July 1st, 2003 ~Enfilade(D), Skydagger(D), Solar(D), Rollcage(A), The Wild Surge - Bar Dimly lit and noisy, Dead End's only bar is never lacking in patrons. While the energon isn't of the best quality, many of the chemical additives are unique to the place, and so highly prized by those who can afford them, even outside of the city. For those less affluent, the wall behind the bar still offers old, contaminated energon and various forms of crude-grade fuel as well as the more acceptable low and high grade energon, plus some interesting compounds that are better left to the imagination. Iron Hitch mug Skydagger [Robot] [D] Rollcage [Robot] [A] Enfilade [Robot] [D] Solar [Robot] [D] Obvious Exits: -O- Out leads to Dead End - North Strip -Enfilade thinks this over, and nods at last. "Approved. Moonlight's a good worker but she don't got what it takes to be a warrior," she says to Skydagger. -Skydagger nods. "Thank you." She looks over at Solar to see what's taking him so long. -Moonlight moseys into the Wild Surge in her usual confident sort of way. Noticing a knot of Decepticons grouped together, she heads over towards them. "Greetin's," she says cheerfully. -Solar is still waitin ta get paid. -Rollcage is at the bar, keeping to himself, looking like a big maroon painted autobot thingy. -Enfilade turns her attention from Rollcage--what is it about that robot that seems so familiar?--and says to Moonlight, "I hear you're changing careers, miss.." -Skydagger hears the voice and turns around. "Moonlight," she says, expression one of intense seriousness. "I hope you don't plan on coming here before you come to medbay." She holds the expression for a moment, then grins. -Solar taps the bar in front of Rollcage, "Yo Autobot thats 2.5 creds" -Enfilade eyes Rollcage again and nods slightly to Solar to let him know that she will help him collect his fee if the autobot proves...unwiling. -Moonlight grins at Enfilade. "Don't think of it as changing, think of it as expanding. Once a smuggler always a smuggler. But yeah. I figured I should up the ammount of work I do around here." She turns to look at Skydagger. "Of course not. Well, not to drink anyhow. But every time I'm here is a before to something else, isn't it? Besides, I don't really drink /that/ much anyhow." -Solar . o O(Moonlight did work?) -Rollcage looks to Enfilade when her optics find him again, then to Solar "I have a tab here Solar... you should know that..." the voice being very familiar to Filly -Skydagger nods at Moonlight. "Fine. You are not to be overenergised in medbay. Unless of course your patient happens to be Dirge," she says with something akin to a grin. -Solar says, "You might have had a tab here in da past, but its my bar now. Bots don't have tabs no more. Considering the number of fights started by your bretheren I have to keep things on a cash only basis" -Enfilade snorts in disbelief, recognizing the voice at last. "I didn't realize cops drank this stuff," she says. -Moonlight chuckles at Skydagger's comment. "Tempting, but no. I figure I should start off doing things the right way. By the book and all." She settles easily into a seat and makes herself comfortable. "I take it since you brought it up, Enfilade, that you have no problems with my new venture?" -Rollcage frowns at Solar "This is neutral territory... and you know quite well I do not start fights in this territory" eyeing Solar, cassualy responding to Enfilade "There is no law aganst it." -Enfilade says, "No, Moonlight, not at all. I think you'll do well in a medical position, long as you work hard." Well, it's nicer than saying she's not cut out for field combat. -Solar says, "Look it's my bar, you got two choices. Pay up or leave. It don't matter if you start a fight or not, I set the rule. I ain't breakin it for no cop" -Rollcage frowns and cassualy drops the credits on the bar "No honor amongst warriors I see" -Solar says, "I have honor, but I don't trust ya. Its not cause of you, but because you wear that sigil." -Rollcage says, "sigils mean nothing in this bar, Solar... we are equals here... or at least I see so" -Skydagger grumbles under her nose, something about the service. -Solar says, "You might, but I don't. And frankly its my opinion that matters" -Moonlight flicks a glance towards the Autobot arguing with Solar. That's a silly thing to do with a mech in his own bar. She shrugs; Solar has it under control as he always does. She turns her glance back towards Fil and Skydagger. "I'm glad you approve," she says to Enfilade. She just hopes that she can prove that she can do it. She really doesn't like letting people