August 20th, 2002, ~Whiplash(D), Dirge(D), Electra(D), Phantom(A), Ghost(D), Enfilade(D), Psykeout(D), Blitzwing(D) Darkmount - Elevator Shaft You step into the reinforced lift and note immediately the large Decepticon sigil etched into the back wall as a reminder to all of where they are and why they serve the great Empire. There is a control panel near the door for selection of your desired destination. Calenture [Robot] [D] Dirge [Robot] [D] Ghost [Robot] [A] Whiplash [Robot] [D] Electra [Robot] [D] Obvious Exits: -6- leads to Darkmount - Launch Platform -5- leads to Darkmount - Security Level -4- leads to Darkmount - Medical and Science Level -3- leads to Darkmount - Barracks -2- leads to Darkmount - Command Level -1- leads to Darkmount - Tunnel -Moonlight makes it into the elevator at the last minute. -Whiplash finds a place in the corner of the lift to wait for the others. She gives Moonlight a quick smile of greeting as she joins the tour group. -Moonlight nods back to Whiplash...and everyone else present. -Dirge looks curiously at the newest arrival as the femme enters the elevator. He gives Moonlight a cold glare in greeting, then surreptiously turns his back from her. -Electra waits for everyone to load up before tapping the console to allow for the descent to the tunnel leading to Darkmount's arena. She nods at Moonlight as she steps inside, and narrows her optics slightly at Dirge's reaction. Hmm, maybe another patrol until he runs out of fuel... -Ghost offers a smile as Moonlight steps in. -Calenture slides into the lift, twisting to make room for Enfilade as well as doing his best not to dent or ding anyone else. "Hmmm... Bit.. tight in here." -Enfilade doesnt' seem to mind being this close to Calenture. "Fancy that..." -Moonlight keeps her arms closely pinned at her side. "So, I miss anything spectacular? Sorry for my lateness by the way." -Whiplash wouldn't know quite how to answer Moonlight's question at this point. She tries to keep surreptitious watch on those around her. Everyone seems to have their hidden conflicts today. Whom to pay the most attention to? The curious trio of Enfilade/Calenture/Ghost? Psykeout and his occasonal flickers of instability? Moonlight vs Dirge? Electra, despite her dislike of these procedurs, seems the only one without a hidden agenda. -Calenture raises a hand to wave at Moonlight, visor brightening, "I would greet you more properly, Ma'am but.. as you see. It is a bit close in here for formalities." -Ghost is using every ounce of selfcontrol to not let out the grwol that is grwoing in her throat. Her mouth remains in the smile as her optics fight to keep from flashing anger. After all, it's not a good thing to start an all out brawl in the middle of an elevator with this many people in it. -The lift begins it's descent down to the arena level, and Electra glances over at Moonlight. "Not much... just me being one slagheap of a tour guide. Consider yourself lucky." The lift slows to a stop a few moments later, and the doorway slides open for everyone to exit, with the Mectech CO in the lead once again. -Squashing himself into a corner, Dirge notes Electra's narrowed optics, and frowns deeply at the current tour guide. What was that femme planning on doing to him *now*? he wondered to himself. He shuffles his feet uncomfortably in his spot and squashes himself further into the corner. Darkmount - Tunnel This underground tunnel is still very rough, seemingly left as it was carved out, not important enough to finish off. The blast marks of the plasma torches used to dig this place are still evident all around you on the bare surfaces of the metal heart of this dark mountain. There's a walkway leading up to the lift which looks like it's been cut out by the original workers, but the smoothed over path on the floor leading towards the Arena has been worn into the mountain by the legions of past and present Decepticons who have come and continue to come test their skills in the vast proving grounds as they have done for millennia. Off towards a darkened corner, there appears to be a small crack in the wall towards the cavern of the Arena. If you examine it more closely, you'll almost feel a draft coming from the opening, but it's impossible to see where the crack may lead and if you venture in, you might get stuck. Obvious Exits: -N- North leads to Darkmount - Elevator Shaft -S- South leads to Tunnel -E- East leads to Darkmount - Arena -Electra walks east towards the arena... not one of her favorite places, admittedly. "The arena has been upgraded to some degree as well," she notes as she enters the arena proper. -Moonlight comes out of the elevator and shakes her arms with the sudden amount of space she now has. Darkmount - Arena You believed the barracks to be the largest cavern until you pass into the Decepticon Empire's training arena. The platform stretches before you for only a few more meters before dropping off into the seemingly bottomless cavern. Intensely lighted, the cavern stretches for miles and has been unaltered in appearance. It has a general diamond shape and there are numerous natural formations of rock and outcroppings, ideal for practicing both ground and aerial combat maneuvers. The bare rock of the native planetscape is mostly open space except for the huge holoprojection tower in the center of the field. Hordes of combat drones line one wall, ready for one-on-one fighting, or to take you through the rock formations in a test of skill. Above the grounds is devoted to a high-altitude aerial obstacle course that tests the skill and resolve of the Decepticons to the utmost. A small stairway and massive blast door lead to a covered area for safe observation of training exercises. Calenture [Robot] [D] Dirge [Robot] [D] Ghost [Robot] [A] Whiplash [Robot] [D] Electra [Robot] [D] Health Restorer Obvious Exits: -W- West leads to Darkmount - Tunnel -Calenture stops as he enters the arena, letting alow whistle out, "Now *this* is