June 13th ~Whiplash(D), Ghost(D), Dirge(D), Firestarter(D), Enfilade(D), Elita One(A), Riptide(A), Phantom(A), Ultra Magnus(A), Crystal City - Starport The once dilapidated and run down hangar has been restored to its former glory. The enormous space within is ablaze with marker lights directing incoming vessels to berths, passengers to transports, and so forth. The centerpiece of this reconstruction is an ivory-colored control tower, equipped with new and refurbished radar and communication feeds. A short, gleaming steel runway runs parallel to the berths, manned by a crew of red droids and yellow mechs, ready for any emergency. Antigrav units and refueling trucks move through the hustle and bustle to waiting ships. Tentacle-like waldos snake around repair bays, servicing the new flood of traffic, some directed by technicians, and others working on their own for less complicated repairs. Dark blue Militia patrols march purposefully around, making sure everyone is safe. Welcome back to the all new Starport. Ghost [Robot] [D] Dirge [Robot] [D] Whiplash [MedusaSaur] [D] Firestarter [Robot] [D] Decepticon Shuttle Control Tower Decepticon Flagship Unaffiliated Freighter Unaffiliated Passenger Liner Obvious Exits: -U- Up leads to Sky Above Crystal City -SE- Southeast leads to Crystal City - Commercial Sector -E- East leads to Crystal City - Industrial Sector -Whiplash has been lying in the shadow of the flagship, her tentacles flickering and thrashing around her. Finally she gets up and comes out into view, looking around at those present. -Ghost stands on the edge of the boarding ramp, optics peering out over the spaceport after glancing at Dirge. She is.. clean.. And.. wearing her emblems.. And.. armed. -Moonlight rushes into the area, hat in one hand, as if she had just snatched it up. She comes to a halt and looks around. "Have I missed anything important yet?" -Dirge stalks quietly towards the other Decepticons. -Firestarter silently walks into the area, stopping near the other Decepticons assembled here. He doesn't say anything, although he has what appears to be a somewhat bored look about him. -Whiplash says, "Don't know. I'd like to know why I haven't heard anything from Destrius yet, for one thing. I think it's time to move in a little closer." -Ghost nods to herself, padding down the rest of the ramp and making her way towards Whiplash. -Whiplash looks them all over again. "This is it for the mission, hm? Alright. We can handle it. Remember, getting Enfilade out alive takes precedence over any Autobot kills, no matter how bad you want it. Of course-" the briefest glint of fangs in a fleeting grin, "if the two objectives happen to overlap, so much the better." -Whiplash looks to Ghost, a brief unspoken question, and pauses to see if Ghost wants to take over the leadership of the mission after all. -Moonlight puts her hat on her head. "Okay, what do you want me to do?" The question is left rather open...she doesn't really care who answers. -Firestarter nods a little bit and then speaks up. "And if the unfortunate situation arises in which our mission seems to be failing are we to disregard Shockwave's orders to take Enfilade out?" -Whiplash affixes Firestarter with blazing-violet optics. "Let me put it like this. You'll have to go through me first." -Moonlight shrugs. "It's too bad we don't have an Enfilade decoy. That way, in the confusion, the 'Bots wouldn't know who to go after." -Dirge watches the proceedings with his arms crossed. -Whiplash says, "Moonlight, we'll need anyone who can fire a laser. And, let's see what Destrius comes up with. We're trusting an awful lot to someone we don't even know, but there's not a whole lotta choice." Seeing as Ghost isn't taking the reins, as Whiplash almost expected her to, she merely nods to her and slips off toward the gates, expecting the others to follow." Deadlands The deadlands of Cybertron stretch out flatly around you for nearly a quarter of the planet. Originally a test bed for Decepticon weapons, the area turned into a massive waste dump area when it was abandoned. The area is littered with bits and pieces of Transformers, bodies of nearly any and every native creature built, old machine parts and just about every manner of debris you could imagine. The area proved to be a natural battlefield, just by virtue of the random cover and entrenchment possibilities, but both sides soon grew tired of fighting over a worthless piece of property, instead, regarding it as a bit of a border or demilitarized zone between regions. There's life here, you just have to look for it, but at first glance, you see nothing worth wasting your time on here. Firestarter [Robot] [D] Dirge [Robot] [D] Whiplash [MedusaSaur] [D] Obvious Exits: -U- Up leads to Sky above Ruined Outpost -N- North leads to Meteorite Flats -E- East leads to Ruined Outpost -W- West leads to Waystation -Whiplash dives down amidst the nearest mound of rusting debris she can find, and melts into the shadows gathering beneath. Almost as an afterthought she pokes her head back out from cover and says to the others, "Find a place to conceal yourself. They'll be coming from the east." -Ghost remains up above, acting as a silent observer and spy in the skies for this mission. -Dirge also runs towards the shadows. -Moonlight chuckles low in her throat. "Hiding, now that's something I'm good at." And she finds a little niche of junk to conceal herself in, which isn't too hard considering her dark coloring. -Firestarter looks down at his bright red form and sighs. "Figures..." he mutters as he does his best to hide. -Moonlight passes a jar of goopy stuff to Firestarter. It's really dark. "That might help hide your coloring a bit." - Whiplash says, "Destrius says he's counting on pursuit. We don't want the 'Bots to see us until it's too late for 'em to do anything about it." -Whiplash glances up briefly from her hiding place. -Firestarter takes the jar and nods to Moonlight in thanks, applying the dark stuff to most of his body, making sure not to get even a drop on the Decepticon insignia on his chest. -Whiplash's optics flicker slightly, then she settles into a crouch, drawing her legs under her like steel coils flexed to spring. -Dirge could be mistaken for a statue, except for the slight flickering of his optics. -Whiplash is hidden to all visual sensors, as are (hopefully!) her companions. She scans the easten horizon intensely from under cover. -Moonlight settles down into the most comfortable, yet concealed, position she can think of. She's used to this sort of deal, so the suspense doesn't really bother her. -Deciding he's concealed, or at least as much as he can be, Firestarter takes out his flame cannon and begins inspecting it, having not used it in quite a while. -Moonlight flicks a switch on her whip, turning it on to its 'black' mode instead of its usual bright, yellow mode. With a nearly inaudible sigh, she just sits and waits. -Rig enters the area, pushing a crate on a gravi-pad. He is running while doing so. -Whiplash resists the urge to edge forward to get a better look at the movement out there. A big Autobot with a crate... Destrius' disguise, most likely. Or at least, so