Darkmount - Barracks

     You step through the large and heavy door into an archaic looking cavern. The natural material of the mountain is very much in evidence here, as not much effort was put into making the army's barracks very attractive. With plasma tools and brute hydraulic power, hundreds of cubicles have been carved out in strangely organized rows throughout the room and at multiple levels.
     The size of the cubicle is a general indication of the rank of the owner, and you'll notice several larger rooms higher up in the cavern, almost as if they were positioned to watch over the troops below.

-Moonlight is leaning outside her barracks room door, arms folded, and hat pushed down over her face to hide it.
-Omnisaber is sitting upon his knees on the floor near one of the corners in the barracks...his optics completely shut off, his hands resting upon his knees.
-Slipstream walks into the barracks level looking a bit peeved at something. Her optics dart to the hole in the wall and then to the newly cleaned floors.
-Moonlight watches the room from under the brim of her hat. She waves to Slipstream, but doesn't make any other moves.
-Omnisaber is motionless...continuing to sit idly, optics completely shut off...completely still.
-Slipstream grins as she spots Moonlight. "It has been quite a long time!" She takes a step forward and spins around showing off her new paint job. "I needed something different after Magnus almost killed me."
-Moonlight tilts her head upwards now, which takes her face out of the shadows of the hat's brim. She flashes Slipstream a grin. "I like the blue much better. Grey is too....conservative for my tastes."
-Slipstream grins. "Well when you get dragged off filed by a nuetral with melted pieces, it is time for a change." She motions Omnisaber to join them where they are talking and continues, "I like this shade of blue. It works well with my optics. And besides, they almost have this hole fixed so this place won't fall apart."
-Omnisaber moves his head upwards and towards the two talking, his optics still shut off...having sensed the motioning that Slipstream has made, calling toward the two, "If you want me over there, you'll have to wait a few moments...while I can talk, movement may be difficult."
-Moonlight smiles. "I can go over there if you like."
-Slipstream shoots Omni a sympathetic look. "Still not repaired?" She kicks out a moving chair to him. "This might help you out a bit."
-Omnisaber chuckles softly, "Not repaired? Hah....I'm in perfect condition actually...I'm merely honing a few of my abilities. In fact, you two can stay there and whisper to each other, and I'll still be able to respond properly. Shutting off my optics is a little trick I learned long ago."
-Slipstream takes a comm call.
-Moonlight shrugs and walks over to Omnisaber anyway. "You meditating or something then?"
-Omnisaber shakes his head..."Not exactly...just exercising the abilities I have. Might as well, lest I lose my ability to use them properly. That and when never knows when ones optics may not function properly and they may need to rely on other stimulae..."
-Moonlight nods. "Yeah, I guess so. That's rather practical minded of you."
-Omnisaber faces Moonlight smirking, his optics still offline, "Yeah...I suppose so...it's helped me many times in the past...more often than I can count, but that's neither here nor there. How're you doing after last night?"
-Moonlight grins. "Oh, I'm just fine. But that's usual for me. Not much gets me down, and when I am down, I don't stay there for very long."
-Omnisaber smiles at her, "Well, that much I'm glad to hear...it's an excellent philosophy...an outlook on life even I can admire."
-Moonlight chuckles. "Well, I wasn't put here just for you to admire you know."
-Omnisaber grins at her, "Oh no? That's a shame...I suppose I'll have to find the one who was put here for me to admire..." he says half jokingly.
-Moonlight shakes her head. "You'd be looking for a long time then...and I don't think you'd find her on /this/ planet anyhow."
-Omnisaber shakes his head, "Well...that's not all I'd be looking for anyhow...not that I haven't been looking mind you...not sure why not on /this/ planet...but it's all good. Kidding aside mind you, what seems to be going on here today?"
-Moonlight shrugs her shoulders and sits down next to Omnisaber. "Who knows? Unless I'm needed for something, I have an un-Intel like habit of not sticking my nose into everyone else's business."
-Omnisaber chuckles, "Well...maybe it's time we change that...we could just go out, strike up a little fun and trouble...wouldn't really hurt I suppose...besides, there are other ways of gaining Intel besides sticking ones nose into things."
-Moonlight shrugs. "Maybe. I'm more into goods than information anyhow. But when the business for one is in a lull, then I can always go for the other."