something...." -Whiplash's tentacles slow their pace into more steady, sinuous undulations as she steps back into a realm that's very familiar to her. Pausing a moment in appreciation, she looks around the vast chamber -Moonlight just nods her head. "Nice," is her only comment. -Electra shrugs. "I'm sure the rest of the Empire will get a lot of use out of it," she replies quietly. -Ghost looks around, feigning interest, but plotting ways to make the pretty-mech suffer at his own hand. -Dirge steps into the arena, keeping a clear distance between him and Moonlight. He swivels his head around, looking quite impressed at the sight. He leaves the rest of the group and takes a step forward to peer closer at things. -Calenture nods, "Failsafes the old field generators? Hate to accadentally get the finish scratched." -Whiplash steps out a little further toward the center, drawing her battle blade, which she spins around in her grip almost absently, letting the overhead lights flash of its mirrored surface. Catching the word "failsafes," she scowls slightly, but the expression quickly passes. She glances back toward Ghost, flashing a grin with a glint of sharp fangs. "You still owe me a round in the arena, remember?" -Electra nods. "Everything is set up so that simulated battles won't result in actual injury. I used some of the technology I gleaned from that holo-emitter Solar and I got on Monacus several months ago and translated it over to forcefield technology to better protect the combatants." -Psykeout steps out of the Tunnel, his optics flickering slightly. An ener-cig hangs out of the corner of his mouth, his hands clasped behind his back. He looks...distracted, really. -Moonlight smirks slightly at the mention of Monacus...lots of good things come from there after all. -Dirge listens in to the various conversations happening around him, as he steps back towards the group. -Ghost turns, holding up a hand, "Not this cycle." He moves her hand to her shoulder, rotating the rotater and rubbing it. "It wouldn't be a full spar. Perhaps when I find the time to get it repaired." -Blitzwing makes his usual entrance... stomp, stomp, thud. He then glares at Psykeout, before waving to everone else. "Greetins' all." -Whiplash puts away her blade, with only a hint of disappointment. "I was thinking more the Karkas Arena anyway. But, you gotta admit, it would make a nice touch to the re-opening of the base." -Moonlight waves a hand towards Blitzwing and flashes him a grin, for no immeadiately apparent reason. -Whiplash shrugs. "Wouldn't want to take unfair advantage or anything, though." -Calenture's visor flashes, "Hmm.. I agree, a match between one of the famous gladiators of old and.." He turns, peering at Ghost, "The Grey lady." -Over his shoulder, Dirge nods once at Blitzwing. -Psykeout raises an optic ridge, but continues to seem distracted. The presence of Blitzwing brings a small smile to the corner of his mouth, but nothing more. -Calenture finishes, "Would be a rather nice gesture. I should think we all would enjoy such a treat." -Over his shoulder, Dirge nods once at Blitzwing. -Ghost nods and gives a faint shrug, "Perhaps some of our superior aerial warriors would do the honors. -Whiplash tilts her head, her optics brightening again. "Welll ... I always told Ghost, if she couldn't thrash me in the arena, something's seriously wrong with our leadership. Even with a bit of damage. And ... I guess we got those damn failsafes in place. So, what do you say?" -Electra shakes her head, stepping aside. Thank Primus they didn't ask her... -Calenture chuckles, peering at Ghost as he dips into a bow, "One of the superior aerial elite should do the honors.. And whom else graces the skies with such class as the famed intelligence operative?" -Moonlight makes a face, she isn't /that/ fond of watching people beat the fluid out of each other, even if it is all fake. She remembers it being brought up in conversation at the Blaster though, so it doesn't seem that odd of an idea. Just another difference between her and many other Cons... -Dirge looks at Ghost with faint amusement, wondering why a Con is refusing a duel guaranteed not to cause any lasting injuries to the combatants. He smirks to himself. -Blitzwing takes out his sword, and twirls it gleefully. "Do I gets to lay s hurtin on someone? Psyke*cough*out*cough." he then points to his sword "It slices...It dices..." -Moonlight raises a hand. "I'm passing on all this fighty type stuff. I don't fight well and I don't do well with shame anyhow. 'Specially in front of so many people." -Psykeout moves to a more shadowed area, the ember of his ener-cig making his face glow softly. He looks over to Blitzwing, as his optics flicker slightly. No comment emerges from the mech, as he kneels down upon a single knee. -Blitzwing says, "I hope your not trying to court me you wacko." -Whiplash says, "Now, if *I* were calling match-ups," she muses, "I'd set Moonlight against Psykeout, 'cause they could learn something from each other. Blitz against Dirge ... and ..." she regards Calenture speculatively. "Haven't seen you fight, fella. Can't say for sure yet." -Ghost gives a tilt of her head, "We wouldn't want to destroy your image of the command structure due to a faulty rotator, now would we." She says this in a pleasant yet definate tone. "As I said, perhaps when it's repaired." -Psykeout chuckles softly, his optics flickering. "I'd be more than happy to fix that rotator, Ghost. It'd be a pleasure to work on the legend known as Ghost." -Electra shakes her head. "I'll pass," she says, holding up her hands. "I'm a weakling and I know it... probably will always be one. No sense in letting everyone see it." -Whiplash sighs a little, but she's not likely to argue with Ghost for long. She glances instead to Electra and suggests, "We *could* work on that sometime, you know." -Moonlight nods her head. "Whiplash is so kind, always offering to teach us all how to defend herself. You