!" she exclaims jovially. "Compliments to your establishment...good mech" -Solar says, "How high grade ya wanna go? You wouldn't believe some of the high grade I got" -Stormhammer addresses Figment in his deep bass.. "That's quite..disorienting, you realize. And potentially dangerous." -Splitshift does a double take as Figment morphs. "Great.. surrounded by crazy femmes" he remarks. "Still, I guess it could be worse." Looking back at Solar, Splitshift half-smiles. "Alright, so not /that/ high grade. AV grade. Just none of that colored/salted/iced crap." -Moonlight BOUNCES out of her seat again and /grabs/ Figment, shaking her rather violently. "Is the only thing you know about Enfilade the fact that she likes to drink!!!??? That's all I've heard of you in that 'guise. Drink, drink, drink! If you're going to do something, at least do it right! If you're going to make all of Cybertron look like drunkards and fools, then something /has/ to be done!" Moonlight seems quite angry..can't you tell? - Solar gets a bit nasty in his retort, "Why is it the fraggin priests can never let people lead their own lives? Ya just gotta force morality on others" -Swivel frowns at Solar. "Hey.... Stormhammer doesn't force anything on anyone... just suggests things is all!" she says in defense of her big self righteous friendly giant... then she looks over and s t a r e s at Moonlight. -Stormhammer doesn't even acknowledge Solar or his comment. He simply mutters, "There are pleasent aspects to sollitude and meditation...such as peace and quiet." -Splitshift mutters "That's pretty rich" at Solar's comment. Giving the bottle an appraising look, he suddenly bursts into laughter, obviously amused by.. something. Still chuckling, he pours himself a shot-glass of the high grade energon. "Here's to the past" he remarks to no-one in particular, downing the shot in one. -Solar says, "Peace and quiet are never found in a bar, and is never found in my bar." -Swivel holds a firm... 'look' at Solar (like that will effect anything) before she blinks a few times then peers curiously up at Stormhammer... "Why are you in a bar anyway?" she asks purely curious. -Figment lets out a screech, surprised as she's suddenly grabbed and violently shaken. With her small size she is rather easy for other more normally sized robots to move around and she feels the effects of this shake very much. The fact she just took a rather strong drink isn't helping the situation as she cries out "Hey!!! MAKE THE ROOM STOP! I ONLY DRINK DRINK DRINK BECAUSE I DRINK DRINK DRINK....WHO IS THIS ENFILADE ANYWAYS!?" she seems a bit shocked at the attack, trying to flail against her captor. "Leggo!" -Moonlight doesn't let go, but she stops shaking Figment for the time being. "You were just her a few moments ago, and I suspect it was you who was being so mean to Cinder /as/ her a few cycles ago. Did I /tell/ you to leave him alone?" She pauses. "And why should I let you go? You're clearly insane and shouldn't be lose on Cybertron anyhow." -Solar rather calmly reaches down under the bar and grabs a bottle of midgrade blue. He then walks over to the bar where Swivel is and make a show of opening the bottle before he slowly pours its contents out over Swivel's head. "I would say the drink is on the house, but it's actually on you." -Swivel blinks as liquid pours down on her head. She stares at Solar a moment with an unchanged expression, then bursts out laughing, wiping some of the liquid contents from her face and tasting it. -Splitshift pours himself another drink. "Damnit, can't a mech drink in peace" he mutters. "We're all going to be aft deep in laserfire soon." -Figment whimpers like a little kidlet as she tries to shake wildly against Moonlight's grasp once the shaking stop. She doesn't have the strength to over come Moonlight though, which more likely than not says something about her fighting skills. "I was not! I can't be her if I'm me! You're crazy!" she spits right back at Moonlight "I don't know any Cinder anyways....and you told me nothing because you weren't here!" so does she or doesn't she know him? -Moonlight still doesn't relinquish her hold on the femme. She turns to Solar and whines, "Solar!!" For the moment she isn't really paying attention to anyone else. -Skydagger steps in the door, stops, and looks around... -Solar shrugs and hands over a bar towel to the drenched Swivel, "Moonlight let Figment go, she hasn't hurt no one" -Splitshift downs his second drink and frowns, wondering if he's going to have to do something stupid and intervene. At least the Bar 'Con seems to be the voice of reason. -Moonlight sighs and losens her grip, but doesn't let go yet. "Maybe not physically..." she protests, narrowing her optics. -Stormhammer 'ahems' quietly to