-Omnisaber says, "Well stated...and too true to the reality of life. Let me ask you something...if you could go anywhere, say for a vacation...leave your life or worries behind for a few cycles...where would you want to go?"
-Moonlight sighs and leans back against a wall. "Not sure really. I've been lots of places. Ideally, I'd like to go back to Monacus, but last I checked they were still looking for me there."
-Omnisaber chuckles, "Ahhh...Monacus...they look for many people...it's the catching part that usually eludes them. So, why might they be looking for you there?"
-Moonlight smiles in a reminiscent sort of way. "Because I'm part of Swipe's group. We sort of fell into...disfavor there."
-Omnisaber nods softly..."I remember a few stories about him...nothing major mind you, would make sense why you'd have trouble on Monacus...then again, 'we' haven't found much trouble with them as of late...if you'd really like, we could leave for Monacus in a few cycles....oh wait, don't mind me...I'm not thinking properly...but....wait...exactly how did you fall into disfavour there? What did you end up doing to tick them off?"
-Moonlight shrugs. "/I/ didn't do anything personally. I was just guilty by association. Let's just say that between smugglers there's sort of a code. Swipe started small time, and when he got into the big leagues, it went to his head. He got sloppy."
-Omnisaber says, "Well, I know all about the code...but getting sloppy is usually a no-no...if it's guilt by association, then you'd be fine travelling with certain...individuals. I wouldn't see any problems...then again, it'd be up to you if you wanted to go."
-Moonlight gives Omnisaber a long serious look. "You said we earlier...who is we? And why do you know so much about smuggling anyhow?"
-Omnisaber smirks, turning towards her, optics still off, "The 'we' is my crew/ship/employees....and in so far as smuggling...well, I've done a good number of things in my day...and by 'association' I technically still do when necessary. That's the brief answer mind you."
-Moonlight narrows her optics slightly, but her hat hides the fact. "What sort of things? Who did you work for?"
-Blitzwing casually strolls on in, whistling.
-Omnisaber says, "I didn't work for anyone...I was the 'boss', and I still am...not that I condoned the smuggling mind you...but I picked up a few things. As for what sort of things? Sometimes it would be supplies for the bar...weapons...fabric items...whatever suited our needs at the time.""
-Moonlight hmmmmmms. "You wouldn't happened to have heard anything about Swipe? Last I saw him he was being swarmed by badies and telling me to run away..." She looks at the ground. "I never even found out whether he is still alive or not."
-Omnisaber shakes his head, "Personally I don't recall hearing a thing...though I could easily look into it...or ask my people, either those here, or the few I might have currently on Monacus for whatever reason. It's either that or going to investigate in person."
-Blitzwing leans on the wall waving to Moonlight, 'fore nodding to Omnisaber. "Might I ask you something Omnisaber?"
-Omnisaber senses Blitzwing's presense...his movements...not really seeing them considering his optics are shut off, relying on his other abilities....turning his head to face where Blitzwing is he smiles, "My good friend Blitzwing, you are more than welcome to ask me ANYTHING."
-Moonlight seems about to answer Omnisaber, but looks up as Blitzwing starts talking. She flashes a grin at him.
-Blitzwing looks to Omnisaber. "You heard that conversation with that Autobot aftplate, so I guess the secrets out. You dont plan on telling anyone do ya?"
-Omnisaber shrugs, "I have no reason to...besides, a secret is a secret. I'm not one to share them...as I value them too much. Every secret is precious and must be treated so. Your secret is completely safe with me, you have my word."
-Blitzwing bows his head. "My thanks good sir."
-Moonlight gets that mischievious look on her face and her optics sparkle from under her hat's brim. "What's your secret worth to you?"
-Omnisaber places his hand up in a 'stopping' motion towards Moonlight, "Don't ask...it's not appropriate...allow him his secret, and the ability to keep it such. As for you Blitzwing, no need to thank me...such is my nature."
-Blitzwing raises an optic ridge at the mischevious wiley Femme. "You know too?"
-Moonlight smirks. "Maybe I do, maybe I don't." She turns and looks at Omni. "What? It was just a question." She makes an innocent face.
-Omnisaber grabs a small pouch from subspace and tosses it over to Moonlight...a pouch filled with quite the number of creds..."There, regardless of whether you know it or not, you've been paid for it now...quick way to make some currency, huh?"
-Blitzwing begins banging his head against the wall. "Stupid ethics. Stupid. Stupid. I Can't harm a femme. I befriended her. Didnt mean for it to be a fraggin incident." He plops down onto his aft and sulks.