should take her up on her offer." -Dirge looks behind him and to Blitzwing and Psykeout, with a raised optic ridge. He then turns to Whiplash as his name is mentioned, and replies with dark humor, "It appears that Blitzwing is more intent on Psykeout than I." He turns his body fully towards Blitzwing and says to the triple changer, "But if Blitzwing wouldn't mind..." He smirks at Blitzwing. -Calenture waves a hand, "Records should be transferred over as soon as the mainframe can accept out of system data dumps." He brushes at his immaculate finish, "Besides, most tend to accuse me of being all show." Another soft chuckle comes from the slightly prissy seeker. -Blitzwing looks to Dirge then Psykeout. "Whoever wants to go first. I'm an equal oppertunity aft whooper." -Electra hmphs. "Not likely... the only way I'll have a chance at matching you combat types is by staying hidden away in a lab where I can build the new weapons and technologies. I doubt the Empire would bother springing for me getting upgraded any time in the near future, anyway." -Whiplash realizes this isn't the time to belabor a point. But she files an idea away for future discussion, and circles back toward the edge of the arena. "Looks like Blits wants to do some demonstration, anyway." She's disappointed at not getting her match-up with Ghost, but is alright with being a spectator as well. -Ghost perks up at the mention of the database. Looking to Electra, she asks "How is the mainframe comming along? All fixed up I hope. -Moonlight taps her chest. "I'm not a fighter type either." Then she taps her head. "Sometimes fighting is in the know-how and not always the weapons and armor. You're pretty smart, and sometimes the oddest things can make the winning weapon in a fight. I know this because most of my fights took place inside a bar where most 'normal' weapons were usually taken away at the front." -Electra glances at Ghost and nods. "Repaired and improved with better security precautions... which I think for now I'll remain silent on. Too many around for me to just blab off." -Ghost turns to Psykeout, "While I appreciate the offer, I think I should go do my own check of the mainframe before I subject myself to any type of self gratifying repairs. Besides, it's nothing. I'd just prefer to not have Whiplash lose faith in the Empire." -Moonlight glances over at Ghost. "I think I missed /that/ part of the tour..." -Blitzwing plants his sword in to the ground, rolls out his neck and clenches his fists. "I'm fair Dirge, You wish to add some sort of stipulation to level this here playing field?" -Electra shakes her head at Moonlight. "The Command Level was the final stop." -Moonlight ohs. "So I didn't miss it. Goodie." She flashes a grin. -Dirge gives Psykeout a questioning glance. Rather, he is glancing at the glowing end of Psykeout's energ-cig. He turns back to Blitzwing and says, "It has been a while since I last duelled with a triple changer. I want to see if you are really *that* deadly." Dirge takes a step towards Blitzwing, his optics appraising the sword calmly. He replies, "Only one." Dirge allows a small smile to break on his face. "I have your sword if you lose." -Whiplash shakes her head. "Me, lose faith in the empire. Come on." She seems more amused by this thought than irritated, though. -Calenture's gaze tracks over to Ghost as he studies her in a sideways glance sort of way... -Moonlight taps her foot impatiently on the floor. "For those of you who are battle inclined, this might be very awe-inspiring for you, but if there's more to this tour I would like to see the rest of it." -Blitzwing points to the small robot head. "Let's make um even stakes then" -Psykeout comes out of the shadows, moving towards Ghost. "I doubt they are self-gratifying repairs, as Whiplash has offered a friendly challenge. One you have agreed to in the past. Your only reasoning, is that you are in need of repairs." He gnaws on the filter for a moment, then continues, "The repairs would only take a mere moment." -Whiplash strolls over and finds a place to watch from, coincidentally between Ghost and Calenture. "Watch and learn, Moonlight," she says. "This could be good." -Dirge laughs once at Blitzwing, then nods in agreement. "Fine, I accept." He gestures towards the arena main. "Now, won't you join me?" -Ghost thanks her lucky stars that Moonlight is helping her in her plight to get the hell outta here. Still smiling to Psykeout, she shakes her head, "Perhaps after the tour." she once again pulls out that definate voice. -Whiplash is of course still secretly hoping to get in her battle with Ghost after all, but for now she seems content to honor the prior claim of Dirge and Blitzwing to the fighting grounds. -Moonlight shakes her head. "No thanks. If I want to be amused I'll get tanked up to my audials." She looks back to Ghost. "Why don't we continue a tour of our own if everyone wants to sit here and 'play' fight when there's enough real fighting going on to last a lifetime?" -Psykeout narrows his optics, "It seems that our tour is almost done, Ghost. It would only take a moment, and..." He motions over to Whiplash, "It would make our local MedusaSaur quite happy to battle with you." He smiles faintly, passing a momentary glance to Whiplash. -Blitzwing appears to pat Psykeout on the back, but in actuallaty it was closer to a slap. "Atta boy. Always pleasin the femmes." -Psykeout emits a snarl, eyeing Blitzwing. -Moonlight shoots an odd look at Blitzwing for his last comment, then turns expectantly back to Ghost. -Ghost mentally sighs, adding another point of respect or at least thanks to Moonlight's total. Shaking her head while giving no other answer to Psykeout, she looks to Moonlight. "That would be nice." -Blitzwing gets into a fighting stance, "Let's go. Weapons or No weapons Dirge?" -Whiplash gives Psykeout a look of faint surprise, even the trace of a smile, but then says, "It's okay, Psyke. It's Ghost's call. But I'll keep