Moonlight. "I don't believe there's any benefit to frightening the poor girl, Friend.." -Skydagger walks further in, proceeding towards the bar and looking around as she does so. She stops when she sees Moonlight holding Figment, and stares at them curiously. -Solar says, "Let her go Moonlight NOW" -Figment struggles against Moonlight, and when her grip loosens, she attempts to nail her with an elbow tossed blindly backwards. "LET GO OF ME YOU EVIL FEMME!" -Swivel dries off with the towel and grins. "Thanks Solar. You're swell." it's hard to tell if this femme is being sarcastic or facetiou... or actually serious.... she continues getting most of it off of her and looks over at Stormhammer. Then at Moonlight. Then at Figment. "Er.....not good..." -"You heard whatshisname.." Splitshift begins, "..let the femme go. Only thing she's guilty of is being a few cylinders short of the full... Oh /scrap/." -Moonlight lets go with a vengence, waiting for when Figment struggles again, hoping that the femme will fall. "/I'm/ the evil femme! /I/ don't go around impersonating real people and then lying about it later. /I/ don't go around hurting people's feelings, even after I've been told not to. And if you all think /she's/ the victim here, then wait until all her little tricks come to light. I'll be saying 'I told you so' then." She shakes her head. "Well, I can see where I'm /not/ wanted, so I'll just excuse herself." Then, with much stomping of feet, Moonlight exits the bar. -Solar says, "Juat a laugh a minute in Solar's fragin fun house. Moonlight return to base. You're confined to Darkmount." -Swivel S T A R E S at Moonlight as she yet again has seen Moonlight's bad side. Swivel remains speechless.... for now. -Splitshift huhs, turning back to his drink, his views of Decepticons being totally justified by Moonlight -Figment struggles harshly and so when she's released, her face gets to meet the floor in a most ungraceful manner. Steams are actually coming out of her helmet as she jumps to her feet and screams in a voice that drowns all other voices in the bar "YOU ARE VILE AND DISGUSTING, NOT TO MENTION UGLY, TOUCHING ME LIKE THAT...I HATE YOU!!!!!!!!!" once she's got most everyone's attention with that echoing thundering scream of her, she sighs and murmurs "It's good to let out your anger, that way you don't get messed up by it...anger is a bad thing to hold...really is..." ((-Skydagger shrugs at Solar. "I'll have to talk to her." She turns to Figment. "Hello," she says with as friendly a tone as can ever be heard from her. "Might I ask you, what happened?" -Swivel stares at Figment and stares... then chuckles at her latter remarks. "Finally found a smaller AND stranger femme than myself...." she taps her fingers on the bar counter. -Solar sighs, and as strange as it might sound to those watching, he apologizes to the femme. "I think an apology is in order. Moonlight is usually a rather reticent and quiet, and entirely silly, femme. I have an idea where the anger came from and I will get to the bottom of it" -Stormhammer just shakes his head in amusement. Children... "A pity, though. I had hoped to ask friend Moonlight about this..exchange." Okay, so maybe it's a little odd for old Stormy to take such an interest in a relatively unknown mechanism. -Skydagger glances up curiously at Solar, giving him a look that says, she wants to know about this, then turning her attention back to Figment. -Figment smiles at Solar as if she weren't at all distressed mere moments ago. "Thank you Solar, you are a very kind and generous mech..." she then looks over at Skydagger and crosses her arms over her chest "Hi..." she mutters, as if disappointed with Skydagger. Solar says, "I'll fill you in later Dags," Lieutenant Moonlight says, "Well, make sure you do that...but honestly." Skydagger says, "Thank you. Moonlight, I will want words with you as well." -Skydagger blinks oddly at Figment, catching but not understanding the seeming disappointment. "How are you," she inquires. Solar says, "Oh do NOT worry YOU will be a part of the conversation" -Swivel frowns... looking up at Stormhammer. "Well... I'll see you another time... in maybe a less dissruptive area, hm? Anyway, I should be going. I'm up past my curfew." she says adding a cheesy grin, hopping off of hr aft. Lieutenant Moonlight says, "Yeah, yeah. I guess it was time for me to be on the black list again. Everyone needs their turn, right?" -Solar pours out yet another Omegarita and puts it down in front of Figment. -Stormhammer nods towards Swivel. "Be well, young one. I'm sure our paths will cross again, soon." -Figment motions at herself and fronws "What do you think? That barbaric student of yours took me in her arms and shook me wildly all around...I'm not even a mech! The