down. -Rollcage shrugs a bit "As you see it... I don't really care" waiting for his drink now that he has paid, optics flicking to Filly again. -Enfilade says, to Rollcage, "His bar, his rules. Unless you think you can break 'em an' walk. You're welcome to try." -Solar passes over the drink and walks back to the other Cons. Solar mutters to Skydagger: "You ... have ... hard time sanitizing all ... ... ..." -Moonlight waves to Solar. "Heya Boss. It looks like I'm not the only one who doesn't listen to you," she says with a chuckle. -Skydagger casts an odd sidelong glance at Solar, face half-grimacing. "You gonna get me a drink already," she asks irritatedly. -Solar says, "You wanna tell me what the frag ya want?" -Enfilade shoots glares at Skydagger and Solar. Dammit, don't fight in front of the Autobot. -Rollcage ignores Enfilade, resting his elbows on the bar. -Skydagger's hands ball into fists and she's about to growl angrily at Solar when she notices Enfilade's glare. She changes her expression to something synthetically friendly and says, saccharine just dripping from her voice, "Solar, would you be a dear and get me an omegarite?" She flickers her optics as if batting her lashes and finishes with a sickly-sweet smile. -Solar happily mixes and pouurs "Why course all ya had ta do is ask -Moonlight looks between Solar and Skydagger. Great. One boss doesn't get along with the other. She's not sure whether that is good news or bad news. "So, how is everyone this cycle?" she asks conversationally. -Enfilade rolls her optics at Skydagger...what did she do to end up with this crew... She says to Moonlight, "I didn't get run over or flattened today, ain't that nice?" She narrows her eyes, and mutters something jerking a finger at the Autobot. "... ... frag is ... ... ... of ... ... him? ... I swear ... seeen ... ..." (("Who the frag is that guy? Any of you know him? Cause I swear I've seen him before.")) -Solar says, "Well Filly maybe you'll do better tomorrow" -Skydagger shrugs at Enfilade. "No idea...." -Solar mutters to Enfilade: "Woulda ... ... ... him. ... grew ... in CC too. Bot ... ... drill ... Real by the ... mech" -Moonlight shrugs and looks at the Autobot subtley so that he shouldn't be able to tell that she is looking at him specifically. "I don't know. The voice sounds a little familiar, but I can't really say," she says in a hushed tone. -Enfilade says to Moonlight, "So what prompted this change of career?" -Moonlight shrugs. "Lots of things actually?" Talk about being vague. Maybe she doesn't want to discuss it, or maybe she's just lazy. Perhaps she doesn't even know the answer herself. In any case, she doesn't expand on her very limited answer. -Solar says, "She can go to medical school if she wants but I ain't payin for it" -Enfilade lets it go, after all, no point in trying to talk Moonlight back into combat. "The Empire's got courses, one more student won't hurt, Solar. Besides, Skydager is going to help her." -Solar says, "I said she could go didn't I?" -Skydagger looks at Solar. "About that. I need to discuss her scheduling with you." -Moonlight arches an optic ridge at Solar. "No one is asking you to you know." She grins. At least he hasn't shot down her idea...yet. -Solar says, "I figure with some medical training, she may be able to shoot better." -Enfilade nods. -Moonlight blinks. "How do you figure that Solar?" She has a feeling there must be a punchline to his comment somewhere. -Solar says, "You'll know the loacations considered 'kill' shots. Parts a mech can't do without." -Skydagger sips her drink and listens to the words being said, but not adding any of her own. -Moonlight hmmms. Of course she should have known that, but just because she knows the spots better doesn't mean she can /hit/ them any better. But she isn't learning to be a medic just so she can hurt people better. "That isn't really my goal in learning the ropes of a medic Solar." She shrugs. -Solar shrugs "You asked Moonlight." -Skydagger looks at Moonlight and finally says something. "What is your goal?" -Moonlight gives Skydagger a look that means the answer should be obvious. "To learn how to fix people of course." -Solar says, "My goal is giving her people to fix." -Moonlight gives Solar a dry look. "Thanks for the support." -Skydagger snorts at Solar. "I'd prefer it if you gave the Bot medics more work, not me." -Solar shrugs "I slag bots, you get more spare parts" -Moonlight stands up. "Well, you two can figure out my schedual. I have a few things to settle before I start to learn thing in earnest." She tips her hat and then walks jauntily out of the Surge.