she hopes. -Firestarter remains hidden behind a pile of junk, still checking his flame cannon as if he were alone in his own quarters and not in the middle of a potentially dangerous mission. -Ghost remains in the air, cloaked and quiet, watching the movement of the form below. - Whiplash says, "Don't reveal yourselves till we got a better overview of the situation. I *think* that's our ally in disguise." - Lieutenant Moonlight says, "Gotcha. I'll wait for your move then." -A field of light consumes the Autobot, and when it dissipates, the mech known as Destrius is standing there in his place. -Whiplash relaxes just imperceptibly, at least for a moment. Then she looks eastward again, for any sign of pursuers. -Enfilade steps carefully out of the crate, not sure what she will find... -Destrius smiles and announces "I bring to you, your beloved commander Enfilade!" -Whiplash remains in hiding, looking Enfilade over sharply for damage. -Slowly and ensuring that she makes no noise, Moonlight pulls her gun out of its holster. She doesn't trust the situation, and is prone to going on instinct. -Destrius turns and stares at the approaching Autobots "Oh... slag..." He looks back to the Decepticons and shouts "Run!" -And there already, moving toward them from the east, are the expected problems. Whiplash bares her fangs silently and counts the seconds.... -Firestarter hears someone yell "Run!" which catches his attention and he quickly takes a more alert attitude to his surroundings and begins cautiously looking about. -Enfilade is sporting numerous weld patches all over her and a cheap-steel knee joint, but other than that appears in good condition. Well, that, and she's missing all her weaponry. - Whiplash says, "Not yet. Hold your positions." -Elita One is the sound of an engine approaching. Not stealthy, as she rarely is, her pink colration and Autobot symbol clearly marking her incoming arrival. -Dirge remains in the same position as before, except that there is a curious, slight trembling of his body. -Whiplash takes the chance to hiss out of the shadows right near Destrius, "Get her outta here. We'll slow 'em down." -Enfilade doesn't see the other Decepticons. But at the sound of the Autobots, she knows it's make or break time. "Frag runnin...want a ride?" -Riptide looks about and looks at enfilade motioning that Decepticons are around. -Destrius nods to Enfilade and jumps in. -Enfilade takes off, slicking back her big swing-wings and setting course for Crystal City. "Slaggit I wish I was a fighter jet...." Even with the wings back, that big aircraft takes time getting up to speed. - Whiplash says, "Let 'em get a head start. We'll intercept the 'Bots as they chase." -Elita One speeds forward as Enfilade takes off. "Hope Phantom gets out here in time..." she mutters, only to herself. Doubt settling in... -Enfilade's flying speed is not much faster than typical driving speed, sad to say. Even with both engines on full military power, a machine of that size isn't built for racing. -Riptide looks towards Enfilade. -As the Autobots pursue Enfilade at high speed, Whiplash finally judges the moment is right - and bursts from hiding like a tentacled nightmare, all thrashing, crackling tendrils and gaping jaws and raking claws. -Dirge transforms into his Tetrajet mode. -Dirge takes to the air. -Enfilade looks relieved to see someone else with Decepticon signals. She says to Dirge, "Hey, it's the air cover!" -Destrius jumps out of the Ground Attack Cyberjet, drawing two bizarre looking pistols "That's it! No more running! DIE AUTOBTS!!!" He begins charging at the Autobots, firing his pistols wildly. -Riptide says "You'll regret toyou said that!" -Dirge revvs his engines, emitting a fearful roar. He begins to fire at Elita One. -Ghost descends from her vantage point on high, remaining cloaked as she circles the grouping of forms with Enfilade, coming up behind them. -Dirge says, "I am Dirge....and YOU ARE HISTORY!!"" -Firestarter slowly peaks above the junk he's hiding, and then stands fully up with his flame cannon at the ready, but he isn't charging as his 'Con compatriots seem to be doing, he's merely watching for now. -Dirge narrowly dodges Riptide's shot. -Dirge turns, banks, roars his engines again. -Whiplash zigzags to avoid making herself an easy target, and races toward Elita as well, her tentacles fully lit up around her. She may not be making herself *easy* to hit, but she's certainly making herself a tempting distraction. -Moonlight takes Whiplash's emergence from hiding as the cue that she needs. Although she doesn't have the impact of fear as Whiplash does, she's certainly going to be at least an annoyance to the Autobots. Gun in hand, she takes a shot at Elita One. -Enfilade lets Destrius out and then circles around. Although she's tired and wants nothing mor ethan to be back in CC, she won't abandon her own. Their presence cheers her. They didnt' forget her. They didn't just leave her there. -Dirge curses. "Death comes to those who oppose us!" he cries in his mournful voice. He glares at the Autobot. -Riptide laughs "Is it just you or do all Decepticons' whine?" >Moonlight strikes Elita One with her Omnibeam attack. >Dirge misses Riptide with his laser attack. -Whiplash darts sideways sharply as Enfilade circles back toward them. "Get outta here!" she calls to the heavy cyberjet, though whether Enfilade can hear her over the engine noise is unlikely. 'Lash is yelling something at her from the ground, anyway. -Elita One skids slightly as an attack comes from nearly nowhere, and strikes her on the hood. It does a good deal more than scratch the finish, and a smoking cut is blasted into the front of her vehicle mode. The small white gun turret turns around, and opens fire, in the direction of the beam blast, returning the favor. -Elita One misses Moonlight with her Laser attack. -Firestarter continues standing where he is, looking like he's going to shoot someone but he is not moving. -Enfilade knows that logically she should be double-afterburners home, but something in her just feels wrong at the idea of leaving them in a fight. -Moonlight isn't a big fan of combat, but she's even less of a fan of getting hit. Despite her lack of battle prowess, she manages to duck low enough to avoid the attack of the Pink One. Crouching low she waits for a bit, not wanting to catch Whiplash with a shot of hers. -Whiplash growls to herself. Either they have to take these Autobots out completely, or they themselves have to retreat as a group, or Enfilade will stay right there and help them fight. If she had weapons, anyway. - Whiplash says, "Let's look into a drawing back for now. Wait till Fil's safely outta range. *Then* we can lay into the 'Bots." -Dirge heads towards some debris, quickly concealing himself. -Riptide looks around "I don't think I like the odd's -Dirge examines himself. He has a scorch mark on his right arm. Dirge is not pleased. -As Enfilade flies back toward Crystal City, Whiplash lunges back into her pursuit of Elita. She fires a crackling burst of electricity after the Autobot leader in hopes of slowing her down. -Moonlight listens to orders, not because she likes to, but