-Moonlight looks injured. "You misunderstand me Omnisaber." She puts a hand to her chest. "I'm hurt." She looks back at Blitzwing. "You seem rather upset..."
-Omnisaber smirks, "It's alright Blitzwing...it's the right thing...it's how it should be...makes you a better mech," turning towards Moonlight, "Then maybe you misunderstand...I have a reason for giving you those...just take them...I'll explain later."
-Blitzwing frowns "The others wouldnt react as forgivingly....you know that."
-Moonlight looks confused with Omnisaber for a moment, but only for a moment...she wouldn't be very good at disguising herself if she let her emotions take control all the time. She stows the credits away for the time being. "This I have to hear. But there's time for that later I guess." She turns back to Blitzwing. "Okay, the cyber-cat's out of the bag now. I don't have a clue what your secret is...but now you've got me curious. I won't tell." She winks. "Smuggler's honor."
-Omnisaber cocks his head slightly, "The others? What others? I hope you don't mean 'command'...I wouldn't worry about them. They've got their fair share of problems, or so I've heard....regardless, your secret shall remain safe."
-Blitzwing frowns "I got a friend whose A bot...nothin more to it Moonlight." He looks to Omni. "whatcha ya mean problems with command?"
-Moonlight narrows her optics slightly. "It isn't that Swivel girl is it?"
-Omnisaber smirks and chuckles, "Oh....nothing....nothing at all regarding command....I'm not a 'Con really, so none of my business. AS for being friends with a 'Bot...it happens. I 'used' to have a few of them...not sure what's going on with them now - to be honest."
-Blitzwing Umms. "What makes ya say that?" ...he's a terrible liar.
-Moonlight makes a hmph sound. "I say that because the femme is trouble Blitzwing..." She lowers her voice. "She seems to like to attach herself to Con mechs." She shakes her head. "I don't know why the Bots bother keeping her." She chuckles. "Then again, I guess my behaviour doesn't always look pristine either."
-Omnisaber smiles, "Speaking of 'Cons, I certainly hope command decides what they're going to do with me...I'd really hate to have to leave from having to wait too long...sure, it'd mean I'd be off planet for a while, but a mech has to do what a mech has to do..."
-Blitzwing looks around....and ponders silently for a moment. "She's not that bad Moonlight. She's just a kid. Steelwind however...Is marked for Death."
-Moonlight shakes her head. "I never said she was 'bad' exactly."
-Omnisaber sighs, "And why have YOU marked that mech for death, if I might ask?"
-Blitzwing chuckles "He tried watching me talk to her in the bushes, he thought he was stealthy. Idjit. I had her radio him, heard it from the bush, he jumps out and tries to kill me. I Broke him. THen he didnt stay dead. So imma kill him. Simple enough?"
-Omnisaber shakes his head..."No, because he was technically 'mine' well before that. He attacked Moonlight and obviously me stopping him once wasn't enough. All the same...."
*Omisaber wanders off*
-Novastar steps out of the elevator, and stretches, with a few small pops from some gaskets. That's another long patrol out of the way.
-Blitzwing waves to Nova star, he's sitting against a wall absently yackin away.
-Moonlight folds her arms and shakes her head. "You mechs are all the same."
-Blitzwing grins "All im sayin is...take a shot at me...kill me. Otherwise...Lights out."
-Moonlight makes a face. "Nice and simple. Do you have to memorize that or does it just come naturally?"
-Novastar looks around the room scattered with off-duty Decepticons, before noticing Moonlight and Blitzwing off on one side. Novastar, recognizing them from last night at Dead End, walks over to catch up on recent happenings.
-Blitzwing chuckles. "What? I'm the nice guy remember? I didnt wreck the bar or nuthin...."
-Moonlight holds up a hand. "Whatever. Violence is still your first tendancy, and sometimes I think it's your only one."
-Novastar starts hearing things from the middle of the conversation, and decides its probably better to wait until things cool down.
-Blitzwing Umms again. "Whats that supposed to mean? I have my refined moments...I'm smart and that other stuff."
-Moonlight grins, and without warning, punches Blitzwing. She didn't put a lot of power behind it, and it probably doesn't hurt.
-Blitzwing falls like a stack of bricks optics shut, by all appearances out cold.
-Moonlight hmphs and nudges Blitzwing with her toe. "Faker."