weird things she fancies...you should teach her manners and self control!" Figment takes the offered Omegarita from Solar and drinks it quickly, perhaps being more shaken by her ordeal with Moonlight than she shows. -Skydagger nods slowly at Figment, frowning. "I see. Well," she says, pausing for a moment. "I have already made it clear to her I want to speak with her." She pauses, glances at Solar and says, "Something strong," then turns back to the smaller femme. "How did this precipitate?" -Figment frowns and hugs herself tightly, before starting out of the Surge, not meaning to say another word. She's shaken(literally too), and quite furious, and she has a vengence to think of. -Skydagger calls after Figment. "Hey...wait.")) MoonGate (#566Ten) Colorful could be a word to describe this barracks room. The walls are covered of many pictures of many different planets (none are on Cybertron)...most of them in bars and containing the same mech over and over. The room is littered with odds and ends and couldn't truly be called neat, though there appears to be some sort of purpose to all the clutter. There's a recharge bed, but unless it's being used, it is also most likely covered in junk. There are probably many little well-hidden hidey holes in this room, but anyone interested in them would have to both wade through the junk and possess a keen set of optics. It /had/ been temporarily straighted up due to a punishment given to Moonlight and Turmoil by Onslaught, but things have backslided since then. It's not as messy as usual, but it's far from a pristine room. Skydagger says, "Moonlight, go to the repair bay *now*. I shall be there shortly." Lieutenant Moonlight says, "On my way." Darkmount - Repair Bay Much like the adjacent research lab, the equipment here is showing signs of age, but is kept in a serviceable condition. Two automated repair drones lie against the far wall, though each is obviously missing a few parts...apparently they've been salvaged for someone else's benefit. The once well-stocked parts closets now contain mostly empty shelves and bins. Several dozen repair tables of various sizes are arranged in rows in the middle of the room. Drone Medic Redline's Side Office AutoMedic Dartboard Serdidymus Medical Terminal Obvious Exits: -S- South leads to Darkmount - Regeneration Spa -E- East leads to Darkmount - Medical and Science Level -W- West leads to Darkmount - Cryochamber -Skydagger storms in and looks around to see if Moonlight is here. She looks rather livid. -Moonlight is curled up on a chair, reading a medical datapad, trying to look non-chalant and failing. Her face is neutral, but her optics are still snapping with her own anger. -Skydagger stomps over to Moonlight. "Explain what the slag you were thinking!" No hello, no nothing. -Moonlight arches an optic ridge at Skydagger. "I was thinking that Field Commander Enfilade and my friend Cinder were more important than some trickster femme," she says, rather coldly for the usually cheerful femme. She knows she's in trouble, but she's not really sorry. Figment was /wrong/. -Skydagger doesn't blink. "Elaborate." -Moonlight sighs, not because she's upset, but because she has a lot to say. "It all started when Cinder asked me if I was really me. I asked him why he'd ask me such a thing, and he said that 'Enfilade' had been forcing him to drink and was laughing at him. Oh, and he said /you/ weren't exactly being civil either by the way. At the time I figured it must have been an Autobot. But then, today, I saw Figment impersonating all sorts of people, including Enfilade again. And, from the way she portrayed Enfilade, someone I have the /deepest/ respect for, you'd think that Enfilade was nothing more than a drunkard. I know she has a dependancy on the drink sometimes, but she's so much more than that. I snapped. That femme had mercilessly picked on Cinder more than once and had slandarded my Field Commander...in front of an Autobot no less....I was hardly rational." -Skydagger snorts. "Now then," she says, surprisingly calm. "Think about her for a moment, more specifically, her abilities, and tell me your conclusion." -Moonlight folds her arms. "She's a brat that can look and act like anyone. She has no concept of the trouble she causes. She hardly seems sane the way she keeps switching her identities....and then denies even doing it. She pretends to be offended or benevolent, but she's clearly just a walking act." She frowns. "I might not be the most fanatical zealot amongst us Decepticons, but I couldn't just let an outsider like that treat some of us this way. She'll be nothing more than trouble." Shaking her head she gets up and starts to pace. "Oh, I know I'm in for it this time, but I'm not really sorry." -Skydagger ponders