bugging her about it." -Psykeout nods a single time, before casting another momentary glance to Ghost. Something doesn't sit right within the medic's neural circutry, but he says nothing. Slinking back in the shadows, he watches the battle intently. -Moonlight nods her head. "Then let's go." -Whiplash realizes Enfilade has gone off somewhere as well - maybe to write real speech. She assumes those who have no interest in witnessing the combat will go tend to their own areas of expertise, but for her part she's very intersted now in the upcoming events down here in the arena. -Ghost smiles, excuses herself from watching the battle, and looks to Moonlight, "Lets." He makes for the doors, and once again into the history books. -Moonlight heads out with Ghost, not being as suspicious as some of the other members of her faction. Ghost [Robot] [A] Obvious Exits: -N- North leads to Darkmount - Elevator Shaft -S- South leads to Tunnel -E- East leads to Darkmount - Arena -Moonlight walks away from the area with a slight sound of derision. "So, where do you want to head first?" -Ghost walks out, looking around with much interest. Not saying where she'd really like to go, she shrugs, "Command Level?" -Moonlight takes off her hat and puts it away. "Yeah, sure. I don't hang around here much anyhow as you might have noticed, so I'm pretty indifferent." -Ghost smiles, trying to sound casual as she asks, "So does that mean you don't much about this Calenture fellow?" -Moonlight wriggles her hand back and forth in a 'so-so' gesture. "'Lash and I met him in Crystal City. I was in a funk and 'Lash was helping me back out of it by being the good listener that she is. Then this Cal fellow comes along. His pass checked out okay. Didn't learn much else." -Ghost nods, pressing the button for the elevator. -Moonlight waits for the elevator to arrive and open and steps inside where she waits for Ghost. Darkmount - Elevator Shaft You step into the reinforced lift and note immediately the large Decepticon sigil etched into the back wall as a reminder to all of where they are and why they serve the great Empire. There is a control panel near the door for selection of your desired destination. Ghost [Robot] [A] Obvious Exits: -6- leads to Darkmount - Launch Platform -5- leads to Darkmount - Security Level -4- leads to Darkmount - Medical and Science Level -3- leads to Darkmount - Barracks -2- leads to Darkmount - Command Level -1- leads to Darkmount - Tunnel -Moonlight humms a bit as the elevator moves. -Ghost walks in and presses the button for the command level. As the lift starts to rise, she turns to Moonlight, "So, him and the Field Commander are rather close now?" -Moonlight blinks her optics. "I don't know. This is the first time I've seen them like this. I don't keep up on the gossip...unless I'm the subject of course." -Ghost nods thoughtfully. She remains silent for a few moments, then shrugs, "Well, it's none of my concern." -Moonlight shrugs. "I thought I heard some talk about you not liking your Cons seeing unaffils. Something to do with a Brawl way back when." -Ghost responds icely, "I don't. Which is why I'm concerned for her. She seems to be picking up the worst possible mechs. We can see the last example for my reasoning for concern." -Moonlight smiles slightly to herself with a secret that isn't exactly a secret, but the real secret is that she doesn't have a secret from the person who shares the elevator with. "Yeah, I guess so." She shrugs as the elevator stops at its destination. Darkmount - Command Center Before you lies the heart and soul of the Decepticon empire. You find yourself standing on a wide walkway spanning a three-quarter circle overlooking the 100 foot deep command center. The central stairs are just to your right and descend through three levels of sensor monitor stations. The entire height and length of the wall in front of you is covered with massive sensor viewers relaying information from the Tower Outpost Communication Center to Darkmount so that Decepticon leaders may survey their holdings without moving very far from the tools of power at their disposal. In the first work level below you are various computer terminals available for the officers to review logs of troop reports while the lower two levels are strictly dedicated to sensor monitoring and are constantly manned. In the pit of the room, various holomaps display the information interpolated from the sensor inputs that the currently assigned duty officer is constantly updating. Ghost [Robot] [A] Obvious Exits: -N- North leads to Darkmount - Command Level -Ghost steps off the lift and heads to the computer system. Looking at the interface for a moment, she begins typing in some commands, putting Moonlight out of her mind for the moment. -Moonlight looks around as she steps out. She doesn't seem to be paying much attention to Ghost at the moment, but instead looks at the statues of all the heroes for a moment. Then she walks into the main Command Center where she comments, "You know, I don't think I've ever been in here before..." -Ghost looks about for a few minutes. On the inside, she remembers what this place looked like before a mission by the Autobots that destroyed most of it. Now, it's been completely rebuilt. Not something she's too pleased with. Turning to look at Moonlight, she takes a few steps towards her. "So, you won't be looked for here any time soon, will you?" -Moonlight folds her arms. "Now that's an odd question to ask a /fellow/ Decepticon, now isn't it? I hope this isn't because of that attack on Phalanx so long ago...but that wouldn't make since because we've talked since then. And it couldn't be because of Dirge either for the same reason." She looks right at Ghost's optics. "So why don't you tell me what's wrong here?" -Ghost's optics flash red, a color not normally seen in the femme. Her optics are purple, and thusly red wouldn't be a natural color for a flash of anger. In her hand, a weapon materializes. She