because it would be stupid and suicidal not to. Retreat has never been something she's ever been ashamed to do. - Whiplash says, "Of course if we can take out the pink fluff-piece at the same time, all the better!" -Dirge watches as Whiplash hurtles towards Elita. He runs out of the shadows and follows her lead. - Lieutenant Moonlight says, "Here, here!" -Dirge misses Elita One with his concussion attack. -Riptide looks around, looking for Dirge "Come out come out wherever you are." -Firestarter watches the fighting and notices it isn't getting out of hand, at least not here him, so he lowers his weapon and takes a more relaxed posture. -Dirge transforms behind Riptide. "Looking for something, Autobot?" -Elita One skids around as she's fired at from an opposite direction. Luckily, this time, the shot misses. She stops and transforms, then looks about warily for an opportune target. -Moonlight skirts off to the side, trying to get through. She doesn't move straight, but isn't trying too hard to dodge blasts, attempting to rely on speed rather than cunning at this point. -Whiplash growls as Elita dodges her pyrotechnics as she avoids another attacker. She pauses and calculates the situation again. -Dirge fires at Riptide again. He is beginning to get very annoyed. -Ghost remains airbourne, stillcloaked, still watching the fray below, waiting... -Dirge thunders, "Rustbucket! Die!" -Whiplash leaps back toward Elita. "No more playing around," she calls to the other Decepticons. "Time for some payback!" -Riptide ooks at Dirge and shakes his head "Tsk Tsk Tsk, typical Decepticon" -Elita One spots motion from several sides, as Moonlight begins to race past her position, no doubt trying for the sanctuary of Decepticons' new territory. With Whiplash bearing down on her position, she doesn't have time for more than an attempt at an elecrical shot, before turning around again. Too many of them now... -Elita One misses Moonlight with her electricity attack. -Whiplash writes off Dirge, who seems pretty occupied with Elita's companion, but fully expects backup from the others. As Elita concentrates her shot on Moonlight, she fires another electric blast of her own. -Dirge strikes Riptide with his laser attack. -Whiplash misses Elita One with her electricity attack. -Riptide rubs his wound "That's smarts" - Lieutenant Moonlight says, "This doesn't look like a drawing back to me.....?" -Riptide tries aiming at Dirge but is unable to get him in his sights. -Dirge smiles at the damage he caused. Whiplash says, "Let's say I changed my mind. (growls as her electric bolts miss the Autobot leader)" -Dirge roars, "Death will greet you soon, Autobot!" - Ghost says, "It is simply something that has to be done in stages. After all, we must keep them occupied until Mer Enfilade is safe where she needs to be" -Riptide mimicks, "Death will greet you soon" >Dirge strikes Riptide with his laser attack. -Dirge smirks. "Did you say something before?" -Riptide looks at Dirge and grimmaces "Time to stop being Mr. Nice Guy" - Whiplash says, "And a few dead 'Bots wouldn't hurt either." -Elita One misses with her own shot, but, as luck would have it, manages to turn around before Whiplash's attack can connect. Without any time to see if her troops are managing to track down Enfilade, or not, she rushes toward Whiplash. At a run, she tries to strike against the Decepticons' head with the butt of her gun. >Elita One strikes Whiplash with her Smash attack. -Dirge falls down and moans. >Dirge misses Riptide with his laser attack. -Moonlight throws up her hands in frustration and turns about, muttering to herself. She's been lucky so far, and she was hoping she could get out of this unscathed. But it doesn't look like that's going to happen. She pulls out a gun and aims at Riptide...that Autobot is rather yappy, at least Elita One is being quiet about this. >Whiplash strikes Elita One with her evisceration attack. >Moonlight misses Riptide with her Omnibeam attack. -Dirge moans again. He notices that Moonlight is also attacking Riptide, and that soothes, temporarily, his rising fear. He charges again at the Autobot. -Riptide looks at Dirge and Moonlight "Two on one ain't that bad" -Dirge roars, "Autobot scum! You dare inflict damage upon me? May you rust forever on this land!" -Ghost determins that, now, is as good of atime as any to show the Autobots that the team below is not alone. Decloaking as she transforms to interceptor., She kicks her engine sonwith a resounding scream of noise, making a flyover of the groupings below, letting loose with random splatterings of laser fire to announce the prescense of air support. >Dirge strikes Riptide with his concussion attack. -Whiplash is momentarily entangled with Elita One as Ultra Magnus arrives on the scene. -Elita One is fortunate enough to be Whiplash's chosen target, and is struck in the midsection with the ripping claws. She drops back, holding her unarmed hand over the wound, and raising the blaster up to return fire, at close range, while she gathers herself again. -Phantom moves slowly into the area, a hole in his chestpate where he was 'shot' by Destrius. He's got his weapon out of subspace, but it's still on his hip, maglocked there in case he might actually need to back his people up. >Elita One strikes Whiplash with her Laser attack. -Ultra Magnus rumbles across the plain from the east. He's still a way off, but he can see laser fire in the distance. He kicks the throttle, trying to avoid the occasional pothole or more unpleasant remnant. -Firestarter stands idly by away from the combatants, not in the fighting but just watching the show. -Riptide shakes his head as if he has a serious Migraine. He looks at Dirge and gives him an evil eye. -Dirge hears the roar of an approaching engine. He notices Ultra Magnus. -Dirge turns his attention back onto Riptide, who has, for now, become his mortal enemy. Enfilade says, "Troops...this is Enfilade. I'm home in Crystal City." -Moonlight also notices the approach of other Autobots...something that does not bring a smile to the smuggler's usually cheerful face. "This is just great!" >Dirge strikes Riptide with his laser attack. -The occational sparks fly as the circuits exposed from Phantom's chest are singing themselves at the ends. His visor is a deep red, stead and unwavering. He brings a hand up to his chest, covering some of the sparking. He's heading towards the battle. -Whiplash takes the laser blast as it scorches along the side of her head and neck, but it only seems to make her more angry. "Autobot scum! I'll take every day of Enfilade's tortuer outta *your* hide!" She rakes out her claws again, but falters almost imperceptibly as a message cuts through her battle lust on the 'Con broadband. >Riptide strikes Dirge with its Plasma_Bolt attack. -Dirge falls to the ground again. He cries out in pain. - Lieutenant Moonlight says, "Does that mean we can go home now?" -Riptide looks at Dirge "You know Dirge, I would laugh at you, but you whine too much." -Whiplash spins away from Elita, catching Dirge fall from the corner of her optic. She snarls in aggravation, and comes to another decision. - Whiplash says, "Alright - dammit, alright! Back to Crystal City. Guess we'll have to gather trophies some other time." -Dirge is slow to get to his feet. There is unmistakable terror in his eyes. All he can think about is his mortality. His battlelust forgotten, he flees towards the shadows. - Ghost comes across, "Very well. All ground units pull back, All aerial units take to the air and prepare for a bomb run to cover the retreat." -Moonlight gives Dirge a sideways look. "Get moving...you heard. I'll cover for you." -Ultra Magnus continues steadily across the deadlands, approaching the battle rapidly. "Hey, Decepticons!" he screams when jsut within audible range. "Catch!" And he lets a projectile fly. -Riptide looks over towards Moonlight hearing the command. -Dirge stares at Moonlight for a moment, terrified. It takes him a moment to comprehend her words. -Dirge accelerates quickly into the air. >Ultra Magnus misses Moonlight with his rocket attack. -Moonlight stays behind to hold off a few shots...she's still untouched and even though she would like to stay that way, she knows that hauling unconscious people out is a bad situation. Better she take a few scorch marks than to lose a commrade. > Riptide misses Moonlight with its Liquid_Nitrogen attack. -Phantom watches from afar as the Decepticons start to scatter. Primus! He's good at his job. He gloats on the inside. On the outside, he's a Wrecking ball about to come smashing through, should any of his Decepticon Puppets decide they would like to revolt on the Puppet Master. -Ghost wingovers, turning round and opening up all weapons ports as she prepares to lay waste to the landscape below to cover for her fellows retreat. Laserfire and plasma projected fletchettes are sent screaming downwards in a veritable rain of fire -Dirge sees Riptide fire at Moonlight, but is too terrified to intervene. -Firestarter Hears the oders to pull back and stretches, placing his flame cannon in his personal pocket of subspace. He starts into a run, leaping into the air just as the boosters in his feet kick in, Firestarter ascending steadily into the heavens. -Elita One isn't certain yet if Whiplash is really retreating, or just getting her bearings. She doesn't want her to get far, and follows up, aiming toward her with another shot from her weapon, this one aimed a bit more clearly in the Decepticon's direction. >Elita One strikes Whiplash with her Electricity attack. -Dirge continues darting about in the sky, watching the action in trepidation. -Riptide moves around slowly keeping Mononlight in his sights. -Ultra Magnus spots Ghost in her strafe, and swerves into a (rather convenient) trench along the side of the path. He transforms, bringing his rifle to the sky, and growling an uneaasy taunt as he gets a bead on her. "Howdy, Decepticon! Remember me?" >Ultra Magnus misses Ghost with his concussion_rifle attack. -Moonlight starts to back up, but doesn't do a rush job of it. In fact, she takes a shot at the big fellow. She's been really quiet this fight, but she wants to draw attention away from the wounded and the important people. "Hey you!" she shouts, rather lamely. > Moonlight strikes Ultra Magnus with her Omnibeam attack. -Whiplash is unable to avoid Elita's shot, and takes the brunt of the attack as the electric blast hits her. She stumbles at a run, rolling over to get back to her feet, tentacles thrashing around her and crackling for a moment with an electricity not her own. Her optics flash violet fury - she wants nothing more than to re-cross that distance between her and the Autobot leader and pay her back. Her every neurocircuit and cable shivers with that anticipation. But dimly beyond the desire to sink her fangs into that pink armor, is the realization of the other Decepticons. If she doesn't pull out, the othes won't either. With a snarl of fury, she turns again and dodges into the nearest gully. -Ghost's engines cut out and cut right back in as she swerves in her straffing manuver, the blast overpassing her, sending her sensors into silent warnings of light on her HUD. With an internal grimace, she comes back around, leaving herself open for more shots as she continues her run, letting her systems autoswitch between differing levels of weapons. -Dirge is watching Whiplash's moves with particular interest. He is especially looking for any sign to retreat. He just wants to leave. -Riptide moves out of the way of various enemy fire and heads towards the trench Ultra Magnus is in. Riptide jumps in and Points his gun at Moonlight. - Whiplash says, "Alright, back to base, those of you that are still back there. Or do I have to come back after you?" - Solar says, "What happens? I go on a rest cycle and then you all go and have a party with out me?" - Lieutenant Moonlight says, "I'm on my way. Next time I get in a fight, remind me that I'm a coward and I should leave the heroics to others." - Whiplash says, "Sorry, Solar. We left a few for you to kill next time." -A medium sized black transport speeds across the landscape in the distance. It is possible that it is heading for the large group of transformers, or it could just be circling around. At this distance it is hard to tell. - Ghost says, "I am still covering the retreats Whiplash. Waiting for Moonlight to Clear before I bail." -Ultra Magnus receives Moonlight's blast square in the back, but it simply ricochets off his thick armor, hardly leaving a dent. Nevertheless, he spins around to respond to the threat... but the attacker is not to be seen. As he continues to scan the terrain, Riptide jumps into the trench with him, and he glances to the smaller Autobot. "I'll take care of this." He stands clearly in the confines of the trench, finally spotting Moonlight a few meters off, apparently staring meekly into his position. "Hey YOU!" He levels his left arm on her, balancing it with his right hand, and releases a rocket. >Ultra Magnus strikes Moonlight with his ballistic attack. -Moonlight takes the shot with a sound of definite discomfort. "Okay, I'm done with my heroics for today. See you later 'Bots." And with a tip of her hat, jaunty despite the pain, she goes for the retreat. -Elita One lowers her own weapon as Whiplash escapes, seeing the Autobots have the Decepticons scattering away. She halts in her pursuit. -Ghost brakes again, nose up before she flips aft over tip, rounding back to make another run to cover the teams remaining retreating member. She considers swinging down to pick up Moonlight, slowing just a bit as she calculates the needed course to do so incase that is needed. -The hover transport now is streaming towards what remains of the battle field. It circles a couple times before moving in to pick up injured Autobots. -Phantom continues to walk towards the command element of the battle group, namely Elita and Ultra Magnus. The hole in his chest is still sparking. As he continues to head that way, he watches the last remaining Decepticons run. -Moonlight runs for the hills, so to speak. Waystation Originally, this site was a popular waystation for travellers moving between the cities. The remnants of an old refueling station are scattered around the roadways. A few tattered structures