-Blitzwing doesn't move.
-Novastar's jaw drops open. "I'm not sure you actually hit hard enough to actually tip him over, even if he did drop into stasis..."
-Moonlight glances at Novastar with a shrug. She walks over and sits on Blitzwing's knees. She chuckles slighlty at Novastar's reaction.
-Blitzwing suddenly springs up that grin on his face. "fool ya?"
-Moonlight shakes her head, sitting rather unmovedly on his knees. "You're a bad liar and a worse actor."
-Blitzwing shrugs and scoops her up in a swift move standing up. "Still...that wasnt very nice. What I do?"
-Moonlight doesn't fight getting picked up. "You? You didn't do anything."
-Novastar leans his hands on the table, deciding now is a fairly good time to enter, "Oh she of the Megatron-grade punch," he says grinning, "What ended up happening last night? I didn't see the Autobots leave.."
-Blitzwing chuckles and fakes dropping her. "That wouldnt be civil. So you just punch Mechs for no reason?"
-Moonlight drops to her feet gracefully. "Is violence a reasonable thing?"
-Blitzwing grins broadly. "Let's see...I'm a tank...they don't build me to make energon cubes ya know?"
-Novastar snorts. "Make, pillage... sorta the same thing, right?"
-Moonlight folds her arms and gives Blitzwing a cold look. "Then I'm glad that I don't know what I was built for. Gives me a lot fewer things to be blind about." She grins. "I'd apologize for hitting you, but that punch couldn't have made a kidlet cry."
-Novastar grins, and leans back, wing nearly taking out the optic of a nearby 'Con. "Nah, Moonlight. By that definition I should still be checking pressure gauges in Polyhex."
-Blitzwing looks to Moonlight and quips "I thought you were built to Dance..."
-Moonlight winks and shakes her head. "Naw, I picked up that function on my own."
-Novastar snaps his fingers, and exclaims, "There you go!"
-Moonlight throws a look at Novastar. "Hmmm?"
-Novastar stammers slightly, and then explains, "You picked up dancing. It's not really a function thing." Novastar hesitates and looks downfallen, "Or was that sarcasm?"
-Blitzwing chuckles "Then I guess your a very good teacher." He turns to Novastar. "Loosen up! We dont bite! Well maybe she does..."
-Moonlight raises her optic ridges. "That's more Whiplash's department. I'm just a friendly femme trying to survive this insane asylum of a planet."
-Blitzwing looks to Moonlight, and jokes "I hear things about your more rowdy side..."
-Moonlight grins at Blitzwing. "You might have heard things, and they might all be true, but I draw the line at biting."
-Novastar nods in agreement. "It's a crazy, mixed-up world all right. But fun to watch."
-Blitzwing looks around. "Well...it was fun watchin ya maintain order last night. Never thought of ya as the type to assert yourself like that."
-Moonlight hmphs. "What order? Last night was a mess."
-Novastar shrugs. "Last night was fine from where I was standing. I don't think Omni helped the issue, though."
-Moonlight shrugs. "I would have been perfectly content if none of it happened."
-Novastar says, "What were the Bots doing there anyway? Are they stupid?"
-Blitzwing Chuckles..."They were looking for something. I'm not sure why...But They were looking for Omnisaber.
-Moonlight shrugs. "I don't know. Looked to me like that Resonance fella was just trying to get a drink." Her optics brighten. "But we could go down there and try to figure out what they might have wanted..."
-Novastar moves around the table to sit on it, raising an eyebrow as he sits. "I thought he was an allied Neutral, or something with semantics like that?"
-Blitzwing shrugs..." far as I can tell He's one of ours."
-Moonlight shakes her head. "Not officially he isn't."
-Novastar thinks that over for a second. "He's NOT an ally then?" He then mutters to himself, "My head hurts, and I haven't even been firing EMP rounds...."
-Omnisaber walks off the elevator, casually into the barracks, scanning about and noticing that Moonlight is with others, still conversing or so it would seem.
-Moonlight glances at the elevator and grins as Omni steps out of it. "And there he is."
-Omnisaber gestures a solitary hand into the air..."Yes! Hear I am!"
-Blitzwing quips "Told em not to leave the door open."
-Moonlight looks around at the mechs. "So, are we heading for the bar again, or what?"
-Novastar shrugs. "Well, if the Autobots show up..." Novastar grins, "Blitz and I will hold them down, you can punch."