shakes her head. Her voice is filled with sorrow, "I'm sorry about this." -Moonlight rapidly moves into a crouch. "I'm sorry I mouthed off at Solar. I was really only trying to help..." -Ghost shrugs, "Punishment is punishment. Sorry doesn't cut it" she says quickly. Lowering the weapon so as not to harm any major internals, she pulls the trigger, knowing that it's set to stun. -Moonlight sighs and eyes the weapon. "I suppose I should just take the punishment and start out with a clean slate." She shuts her optics, waits for the blast, and falls when it hits her. -Ghost quickly shoves the weapon back into subspace, and returns to the computer, tapping in a few commands, sending the information contained to an unknown location. -Moonlight just lies still, hoping that the loss of movement is the worse she suffers tonight. She keeps her optics shut, hoping that Ghost will now ignore her. Then she'll wait for Ghost to leave and creep back to her room. -Ghost finishes the data transfer, and turns to Moonlight. She then turns towards the door and runs out. -Moonlight lies still for a moment longer...this might be some sort of test after all, and failing could be disasterous. Darkmount Computer reports, "Intruder alert! Intruder alert!" Lots of lights start flashing and sirens go off. "Intruder alert! Intruder alert!" -Moonlight hopes that the intruder doesn't make it this far...she can't exactly move at the moment, which is uncomfortable because she fell on something that someone must have dropped on the floor. Such carelessness. Captain Psykeout SNARLS. "Who the hell is in Darkmount?! Whiplash says, "Lower level's clear! Anyone got a fix on the intruder?" Lieutenant Moonlight is very silent at the moment. Captain Psykeout says, "Medical Level is clear." -Psykeout eyes Moonlight. "What the hell is going on?" 2nd Lieutenant Blitzwing says, "Launch platform is all clear." Dirge says, "Barracks is clear." -Moonlight is lying on the ground in a very uncomfortable position. All she can do right now is eye Psykeout back. Solar says, "Good hold those positions and don't let anything through" Captain Psykeout says, "Moonlight has been damaged. Command Center area." Captain Psykeout says, "The last one seen with Moonlight was Ghost. That was when I left the Arena. Request orders." Solar says, "Psykeout get her to mebday, but let me check that level first" -Moonlight doesn't seem to be damaged from a blast, but more the awkward fall. She /has/ however been stunned. Captain Psykeout says, "Medical level is clear." -Whiplash leaps into the command center, jaws gaping as though wanting to snap shut on an enemy - one she does not see. Dirge says, "Affirmative, remaining at barracks." -Psykeout turns on his heel, "I shall transport her to Medical bay, taking care of the repairs. Find that damned intruder." -Looks around for a second, before the legs suddenly disappear. His arms are pressed beside his body, and suddenly become a part of the frame of the Med Unit. His head falls into the grill of his Unit, and the halves come together. Ready to roll, the Mobile Med Unit revs before you. -Whiplash says, "I'll check the security level." Whiplash entrusts Moonlight to the others, knowing she can't help with a medical situation anyway. -Psykeout backs up to Moonlight, some sort of loading tool coming out of his opened rear. Moving down to the fallen Decepticon, he attempts to load her into the back of himself. -Moonlight feels herself get lifted into the back of Psykeout. She doesn't struggle...she can't at the moment. Psykeout(#2308POVentACF) A blackened van of transport, not a single identifying mark can be seen upon this vehicle. Not a single scratch is upon it's body. Not a single chipped piece of paint. Not anything that distinguishes it from the rest of the travellers on Cybertron. There is an obvious entrance on the back of the van, as the blackened doors seem to open to allow the ability to enter inside. Contents: Skullcruncher Captain Psykeout says, "Looks like the Med Bay has it's first occupant, Whiplash. Any luck on finding the intruder?" Darkmount - Repair Bay Much like the adjacent research lab, the equipment here is showing signs of age, but is kept in a serviceable condition. Two automated repair drones lie against the far wall, though each is obviously missing a few parts...apparently they've been salvaged for someone else's benefit. The once well-stocked parts closets now contain mostly empty shelves and bins. Several dozen repair tables of various sizes are arranged in rows in the middle of the room. Psykeout [Mobile Med Unit] [D] Dartboard Medical Terminal Obvious Exits: -S- South leads to Darkmount - Regeneration Spa -E- East leads to Darkmount - Medical and Science Level -W- West leads to Darkmount - Cryochamber -Psykeout unloads Moonlight carefully, hoping not to damage her any further. Solar says, "All units report in Loacation and status" Captain Psykeout says, "Currently in the Repair Bay with Moonlight, Solar." 2nd Lieutenant Blitzwing says, "I'm looking at a whole lot of nothing." Whiplash says, "Nothing in the Security Level either. Anyone seen Ghost?" Solar says, "Ghost report in" -Moonlight twitches a finger, showing that the stun is slowly wearing off. Whiplash says, "(growls in frustration) See if you can get some answers outta Moonlight, Psyke. I hope nothing happened to Ghost." Captain Psykeout says, "Understood, Whiplash. I was planning on that. *long pause* I hope not either...I really hope not." Solar says, "Whiplash meet me in the meeting room on Command level" Whiplash says, "Any view from the launch platform? Any evidence of damage or things stolen?" Whiplash says, "Be right there, Solar." Dirge says, "Moonlight would be evidence of damage." Whiplash says, "Well ... yeah. I mean equipment, too." 2nd Lieutenant Blitzwing says, "Nothing unusual" -Psykeout leans down, picking up the Decepticon Femme. Looking into her optics for a moment, a soft snarl emits from his lips. He