remain, serving as a fall-back point for the Autobots in times of battle. Also here is the beginning of the Bismuth Causeway, which runs from here to the west. Whiplash [MedusaSaur] [D] Obvious Exits: -U- Up leads to Sky above Ruined Outpost -S- South leads to Guardian Pass -E- East leads to Deadlands -W- West leads to Bismuth Causeway -Whiplash is just on her way back the way she came, when Moonlight arrives. - Whiplash says, "Ghost? You out there?" - Ghost says, "Returning now. Area cleared of all allies." -Moonlight sprints into the area with a single, but somewhat large, blast mark on her body. She spots Whiplash and gives her a tired wave. "I'd like to say that was fun, but..." -Whiplash says, "Alright then. I was just about to come in after you. Where's Ghost?" - Whiplash says, "I got Moonlight here with me. The rest went on ahead. You taking the high road?" -Moonlight looks back over her shoulder. "She /should/ be coming. Would be rather unfair to you if she took all the 'fun' for herself." - Ghost says, "Was planning on it unless either of you needed a lift." -Whiplash bares her fangs in a serrated flash of white. "Yeah, I wouldn't be happy. I wanted a piece of Elita's hide." - Whiplash says, "We can make it back. Meet you there." - Ghost says, "Understood, Ghost out," -Whiplash turns and resumes her way back to Crystal City. -Moonlight nods her head. "Yeah...I've actually got a personally problem with /that/ one. With the rest of the 'Bots, it's merely professional." -Moonlight moves to follow. -Whiplash glances back over her shoulder. "It's all personal, really." -Moonlight shakes her head. "Very little is personal with me." -Whiplash says, "If you don't hate your enemies, Moonlight, why bother to kill 'em?" -Moonlight shrugs. "Hate is such a strong emotion, and I'm not big on strong emotions." She smiles slightly. "Besides, it's good for business in a way." -Whiplash makes a shrugging motion with her tentacles. As a creature of strong emotions, she doens't quite relate to either of those statements. -Whiplash's pace slows a little as they enter the city. Her damage is starting to tell on her, though she'd never outright admit to it. -Moonlight keeps a cautious, but subtle, optic on Whiplash as they walk. She just happens to come in on Solar's statement. "What's that?" she asks, before even welcoming Enfilade back. It just caught her attention. -Enfilade looks confused. "You're losin' me Solar...I don't know. I dunno how he did it. But Phantom might be d-dead," She says, with a catch in her voice. -Enfilade looks up and around, breaking into a smile. "Whiplash. Ghost. Moonlight. /Damn/, it's good to be back." -Solar takes a stab in the dark "So Phantom was Stormrunner?" -Ghost glides in from above, having taken her own time in returning simply in case those on the ground had had need of her assistance. She transforms, landing near the grouping before walking over to first, stare at Enfilade, before going to give the other femme a big embrace. "Dissapear like that again and I'll kill you myself." she mutters. -Whiplash's optics flicker in a "blink." "What??" she asks Solar, totally clueless. -Enfilade hugs Ghost...but at Solar's remark her pleasure to see her comrades vanishes, like a cloud obscuring by the sun. The swing wings snap wide and /stay frozen/ at the extended span. She doesnt' answer. -Whiplash says, "You mean ... that lying fence-sitter-" an almost apologetic glance at Enfilade - "he was lying about even more than not really being a bounty hunter? Is *that* what you're saying, Solar?" -Moonlight frowns slightly at the chill in the air. "I'm beginning to think this whole rescue thing is not my line of work. I figured everyone would be happy." -Solar says, "Okay to answer part one of everymech goin nuts. Destrius is not alive, he is a hologram controlled by an outside source. Lash remember those 'subspace signals' we recieved on our way to Prosperity? They were actually control commands for Destrius. Now Part 2. Phantom is also Stormrunner, we knew he was lying about being a bounty hunter, and I had suspicions of him being a bot, so this all fits. Now am I going too fast for all of you?" -Enfilade's wings relax at last and, ignoring Whiplash and Solar, she says, "Well Moonlight--considering I was pretty sure I'd meet my death in that cell--I think this is an improvement, hm?" -Ghost gives Fil another squeeze muttering something softly before she steps back to peer at everyone, optics narrowing in thought. "NOt to fast for me. Somoene have a spare magazine for a plasma rifle.. Or a spare rifle, I seem to have misplaced mine a few months ago." -Enfilade grumbles, "I ain't got /any/ rifle any more. My rocketlaunchers and lasers are disabled and the Bots got my ceremonial sword AND Recoil's cannon." -Solar pulls one out of his canvas sack "This about the right weight for ya? -Whiplash says, "No wonder that rustbucket didn't show up to help us get you outta there, Fil. Was he the one that got you into that situation to start with?" -Moonlight nods to Enfilade. "Good point." -Ghost eyes the rifle, "That looks oddly like the one I left here SOlar.. " She shrugs, "Doesnt matter. I ahve someone to kill now.." -Enfilade turns to Ghost, raising an optic ridge in an obvious question. Who. -Solar says, "Want some company? Allways nioce to have friends when your doing something that is gonna take a LONG time. We do it one piece at a time" -Enfilade looks at Whiplash, her optics shimmering. -Whiplash steps forward some more. "I'll help," she says without hesitation. Her dark plating hides much of her damage, but if one looks closely, it's possible to see she's rather dented and scorched. -Enfilade mutters to Whiplash: "... ... now." -Moonlight just folds her arms and sits back to listen. -Whiplash looks at Enfilade searchingly. "Guys," she says quietly. "Maybe ... we oughtta leave this to be Enfilade's kill. When she feels up to it." -Ghost shakes her head, glancing at Enfilade for a moment, before her expression goes.. blank. Just like that. She sets the rifle onher left arm mount, tests it before shunting it to subspace. "Negative. There are.. more.. important matters rather than me going off on another adventure for personal reasons." She flicks her galce to Enfilade, still looking devoid of emotion. "The commander needs rest and repairs. And I.. was out of line with that statement." She dips into a formal bow, "My apologies Mer." -Whiplash says, "I figure she's got the right to see justice done. We all want a piece of him. But that's not our kill." -Moonlight shrugs. "She doesn't look like she wants to kill /anyone/ right now." -Enfilade gets this nasty feeling who they might all be talking about. "Last time I saw him," she says, her voice thick, "he had a smoking wound to the chest. You may not have to worry." -Whiplash says, "That'd be a shame. For your sake." -Whiplash stands up into a transformation and steps closer to Enfilade, as though to offer silent support. "Come on," she says quietly. "You want to go inside and get some rest?" -Ghost peers at Enfilade for another moment before her expression slides to a softer one. "Lets get you inside and get you checked out, Ma'am. There