-Omnisaber raises an optic ridge at the whole conversation that he seems unaware of..."Alllllright...don't let me interrupt your plans for the evening...." smiles softly...
-Moonlight walks over to Omnisaber and curls her arm around one of his. "You're not interupting anything."
-Blitzwing plops back down. "I aint much up for drinking tonight....I dunno...."
-Omnisaber merely nods to Moonlight, his thoughts partly elsewhere...
-Moonlight pouts slightly. "Spoil sports..."
-Novastar shrugs. "Well, we could drop insulting pictures of Elita outside their base...
-Omnisaber smirks at Moonlight, pulling her closer, arm still hooking his..."Now now my dear...that won't ruin our fun..."
-Blitzwing rolls out his neck. "Maybe Ill go stretch my wings..."
-Moonlight arches an optic ridge. "Anyone else not want to go to the bar with me?"
-Novastar shakes his head. "Last night was interesting. I could stand some more time out."
-Blitzwing shrugs "I better tag along then...I'm the calming influence after all."
-Novastar slips off the table as he starts to laugh.
-Moonlight hmphs. "You're about as calming as a meteor storm."
-Omnisaber shrugs, "Well, if we're going to go, let's just go...last thing I need is to stick around here."
-Moonlight grins. "Okay, let's go then. If the others come, then they come." She heads for the exit, tugging slightly on Omnisaber's arm as she goes.
-Novastar grabs onto the table top for support, pulling himself to his feet as the laughter dies off. With an apologetic glance at Blitzwing, he follows the two out.
-Blitzwing hmmms. He gets up and follws suit.
-Omnisaber smirks, following along as he gets tugged....and tugged he is...

The Wild Surge - Bar

     Dimly lit and noisy, Dead End's only bar is never lacking in patrons. While the energon isn't of the best quality, many of the chemical additives are unique to the place, and so highly prized by those who can afford them, even outside of the city. For those less affluent, the wall behind the bar still offers old, contaminated energon and various forms of crude-grade fuel as well as the more acceptable low and high grade energon, plus some interesting compounds that are better left to the imagination.

-Novastar steps into the bar, adjusting to the noise a bit faster this time, and follows the group.
-Moonlight makes her way into the bar, a slightly smug look on her face.
-Blitzwing takes a seat at the bar.
-The bartender looks at the group a bit cautiously, considering how things were a little unstable last night.
-Omnisaber is still being dragged by Moonlight, a small smile upon his face.
-Moonlight waves cheerfully to the bartender as she drags Omnisaber into the room. Once inside she lets go and makes her way to the bar, sitting near Blitzwing and Novastar.
-Blitzwing shows the bartender four fingers. A moment later he has four beers in front of him. "Oh gee... where are my manners..."  Blitzwing says, "You guys need drinks too!"
-Omnisaber shakes his head smiling, finding himself a spot to seat with a good view of the door.
-Moonlight can't help but laugh. "You're going to get yourself into trouble one of these days Blitzwing."
-Novastar raises his cup. "I'm good, thanks."
-Blitzwing grins "Less for you...more for me."
-Omnisaber shrugs and smirks, "That's alright. I run a place like this, I know what's in the drinks for customers like you..."
-Moonlight looks at Blitzwing. "If you're buying I'll have an enerwine. If you're not, then I'll have one anyhow."
-Omnisaber chuckles, "Don't worry, it's on my tab....right?" he directs towards the bartender whom he knows quite well.
-Blitzwing tilts back one beer. "Ah...the simpler pleasures."
-Novastar looks at Omnisaber with interest. This guy gets around....
-Moonlight gets her drink, whether she's paying or not, and heads back to sit with Omnisaber.
-Novastar walks over to join Moonlight, gesturing for an invitation at their table.
-Moonlight glances over at Blitzwing. "You gonna sit at the bar all day or you gonna come and join the rest of us in the drinking and making merry?"
-Omnisaber smiles at Moonlight's words to Blitzwing, "You do realize he is drinking and making merry, unlike myself...so, no need to pester him."
-Novastar sits down, and surveys Omnisaber again. "So, are you in intelligence? Odd to see a 'Con without the sigils."
-Moonlight leans towards Omnisaber. "I think you need a little more merry in your diet. And I don't think that I'm pestering him." She raises her voice, "Am I Blitzwing?"