places her on the table, scanning her silently. -Moonlight turns her head to the side and groans. The rest of her still seems to be immobile. She's dented in her side where she landed on something rather uncomfortably, but the only evidence of attack is the blast from the stun. Solar says, "Blitzwing stop all traffic both in and out bound" 2nd Lieutenant Blitzwing says, "im personally firing on anything that moves. will that suffice?" -Psykeout narrows his optics at the dent, then he looks into Moonlight's optics. Psyke cocks his head to the side, almost sympathetic to the femme's situation. "Moonlight. Are you able to speak?" -Moonlight tries to speak, but at first can only cough and groan. Her fingers start twitching a bit, then she says one word, "Ghost..." -Psykeout shoots up an optic ridge, "What about her? What about Ghost?" His voice becomes more rapid. His optics flicker slightly, as he listens intently. -Moonlight groans again, more out of annoyance than pain this time. "She shot me." -Psykeout snarls audibly. Captain Psykeout says, "Dec...Decepticons. I...I have...I have recieved information." -Moonlight tries to sit up, but feels a bit dizzy and lays back down again. Solar says, "Relay the information Psykeout, something tells me I already know the answer" Whiplash says, "Did you find out what happened to Ghost? And, how bad is Moonlight hurt?" Captain Psykeout says, "I-It seems that it...it was Ghost wh-who attacked Moonlight. What the frag is going on? WHAT THE HELL? PRIMUS DAMMIT....*radio clicks off*" Dirge says, "No wonder that femme was acting strangely." -Moonlight sighs. "I didn't know that punishment around here was such a big deal..." 2nd Lieutenant Blitzwing says, "WHAT?" -Psykeout looks down to Moonlight, putting his hands on each of her shoulders. Pushing her back down gently, he looks into her optics. "Stay down. I want to make sure that the attack didn't harm you too badly." His voice is still a bit frustrated, but he tries to remain calm. Both for his own sanity, as well as Moonlight's safety. -Moonlight nods. "They always say that in the repair bay the medic is the boss." -Psykeout says, "Punishment? What...What did you do to get an attack from Ghost? Sh-She is one of the most respected Decepticons..." He drifts off as a sudden thought crosses his mind. What if..." Dirge says, "Someone better check on Psykeout as well." 2nd Lieutenant Blitzwing says, "May I leave this post and head to the command center?" -Moonlight nods her head. "She said something a little odd. I had made a comment that I didn't think I had ever been in the Command Center before. She then asked if it was unlikely that anyone would look for me there any time soon. Then she pulled out a gun. I thought I was being punished for mouthing off Solar that time that you...well, that's not important. I tried to apologize, but she stunned me. I just lay there and hoped that she wouldn't do worse. A few moments later she ran off." Her legs twitch a bit now too. Solar says, "Affirmitive Blitzwing, do some flybys and look for anything unusual. Psykeout ask Moonlight what exactly was Ghost doing in the Command Center" Dirge says, "Permission to also leave post." Lieutenant Moonlight says, "If you have a question, go ahead and ask. I was stunned, not rendered deaf and stupid. *she sounds a bit cranky*" Solar says, "Affirmitive" -Psykeout's optics widen, "Ghost wouldn't punish you for something like that. Last time I saw her, she was...talking about being on a recon mission." He pauses for a moment, his optics flickering rapidly, "It's not like her to not want to fight Whiplash. They had talked about it before." Psykeout rubs his chin carefully, "Something doesn't quite add up here." He looks down to Moonlight, "Do you want me to take care of that dent?" -Solar comes in and walks straight up to the Med table that holds Moonlight "I have a few questions for you Moonlight, and I want as complete answers as you can make alright" If at any time you become tired or the pain becomes too much I'll back off okay?" -Moonlight nods her head. "Yeah. It's hard to dance with a dent like that. Besides, it's uncomfortable." She smiles slightly. "Yeah, I remember the conversation at the Blaster about them fighting. It sounded like a confirmed thing. But is it so odd to avoid fighting if you're not in top shape?" Moonlight turns to face Solar. "Go ahead. And I'm sorry I haven't been behaving myself lately." -Solar says, "Was Ghost acting in any way strangely? Doing anything you considered not normal for her? I know as an intell operative your a trained observer so give me your best assessment" -Looks like the tour group is gathering together again, but this time for less pleasant reasons. Whiplash leaps up onto one of the med tables near Moonlight, from where she can get a good look at her. -Solar strikes the middle ring. -Dirge strides into the room, behind Lash and Blitzwing, looking rather worried. He furrows his optic ridges at the sight of Moonlight on the table, then gazes around at the other gathered Cons. -Psykeout stares at Moonlight and nods a single time. "It shall only take a second." He moves to work on it, his optics flickering rapidly. "Ghost refusing to fight, when she only has cosmetic damage, is something that strikes me as strange." He pulls out a small mallet, beginning the first of the work to get the dent out. He turns around to face Solar, his optics widening, "Strange? Primus, Solar. She refused a fight with Whiplash. Did you see how she was acting around the stranger? Something doesn't add up here." He snarls softly, returning to his work on Moonlight. -Moonlight considers the question. "I find it really odd when someone from my own faction advances on me and asks whether or not anyone will be looking for me soon. Then she pulled a weapon on me. I assumed that she was teaching me a lesson or something..." -Blitzwing says, "What needs to be killed?" -Solar says, "Was she trying to access the