briefly, then growls. "Repeat the process. Think about it again!" -Moonlight blinks. "Repeat describing the situation? Repeat thinking about it?" She shakes her head. "What /do/ you want from me? I'm not lying if that's what you're getting at." -Skydagger shakes her head. "Nothing of the sort. I'm starting to think, however, that Solar was right about you." She pauses to kick the table. "Think about her abilities again! Then think about this: wouldn't abilities like that be useful to the Empire?" Her voice is stacatto and edgy. -Moonlight narrows her optics. "The thought crossed my mind briefly....but the femme has no concept of reality. She's more flighty than I am. Do you really think you could /trust/ her? Do you really think she would care enough to do anything for anyone besides herself?" She stomps her foot. "I wouldn't really want someone fighting on the same side of me who is so intentionally cruel and malicious...though I know there's enough of us. But they care about /something/ enough to be controled even when they can't be trusted. I don't think anything would work on the midget." -Skydagger barks angrily. "If you know so much, why aren't you the commander? Eh?" -Moonlight shrugs. "Because I'd rather be liked, by others and by myself." She frowns. "I have no desire to lead anyone. But there is no substance to Figment, as her name implies. I don't think she cares about anything. I know I'm not a model Decepticon, but I care about what happens to us. I want good things for us, and if I have to fight, as bad at it as I am, I will. I prefer not to though. I'm just saying that she wouldn't stick with us most likely. And if she did, I'm sure we'd regret it." -Skydagger snorts. "And you know this for certain? Have you spoken with her?" -Moonlight sighs. "I've spoken to her in general many times. Never about joining, but I'm not into the whole recruitment scene. All I know is that I want to keep as far away from her as possible." She shudders. "I'm more afraid of her than I am of a heavily armed mech twice my size." -Skydagger nods. "Why?" -Moonlight makes a face. "For all the reasons I've already stated. I don't want to beat this to death, but I prefer people with more depth, substance, and personality. All she has is her little plays. She doesn't seem to hold to anything...it's like her mind is set adrift in space or something." She pauses. "And what /has/ Solar been saying about me anyhow?" The relationship between the two has always been rather odd, and Moonlight herself doesn't understand it half the time. -Skydagger shrugs. "At any rate. What you think of her is irrelevant. I think there may be potential here - at the very least, to entice her into Darkmount so I can dissect her." She shrugs again. "As for Solar, he warned me when I took you an as an apprentice that you aren't very...useful, or obedient." -Moonlight folds her arms. "He /would/ say that, wouldn't he? Well, in the first place, no one told me /not/ to stick up for my friends and those I respect. Didn't think it would be /such/ a problem. And if you want to go for flighty yet useful types instead of those who have an attachment but aren't /quite/ as useful as others...then I guess taking in Figment might not be so bad. But I'll still reserve the rights of 'I told you so' if it goes wrong." She kicks at an invisible annoyance. "I mean, if people /really/ think I'm such a waste, you don't /have/ to keep me here you know." -Skydagger nods. "Fine. Then you may leave." She constructs the sentence thusly on purpose - if Moonlight does leave, it's not because Dag told her to. -Moonlight shakes her head. "And make things worse for myself? Not likely. Sides' everyone who doesn't know the story might misunderstand. Not only would that make my life /that/ much more dangerous, it would cause me to lose most of my friends. Which, when it comes down to it, is all I really care about." Her expression goes completely neutral. "You can take that any way you want to." -Skydagger nods slowly. "I see. Well. Friends..." she says, quietly. -Moonlight arches an optic ridge. "Something wrong with that?" she asks, sounding the mildest she has since this conversation started. -Skydagger shakes her head. "Friends...are the easiest way to get oneself betrayed." -Moonlight taps her chest lightly. "That's a risk I'm willing to take." -Skydagger nods. "That is entirely up to you." -Moonlight smiles softly. "To me, they're really the only things worth it. Glory and conquest don't mean anything to me. Credits are nice, but not worth fighting for either." She sighs. "If you're done with me for now, I'll take myself to my room and finish my reading..." -Skydagger nods. "You may leave," she says, and heads to the computer to do some reading - and thinking - herself.