will be.. more than enough discussion on the matter once Shockwave is informed of your return." -Solar shakes his head "I keep telling you Destrius is not a transformer, and he is most likely controlled by an Autobot. I doubt if the shot did more than smoke some armor plate" -Enfilade doesn't reply to that. Instead she says, "I'm off to the hospice. Send some of the medical staff around. The /first/ thing I want is to get that fraggin' filter out and the /next/ thing I want is a great big mug of Dax's Special Blend. Tell 'em it's exhaust cleaner if you have to to let you take it in, but get it in." -Moonlight chuckles. "If don't mind, I'll handle the drink. It's sort of like smuggling...what I'm /supposed/ to do." -Solar says, "Um enf the filter don't come out but the shutdown code is your serial number" -Enfilade looks over at Solar, and says simply, "Thanks." She nods to Moonlight. "It'd be appreciated. You can find a keg-tank in the Iron Hitch Saloon." And she limps off toward the hospital. -Moonlight nods and goes off to do her 'duty'. Now this is more like it. -Solar just follows along more for information than repairs - Solar says, "Medical personel to the Crystal City Hospice" - Medkit says, "En route." CC General Hospital - Lobby At the very front of the hospital is a reception area, furnished with a tidy steel desk and computer hookup for the receptionist on duty, plus enough benches to seat those waiting for repairs, or waiting while repairs are done on a friend. In the west wing is a stock and storage facility with basic repair parts, chemicals, paints, and a variety of oil, fuel, and hydraulic fluids. The east wing houses a metal shop/walk-in facility for making minor repairs, working armor plating, and fabricating specialty parts. To the north and directly behind the reception area is the Intensive Care Unit, fitted with an airlock to keep out contaminants. The plain, stainless steel walls, floor, and ceiling are usually kept spotless, except in the high-traffic east wing. Ghost [Robot] [D] Medkit [Robot] [D] Obvious Exits: -O- Out leads to Crystal City - Main Street -N- North leads to CC General Hospital - Intensive Care Unit -Moonlight walks into the Hospital with her usual swagger, faltering only when she inadvertantly reminds herself that she has been injured today. -Medkit nods "What has resulted from your mechanical injury? Did we get Enfilade back?" -Moonlight waves to the two 'Cons. "If you don't mind, I'll just go on ahead." CC General Hospital - Intensive Care Unit Made entirely of stainless steel and painted a flat, nonreflective white, the walls, floor, and ceiling of this circular, controlled-environment facility are obviously even more spotless than outside. It is divided into three triangular-shaped open compartments, each with its own medtable, lighting, and equipment. The back of each compartment has shelving for vital components and fluids, and the side walls feature precision equipment and tools. The medtables themselves are fully articulated and adjustable to move a patient to almost any conceivable position without jarring him or her. Medkit [Robot] [D] Whiplash [Robot] [D] Solar [Robot] [D] Enfilade [Robot] [D] Obvious Exits: -S- South leads to CC General Hospital - Lobby -Ghost moves near silently into the area, attention clearly on her surroundings, a wary expression on her countanance. -Whiplash growls softly. "That's what we heard out here. That they were really working you over. So it doesn't make sense they'd fix you up after, unless-" she turns as the others arrive, her optics fixing on the medic. "Oh, good! Here's the guy to talk to." -Medkit grins "It looks like you have been banged around. Did your injuries result in setting Enfilade free?" -Enfilade says to Medkit, "Here's the deal...one, I need my knee joint fixed *she points down to a shoddy replacement*, two, a little paint over these weld spots...assuming that Silentlight guy fixed 'em right...an' three, get my weapons back online, if you would. -Moonlight enters with her usual swagger, trying to convince herself and everyone else that she doesn't have an Ultra Magnus inflicted wound on her personage. -Enfilade adds, "Oh yeah, an' I better not have a freakin' bomb in my chest er somethin', but if I do I don't remember it goin' in." -Solar shrugs from his post of repose "I've heard Silhouette can be most convinving. Don't worry Enf, I've never found a bomb I couldn't dismantle" -Enfilade raises her visor, her optics suddenly sparkling. "You wouldn't believe what I did to our dear friend Silhouette." -Ghost sticks her head in to do a general body count of those present. She seems to be torn between coming in and going away. -Medkit hears Enfilade's speech and goes over to her at her bedside..."I can tell you've been in a right good scrape. Of course, I can handle this, and find out if the autobot scum has boobytrapped your chest or any other areas." -Dirge stalks into the intensive care unit. He stands in a corner, arms crossed. -Enfilade nods to Medkit. "Please do." Then her mouth starts quirking upwards in a grin at something...whatever her story is she seems to find it amusing. -Whiplash adds, "How about listening devices? Trackers? That kinda thing?" -Solar takes one last swig on his bottle and promptly starts to snore, rather loudly -Moonlight walks around to the other side of Enfilade, making sure she stays out of the way of the medic. Using her stealthy, smuggly ways, she passes the femme the drink she requested. "Hopefully you'll get a smile back on that face of yours." -Whiplash says, "Or-" a glance toward Solar - "remote control units? Okay, sounds crazy, but I've been hearing a lot of crazy stories today." -Medkit pulls out a small scanner and moves it several times over Enfilade's chest, nodding and replying to Whiplash "That will require a separate scan, WHiplash, which i will do in a moment." -Enfilade takes the drink, raises it in toast to Moonlight and takes a long swig. The optics squint in pleasure. Then she sets the mug down and says, "Guys, get this. So Silhouette starts diggin' in the knife, the whole deal. Now, this was damn scary at the time, but right now lemme tell you guys...one thing you shouldn't do during interrogation...is suckerpunch your interrogator." -Solar says, "SNNNNNNNXXXXXXX-chuckle-XXXXXZZZZZZZZZZ" -Medkit looks over Enfilade's chest area & puts his first scanner away after a beep is heard. He smiles at Enfilade's funny account, then smirks slightly in amusement "There is no incendiary device in your chest...now to patch you up and get your weapons systems online." -Ghost lifts a brow as she slides intothe room, staying next to the door, "Now I have another person on my kill list" -Whiplash is almost in Medkit's way, but then realizes this and steps aside a little. She grins. "I don't know - sounds like a pretty good idea to me." -Medkit nods at Whiplash "I'd do the same." He then takes out a tool and starts hitting firmly on Enfilade's knee to bend it back into form, but he soon realizes he needs a welder's tool.... -Enfilade lets out a ringing laugh. "I don't think I've ever seen a more surprised or pissed off Bot in my life. It was like