mainframe? Is that what set off the intruder alarm?" -Whiplash shakes her head a little, as though to clear her whirling thoughts. "All I noticed was that there were all these strange looks between Enfilade, Ghost, and that new fella." -Moonlight shrugs. "She was playing with the computer long before the alarm went off. I must admit that I wasn't paying too much attention...why would I be so suspicious of one of my own leader types." -Psykeout puts the finishing touches on Moonlight's dent, making the wound look as if it was never there. He turns from his finished project, snarling softly. "Why would Ghost want to access the mainframe? I understand that she has her own reasons, but..." He drifts off for a moment, looking over to Whiplash. "Wait a damn second..." Raising an optic ridge, "...I wonder..." Shaking his head, his optics continue to flicker rapidly. Psyke lights an ener-cig, trying to figure out the mystery. -Solar suddenly smiles and nods "She was PLAYING with it, so basically just typing on one of the terminals up there? -Moonlight nods her head and gives Solar and odd look. "Yeah, she was typing things. How else do you work a computer?" -Dirge looks at Psykeout, then at Solar. "And?" he asked. -Whiplash says, "Well, it *is* her home territory, so to speak. She'd have wanted to make sure it was up and running properly. In normal circumstances, I mean." -Solar says, "Then it wasn't Ghost. Ghost is in charge of the Darkmount Mainframe, she totally immerses herself into circuitry, she never uses the terminals. She doesn't have to" -Psykeout snaps his attention to Solar, "If it wasn't Ghost....then..." His optics FLARE a violent crimson, "Phantom?" -Whiplash bares her fangs and rumbles a snarl at the sound of the name. -Dirge frowns deeply at Solar's words. He feels very uneasy about the new developments in Darkmount and his optics flicker sharply into a dark crimson. -Solar says, "He's there top operative in disguise tactics. He fooled Enfilade for megacycles" -Moonlight blinks. "That is just odd." She shrugs and shakes her head. "But if she wasn't Ghost, and she was an enemy, why didn't she just finish me off? Why did she seem like she didn't really want to shoot me. She said 'Punishment is Punishment.' And if it was Phantom...why wouldn't he just shoot me?" -Blitzwing draws his sword "I believe a Seek and destroy operation is in order" -Solar says, "The alarm went off, he needed to get out before he was discoverd" -Whiplash says, "I'm all for that. But someone's gotta check for damages and maybe sweep for bombs too. I'll be damned if the new base comes crashing down around us again." -Moonlight makes a face. "The shot was only a stun though...don't all Autobots want to kill us all?" -Psykeout nods, a sneer crossing his face, "If he can fool our Field Commander, what's to say he couldn't find the story on Ghost? It's not as if she isn't well known or anything." He turns his attention to Moonlight, "Same reason I didn't kill Swivel for so long. But...things have changed." Looking to Whiplash, "I shall search the base. I haven't been here before, so I'll search every corner. I'd...I'd like to find out what my new home looks like." -Dirge remarks softly in sardonic tones, "A grand opening ceremony, in more ways than one." He gives Psykeout a curious look for a moment. -Solar says, "Any weapon shot in the Command Center sets off the alarms. If he killed you he knew the hunt would be permananent. The mech has a good thought process" -Moonlight snaps her fingers. "Aha!" Then she looks around to see who is all with her. "Er...um...never mind." She puts on an innocent face. -Whiplash meets Psykeout's optics for a moment, then nods to him. -Psykeout stares into Whiplash's optics, a faint smile crossing the lips of the medic. "Whatever is required for the Empire." He casts a momentary glance to Moonlight, "You going to survive, Moonlight?" Psykeout's voice is more irritated than angry at this point. -Moonlight looks herself over and waves a hand of dismissal. "Sure I am. Unless you've done something odd to me, which I doubt you would, but your sense of humour /is/ a little dark..." -Solar says, "I want optic scanners put into all entrances and exits to Darkmount. If I could I would set up neural net scanners but that takes too long. Psykeout when you have time make sure all the optical patterns of our operatives are in the mainframe. Blitzwing is right, a search and destroy mission is called for" -Psykeout looks to Solar, raising an optic ridge, "I am cleared for duty? I don't need a psychological scan?" -Psykeout looks down to Moonlight, "Right now, I am not in the mood for jokes. This is the second time that Phantom has fragged with the Decepticons, if it is truly him." He looks over to -Blitzwing, his optics still a burning crimson, "If you find him...I want to rip out his optics." -Solar says, "Think of yourself as being on parole, right now I need active medics" -Whiplash grumbles, "Let's face it, if our infiltrator was Phantom - or any other Autobot, for that matter - they're long gone by now. Probably crawled back to Iacon to hide behind their new defense guns." -Dirge smirks a little and says, "Time to wipe Iacon off Cybertronian maps." -Moonlight makes a face. "Why are all of you so mad? /I'm/ the one who got shot. Doesn't that mean anything to you?" -Blitzwing nods to Moonlight "It means I get to kill someone, If I'm lucky, several someones." -Whiplash gives Moonlight an almost baffled look. "Why do you think we want to kill this creep? Among other reasons." -Psykeout snaps his attention to Moonlight, "*I* am mad, because it is a fraggin' slap in the face. For many vorn, I have placed much respect in Ghost. If this is truly a disguise, which it seems to be, it means that Ghost wasn't here. Which is...disturbing." He looks over to -Whiplash, "I would think that Ghost would want to be present for the re-opening of Darkmount." -Solar says, "We're a family you mess with our little sisters