-Blitzwing holds up a finger. "I cant carry all of them....let me lighten the load!"
-Omnisaber looks over at Novastar and sighs softly, "I'm in a sort of intelligence...however, not an official 'Con. At least, I'm not like you sort, with your ranking and the what not..." smirking over at Moonlight he replies, "And I don't think drinking right now is a good idea for me...I have to keep a clear head for a little while longer...."
-Novastar grins. "The only ranking I have is a lack of it, really."
-Moonlight grins. "There's more than one way to have fun you know Omnisaber."
-Omnisaber grins and chuckles softly, "Oh...I know Moonlight...I know....", laughing a little bit louder after hearing his latest message via radio.
-Blitzwing keeps merrily drinking, planning on walking or stumbling to the table soon enough.
-Moonlight grins, stands up, and walks over to Blitzwing. She tugs on his arm. "I'm sure that the people of this fine establishment will be /more/ than happy to bring you your drinks."
-Novastar sips his drink for a moment, watching Moonlight tug at Blitzwing, "Speaking as a former walking electronic sensor, aren't you worried about being intercepted in Neutral territory? You've got Autobots probably walking around somewhere...
-Blitzwing goes along with the tugging. He grabs his one remaining beer and brings it to the table.
-Moonlight sits herself back down, sitting next to Omnisaber. "Too bad I don't have a pack of cards handy. We could have had a nice, friendly game of poker."
-Novastar says, "Well, I don't know. There might be some cards under the counter."
-Omnisaber shrugs, "Or someone might just happen to have some...as in, myself...however, I left my cards elsewhere this time. Ask the bartender..."
-Novastar shrugs, "Well, you didn't volunteer, and I don't carry cards with me normally, my compartments generally have ammo.
-Moonlight sighs. "I usually /do/ carry cards. Somehow I forgot them today."
-Steelwind walks into the establishment, looking around. He walks over to the table where Omnisaber, Moonlight and Blitzwing sit, and cordially nods to everyone present.
-Blitzwing is served a fresh tray of enerbeers. "Primus...I Think I need to tell Solar how much i love this place."
-Novastar looks up from the remnants of his first drink, eyeing the Autobot cautiously, and vaguely surprised to see him functional.
-Moonlight glances up at the Autobot and gives him a questioning quirk of the optic ridge. "Come to cause a disruption again, or do you just want to drink?"
-Omnisaber shakes his head and sighs, wondering if the next message he receives might be better news, looking up at noticing Steelwind, "...So...what brings you back here? If I may ask, and ask politely..."
-Steelwind looks at Moonlight and politely answers, "No. No disruptions." Turning to Omnisaber, he says, "Just wanted to talk, maybe."
-Moonlight grins at Steelwind. "Good. You gonna have a seat then?"
-Steelwind sits down at the table. He glances at Blitzwing quickly, but doesn't say anything. To nobody in particular, "What's recommended to drink?"
-Omnisaber says, "Whatever you'd like to drink...it's all probably ending up on my tab..."
-Novastar says, "Stay away from anything that's name is longer than it takes to drink..."
-Moonlight shrugs. "I always go for an enerwine...but that's just my preference."
-Steelwind grimaces. "Well. I figure enerbeer can't be messed up too badly..." Turning to Omnisaber, he says, "So, Zero...Omnisaber...what's new?"
-Blitzwing pawns over his tray of beer... figuring it better he ignore Steelwind's arrival then splatter him all over the wall.
-Omnisaber chuckles at STeelwind's question, "What's going on..? Well....plenty. Nothing to talk about though...you?"
-Novastar's face is serious as he watches Omnisaber listen to his radio, "You know Omnisaber, if those are important, this isn't the best place to do that from."
-Moonlight puts a hand on Blitzwing's arm as a gentle reminder to stay cool. She holds her drink in the other hand and sips at it from time to time.
-Omnisaber turns to Novastar smiling, "Yes it is...the transmissions are completely secure...and in any such event, it's idle chatter, the important bits coded inbetween the lines so to speak..."
-Steelwind hesitates momentarily, then goes on, figuring it doesn't matter here. "Bah...I just needed to get out of Iacon for a while, and nobody worthwhile is at the Blaster."
-Omnisaber grins, "Oh...there are a few worthwhile people at the Blaster...just nobody you know..."
-Novastar sighs, and drops the issue. Though he's pretty sure a completely secure transmission will be designed shortly after a Cybertronian who doesn't require fuel.