all my War Academy training...suddenly disappeared an' I was back in the alleys again, an' I started this big freakin' brawl right there in the cell." -Medkit grins as he approaches Enfilade's knee with a welder "Everyone, step back!" -Moonlight chuckles. "Well, at least the story made you smile. Sounds like something I'd do...I doubt talking would have worked." -Ghost lifts a brow and, despite her seriousness, actually chuckles.. -Dirge watches Medikit with interest. -Enfilade looks down at her knee and says ruefully, "I bet I'd have won too, if that aftlickin' Bot hadn't shot out my joint with her laser. Just had to bring guns into it...an' me without my rocketlaunchers." -Solar says, "I usually cheat, I got enough explosives on me that I like throwing a boom ball in those kind of situations, Oh nearly forgot ...sssssssnnnnnnnn" -Whiplash steps back a little more, reluctantly, and rumbles a soft growl. "Lousy 'Bots. You'll have your shot, though." -Medkit turns on the welder, sparks fly everywhere like a rain of light but for a moment, "This won't hurt at all..." He proceeds to manipulate Enfilade's knee as he heats up the metal with fine precision so as to make no pronounced mark on her armor. -Enfilade nods to Medkit, and looks the other way so she doesn't flinch or get in his way. She says to Ghost, "You c'n kill Sil but not if I do it first!" -Dirge watches the sparks fly. Something feels wet below his feet. He looks down and notices he is leaking energon from a wound. He watches Medkit manipulate Enfilade -Dirge becomes a little scared of Medkit. -Moonlight finds someplace to sit down. -Ghost gives a thumbs up, "I don't know about that, Enfilade. I still owe her for a few things inthe past so.. How about I hold her down and you laser her?" -Medkit takes a short bar with a scoop, spoonlike end to it and caps off Enfilade's knee to mould the metal back into original form -Dirge glances at Moonlight. -Medkit turns off the welder and looks at Enfilade "Do not touch that" points at the knee "Let it cool and do not move around excessively until it is completely cool, otherwise you run the risk of manipulating the knee mould, which could result in you not being able to bend your knee or walk." -Enfilade chuckles, "Deal." Then she sees Dirge's wound. "Medkit...I'll do what you say, an' rest quietly, if you fix up Dirge and the others next. Okay?" -Whiplash says, "So which one do I get?" She looks around at those who were out there on the mission, her expression for a moment hovering on the verge of accusation. "I had to let the pink fluff-piece go." She brushes it aside in the next moment, though. "But we got what we came for. That's the most important part."" -Solar turns off the snoring "Hey no fair I wanna help slag somemech" -Medkit puts away the welder into a nearby slot for holding medical tools. He then walks across the room & gets a larger scanner and brings it over to Enfilade "Now I will do a scan on your weapon systems to see where the problem lies and how extensive the damage to your circuitry is." -Dirge tries his hardest not to shrink into the corner. -Medkit nods "I've smelled energon many times before. I knew Dirge was leaking when it walked in the hospice." -Whiplash seems to have forgotten that she too has taken damage - or is simply not acknowledging the fact. -Enfilade sighs, "I'll live without my guns, Medkit--the seeker over there is dripping fuel." -Ghost lifts a brow, "I belive that both Dirge and Whiplash need some attention as well as Moonlight." -Enfilade leans over to Whiplash and says with a grin, "You got your favourite pain in the aft back. Awwww. How sweet." -Enfilade says, "Guys...it means a lot to me that you all brought out the cavalry. I thought for sure Shox was going to send one guy to assassinate me before I talked.../if/ I didnt' get myself killed on my own fer insultin' the interrogators at every turn." -Moonlight just nods slightly as her name is mentioned. She seems less assured of herself here with so many people, then she does in small groups at the various bars on Cybertron. She's being quiet, maybe because she's in the hospital, or maybe because she doesn't feel she belongs in the conversation. -Enfilade says, "Thanks you guys...fer savin' my rusty aft." -Whiplash hisses, her expression turning suddenly dark. "Over my dead body," she growls in response to Enfilade's words. -Solar drops his canvas sack on the bed in front of him, "What kind of hardware ya looking for Enfilade, and what gauge ammo do you need? -Moonlight hears Solar talking weapons. "And is it highly illegal?" -Ghost shrugs, "All in a cycles work, Enfilade. Besides." Her optics narrow, and she shakes her head, "It was simply what was needing to be done, Ma'am." -Medkit raises an eyebrow "Enfilade, you have some circuitry damage into your core systems. It isn't major but gone unchecked it could result in reduced energy in your activity and a certain reduction in optimal efficiency during and in transformations." -Enfilade says to Solar, "Well, as soon as Medkit gets my guns back online, I'm gonna be fine...except...I need another grenade launcher." Then she looks at Whiplash, surprised at the vehement reaction. Did Shockwave actually try to get Lash to be the assassin? She exchanges a glance, a sudden brightening of the optics, with her friend, but does not mention it here. Not here. Not now. -Whiplash says, "Anyway, *some* of us have enough faith in you to know you wouldn't give 'em any info, no matter *what* they did to you. Any more than I would." Her optics blaze up. -Medkit says, "First, let me repair your weapon systems, then i'll look at your core system circuitry paths" -Dirge glances again at Moonlight, noticing her discomfort. He smiles slightly. -Enfilade sighs at Medkit's designation. "Great. Okay, might as well get it over with...." Then she coughs. "Speakin' of gettin' info, tell Psykeout that there's a price on his head. The Bots are not too happy with what happened to Silentlight and Hyperdrive." -Medkit walks across the room again and puts away the scanner. He picks up a few other items ranging in sizes from very small to medium sized. -Moonlight grins back at Dirge. Not much keeps this femme down, though getting wounded does dampen her spirits a little. -Ghost eyes the room, eyes the door, eyes the room again.. She frowns, padding over to murmur to Whiplash for a moment or two. -Moonlight chuckles. "I'm beginning to think, with the prices on everyone's heads these days, that anyone chosing the path of a bounty hunter as the chance of gaining mucho credits." -Medkit returns to Enfilade's side. "First, I will paint your weld spots over. This, of course, is only cosmetic." He then paints a bit on Enfilade, restoring some of her resilent highlights on her armor. "Now I will need to open up your circuitry box on your chest and do a diagnostics check to see which circuits aren't working correcly. Lie still and do not talk loudly." -Ghost mutters to Whiplash: "... an ... on ... ... ... repairs on ... I'll be ... at ... shuttle ... an ... ... the local patrol ... if you ... me." -Enfilade's optics glaze over at the mention of bounty hunters and she falls strangely