and the Big Brothers come out to play" -Moonlight arches an optic ridge. "Because I'm not going to have a crack at his face with all you experts going after him. I just get to sit here and celebrate that /you/ guys can tackle whoever shot me so that I could sit there idly while they tap into the computer..." -Solar says, "Last I heard Ghost was off planet" -Whiplash says, "Oh? Not like I'm up on the latest Intel happenings." Whiplash says, "I'm almost surprised - well, I shouldn't be. But I'm almost surprised Shockwave wasn't here for it." Whiplash says, "However grumpy Electra wants to be, she deserves a commendation for all she's done here." -Moonlight stands up to see how well she feels, stretching out her arms and patting the side that Psykeout has just patched up. "I'm so glad you guys found me when you did...or else I would have been really sore." -Blitzwing walks towards the oor "Doing another scan of the area, I'll radio if i find anything." -Solar smacks his forehead "Oh Smeg, I need a computer expert. Untill I can prove otherwise I have to assume the Decepticon mainframe at Darkmount has been compromised. There may be a virus. If you have any reports to make, do them from Polyhex, the Conquest, or another location" Solar says, "FIND ME PHANTOM!!!" -Whiplash growls softly to herself at the thought of the breached security. "I'll go out hunting. But like I said, I bet he's long gone." She drops down from the repair table and touches down with only a light click of her claws against the floor, to slink toward the door. -Moonlight waves bye-bye to Whiplash. -Dirge watches as the others head towards the elevator, then also makes his way out. Lieutenant Moonlight says, "Anything I can or should do?" Solar says, "Moonlight when your cleared from here go to the Intell HQ and lock down the mainframe there. Lash hold on and I'll go with ya" Dirge says, "I will be heading to Crystal City and scanning the area around there." Captain Psykeout says, "*radio clicks on* Command level clear." Captain Psykeout says, "Barraks level clear, unless there's a bomb hidden in one of the barracks. *snarl*" Captain Psykeout says, "As far as I can tell, Darkmount is clear of any bombs or such." Lieutenant Moonlight says, "I sure hope not...that's where I plan to spend a bit of time." Whiplash says, "I'll wait for you out in the Wastelands, Solar." Lieutenant Moonlight says, "Should I stay inside for a bit, or am I in good enough to leave Psykeout?" Captain Psykeout says, "If you feel well enough to leave, then do so. I cannot hold you against your will." Lieutenant Moonlight says, "I'm just relying on your medical advice. I feel okay, but that doesn't always mean I /am/ okay. But if you think I'm fine then I might as well go do what I've been told...for once." Captain Psykeout says, "Do as you wish, Moonlight. I have more on my mind than your current medical state." Lieutenant Moonlight says, "Very well." Wastelands While many places on Cybertron have fallen into ruin and emptiness, few have approached this level of emptiness. Silicon deposits from the south taper into a large expanse of plated steel. There is little else to appeal to the optic, except for the distant moutains on the western horizon, and the daunting tower of Darkmount looming nearby. Solar [Robot] [D] Trius's Base Obvious Exits: -U- Up leads to Sky Above Wastelands -S- South leads to Bismuth Causeway -W- West leads to Gates to Tarn -N- North leads to Wastelands -Moonlight walks through on her way to Dead End. -Solar nods from his post against a spire -Moonlight nods back. "Anything interesting out here yet?" -Solar shakes his head "Unfortunately No" -Moonlight sighs. "Well, I'm sure we'll all hear about it once someone finds something. I'll be on my way then to do what you told me to." She touches her hat and continues on her way. Light Deal - File Room A large informational database takes up most of the space in this room. The left over space has been taken over by the one who designed the mainframe. All the decorations here even show off his peculiar and somewhat sickening sense of humor. Obvious Exits: -W- West leads to Light Deal - Reception Area -Moonlight quickly accesses the computer and locks down the mainframe located here. Not particularily liking this room, she quickly exits once she has done so. Lieutenant Moonlight says, "I've gone and done what you've asked me to do. Things seem ordinary enough around here. I've descretely asked around and no one has seen either Phantom, Ghost, or the Ghost disguise." Solar says, "Understood, thank you" Lieutenant Moonlight says, "Not a problem. Need anything else?" Solar says, "No your time is yours" Lieutenant Moonlight makes a sound of agreement. "Thank you...I am feeling a little tired. Keep me posted." Solar says, "Understood" ================================= Decepticon ================================= Message: 10/14 Posted Author Security Breech Wed Aug 21 Moonlight ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ *Moonlight appears on the screen.* I know that you are all on a mech-hunt for Phantom, which is good if he is the culprit, but that might not be enough. Since the intruder was long gone before we realized what was going on, that information could be anywhere, and any number of our enemies could have it. And we don't have exact /proof/ that it was Phantom in the first place. We need to broaden our horizons and make sure that any one with both talent and motive are checked out. And to do this, we might have to send someone undercover. If someone can get into our base under disguise, the feat can be duplicated and used against our enemies. There are plenty Decepticons who could do this. That's all I have to say for now. ((OOCly, even though we /know/ it's Phantom, I don't believe that ICly we can come /only/ to that conclusion.)) *Moonlight disappears and the typical Decpticon sigil reappears.* ==============================================================================