-Steelwind shrugs. "You're probably right. But anyways...I figured you'd be here."
-Moonlight winks at Steelwind. "Did you figure that /all/ of us would be here?"
-Omnisaber raises an optic ridge at Steelwind, "What would make you think I'd be here? I'm not supposed to be here..."
-Steelwind grimaces hearing Moonlight's comment. "I didn't think you wouldn't be. But whatever." He pauses, then adds it anyway, "At least I can be certain there's no other 'Bots here..."
-Novastar is just completely lost with Omnisaber at that point, and decides to focus on drinking.
-Blitzwing is still enjoying his beer(s). 3 2 1 1 2 3 what the heck is bothering me?
-Swivel peeks into the bar.... rather..... timidly. She's had bad experiences with Bars, this one in particular. Alright, maybe only one bad experience, and if anyone notices her slipping in quietly, looking around, they'd read her like a book. She's not a usual.
-Moonlight watches Blitzwing knock back drink after drink. "You really have a passion for that stuff, don't you fella?"
-Omnisaber gets up slowly, smiling to all the people sitting around him, "Umm....if you folks will excuse me for just a moment or three, I have to take care of some business quickly. Shouldn't be too long...keep my seat warm, and get me a drink while I'm gone..."
-Blitzwing continues chugging. If I dont look at him... I dont need to beat him. He Suddenly perks up. "Hey Swiv!"
-Novastar finishes off his first drink at long last, and watches Omnisaber with interest while he gets up. His inability to get a straight answer from the mech is startin to worry him...
-Moonlight glances over towards Swivel as Blitzwing perks up. She doesn't nod or wave, but there's a look of recognition in her optics. Shaking her head she moves away from Blitzwing to sit next to Novastar.
-Omnisaber walks backwards towards the door, facing the group, holding up a single finger, "Just give me a minute, honest..." deftly dodging a few patrons behind him, he spins around and walks right out...
-Steelwind perks up at hearing Blitzwing's greeting to Swivel. He turns around, sees her, and shakes his head..."Swivel!"
-Novastar says, "I REALLY don't trust that Mech..."
-Moonlight blinks her optics. "Who? Omnisaber?"
-Swivel freezes.... almost everyone in the room was recognizable... Frozen on the spot alright. She was hoping she was being... unconcspicuous. She almost doesn't notice Omni until he wlaks right by her, too late to stall him. Swivel shakes her head and waves. "Hello....?" she looks at Steelwind and Blitzwing in particular, and then at Moonlight as she gets up and moves to another table. Gee....
-Novastar nods. "I don't think I've heard exactly why he's joined up with us yet..."
-Blitzwing womps over to the table Swivel sits at. "you want a beer?"
-Moonlight shakes her head. "He hasn't exactly joined yet. He's waiting for the higher-ups to decide his fate actually."
-Novastar taps his fingers against the table a bit irritably. "Well, was he a former Bot or something? You think someone who's trying to get in would be polishing Shockwave's nameplate and getting a few sigils painted on.
-Moonlight shrugs. "You can't get the sigils /before/ you're a member silly."
-Steelwind stands up and goes to the table where Moonlight and Novastar are. "He wasn't a Bot..."
-Omnisaber returns, a large smile upon his face, and 3 datapads in hand, casually making his way back to the table, "Many apologies for that all of you...many many apologies..."
-Moonlight smiles at Omnisaber. "Not a problem."
-Steelwind walks over to Swivel and whispers something to her
-Steelwind mutters to Swivel: "what are you ... here?"
-Swivel takes a few steps in, but just stands at a table, declining the offer to sit quietly. She looks at Blitzwing. "Um... I don't know. Intoxicated mechs scare me, and I think I'd scare me in the same situation." her gaze slowly goes over to Omnisaber as he returns, then she stares straight at Steelwind. She was looking for him....
-Swivel looks at Steelwind and leans into him so she can talk quietly.
-Novastar is still erked. "Sorry, it's just I am in the defensive side of Combat Ops. He seems to have a lot going on the side for someone under the spotlight.."
-Moonlight pats Novastar's arm. "You need to relax a little and stop worrying so much. Worry can kill, you know."
-Swivel mutters to Steelwind: "... for ... What ... ... ... here ... ... ... ... I'm ... ... ... about ... heard a ... of amusing ... THAT's ... the point. What ... ... DOING?"