silent. -Whiplash edges back a little from the table to give Medkit more room to work, and not to be too near the line of succession for repairs. She's still not really feeling her damages, or if she is, she's ignoring it. But when Ghost whispers to her, she nods and mutters something back. -Dirge considers. "Being a bounty hunter is better than rusting." -Solar opens the sack and starts dropping different pieces of deadly hardware "Grenade launcher, grenade launcher.", drops another plasma rifle, "I know I got one in here somewhere", fusion core hits the floor, followed by 3 boom balls, a box of plasma charges, a long range artillery cannon, 3 swords, and finally "Ah here it is Grenade launcher, newest model" -Whiplash mutters to Ghost: "Guess ... ... ... this scratch taken ... ... ... don't ... ... after ..." -Ghost's optics brighten a moment as she flashes Whiplash a faint smile, murmuring something in return. -Enfilade uses her open chest as an excuse not to speak, but looks at Solar to convey her approval of the new weapon. It's not Recoil's cannon. But it'll do. -Medkit gently slides in a tool and moves it around a bit in Enfilade's circuitry box, splicing a few wires and creating some neat little sparks. -Moonlight settles herself down for some waiting. Seems like today's a good day for waiting. -Ghost mutters to Whiplash: "I know. Thats something I don't ever ... I'd ... ... ... I just ... ... things on ... ... ... ... me ... ... the return ... ... commander. ... ... ... me ..." -Solar says, "Hey you want a scope on this thing? Range finder? Variable charges? Incindiary? Explosive tip? Armor Piercing? Tracers? Stun Grenades?" -Medkit takes a scanner and clips it onto a loose wire *many successive beeps are heard & Medkit tinkers a bit more* -Whiplash gives Ghost a smile. "We did good out there. We did the right thing. Enjoy that." -Dirge also finds a place to sit. -Medkit looks at Enfilade for some positive signs, seemingly suggesting that he should have her weapon systems back up momentarily. -Enfilade sighs, and risks saying, "Make it as much as possible like Recoil's gun..." There's a sudden beep and she stares down, as if afraid she's set her own self destruct or something...then she realizes it's the sound of her weapons systems powering up. "Hey, I think the big guns are back online!" -Medkit smiles "bingo. -Enfilade grins, "Thanks Medkit!" She leans back, stretching. The bunk is /far/ nicer than the cell she was in. -Medkit puts his tools away and looks at the box with all the wires neatly arranged in order. "You'll be ok now. no problem." -Medkit turns around and looks at Dirge, sniffing slightly "You're leaking energon." He looks at Dirge's leg as the blue glow of energy is present. -Ghost nods to Whiplash, "Indeed we did the right thing." She glances at the room, before turning on a heel to pad quietly out. -Dirge gives Medkit an uneasy look. -Medkit closes the circuitry box on Enfilade & pats her gently on the arm "take it easy for awhile." He turns his attentions back to Dirge.... -Medkit nods at Dirge confidently "You will be fine, sit down" motions to a nearby table. -Dirge motions to Whiplash. "Perhaps Whiplash requires your attention first..." -Solar returns the state of the art cannon to his bag, and pulls out a different one "Oh why didn't ya say so. This one is the same make and same model, but without the dents" -Enfilade grabs her mug and takes another sip of the contents. It really is good to be home... She rearranges the pillows, tucking one next to her, then settles back down on the bunk. -Medkit looks over at Whiplash "Whiplash is very tough, and your condition will only take a minute to remedy, Dirge." as he looks back. -Whiplash smirks, somehow pleased at that evaluation. -Whiplash says, "Just a scratch anyway." -Dirge relunctantly gets up, and settles onto the table. He wonders what painful procedure is in for him. -Enfilade raises an optic ridge at Whiplash. "A "scratch," right..." But she grins. She would expect nothing less of her friend. "Sorry about the scare I gave you guys." -Moonlight patiently waits her turn...she isn't really that hurt that much after all. -Medkit takes out a tool and puts it around Dirge's right side of the hip "I am going to take your right hip section out for a moment, the leak is internal and I must find the source. Your circuitry will be exposed for moment while I locate the leak and replace a part if need be, or just patch the leak." -Dirge listens. A hint of terror breaks through his impassive mask. -Medkit uses the tool to get into the hip joint and then circumvent the armor locking system. A hush of wind denotes a part of the Decepticon being taken off of it's air-tight frame. -Whiplash says, "Welll ... see that it doesn't happen again. I'll let it go this time." She gives Enfilade a quick grin. -Solar says, "I gotta warn you though Recoil's cannon was heavily modified, unique even. This one is standard grade and doesn't pack the same punch. It would take me a few mega-cycles to rebuild this one to the same specs as his" -Whiplash says, "Those bastards took your personal weapons, hm?" -Enfilade says to Solar, "Nah, never mind...I need a big weapon. I'll take that one. Thanks." Then she nods to Whiplash. "Yeah. My ceremonial sword, an' the big cannon. Bet they'd have taken my Vulcan gun too if it came off. That's the price of stayin' at the Autobot Hotel." In typical soldier manner she makes a joking name for what is really a serious situation. -Medkit says, "you may feel chilly now, but that is normal...." He briefly looks at the leak, which is clearly trickling under his optic at a specific point, a small hole in a circuit connector switch. "I have located the leak, lucky for you it is a part that is easy to replace. I will replace the connector switch, but I must switch off right leg sensor for a moment." He brings up an armrest "lean against this to offset the lack of feeling in your leg, and don't put pressure on your right side of your leg, that is what the arm rest is for"" -Solar says, "You want a generic replacement for your ceremonial sword too? I could dig one up" -Enfilade snorts...she was never good with a sword, and that one was special...she carried it around for how many centuries? "Eh...guess it won't hurt." -Solar reaches into the sack again and pulls out the three swords "Which one? -Medkit takes out a connector switch from a lower box below Dirge's left foot "These are fairly common parts to replace, lucky for you" Medkit then comes around to Dirge's right hip and switches off the power to it's right leg. -Moonlight stands up. "I'll get my fixing later. I'm feeling a little tired and I think I'll catch a bit of rest while I can." -Enfilade picks something that doesn't really look like her ceremonial sword. Instead she picks something easier to handle. "Thanks again, Solar." She stretches her wings. "Sleep...sounds good about now." -Dirge follows Medkit's instructions silently. His right side goes limp. -Medkit notices a flince as Dirge's right leg goes limp but doesn't seem surprised at all. -Solar says, "Don't worry Enf, I'll put em on your account" -Moonlight stretches and makes a quiet exit.
