June 4th, 2002 ~Hyperdrive(A), Arcane(A), Psykeout(D), Ghost(D), Lunar(U), Solar(D), Gates of Crystal City As you move off the main thoroughfare towards the Crystal City, you behold the massive chrome arches that form the singularly impressive gates to the city. The elaborately ornate spires that top the arches reach high into the sky as if to proclaim their immortality to the universe. The highly polished metal structure twinkles what light there is back at you, as if focusing a spotlight on all who enter the great city. The Guardian robot sized gates show few signs of any damage from the current conflict--a testimony to the dedication and vigilance of Omega Supreme. The gates stand open, but are well guarded by members of the Crystal City Militia. Beyond the troops, the bustling and lively main street beckons you inside... Psykeout [Robot] [D] Arcane [Robot] [A] Hyperdrive [Robot] [A] Crystal City City Map Harmless Hermit Obvious Exits: -U- Up leads to Sky Above Crystal City -NE- Northeast leads to Old Cybertronia -E- East leads to Old Cybertronia -W- West leads to Guardian Pass -Hyperdrive is hanging from the wall still. But there is another wound in him thats sparking. He looks to be in pain. -Moonlight moves in closer towards the city. -Hyperdrive is still sparking a little. He shakes a bit and then goes still again, looking rather weak. -Moonlight looks at the form of Hyperdrive on the wall. Not quite her idea of a nice decoration, but she has no particular desire to join him by speaking out. -Arcane is standing there, staring at Hyperdrive, saying nothing. -Psykeout walks out of the Crystal City, once again with his rifle resting upon his shoulder. He looks around, noting everyone's position around the area. Smiling faintly, he looks up to Hyperdrive, "Having fun, are you 'Bot? Primus. I leave for a moment and when I come back, you've got a whole audience..." He drifts off, still caught up in the plethora of emotions... -Arcane looks at Psykeout "I understand the necessity of having him up there as a message, but need he suffer so? He has an open wound, at the least that could be repaired while he hangs there." -Moonlight isn't so comfortable with the idea either, but Psykeout isn't the most...stable...mech she knows. For now she will just hang back and watch. -Hyperdrive has been sparking and spazzing for a little while and has just fallen still. He weakly raises his head to look at Psylocke, tears rolling down his face again. He doesn't even seem to notice that Arcane is there or even Moonlight yet. -Psykeout looks over to Arcane, "Suffering is what he put me through, mech. He put me through an extensive amount of trauma. He lied to multiple Decepticons and he is simply LUCKY that he is still alive at this point. I wanted to hear him scream..." He reaches around in subspace, finally returning with Hyperdrive's arm. "You should've heard him cry..." -Arcane head snaps to the side as he stares at Psykeout, his green optics flashing with emerald brilliance. His dour expression turns into a snarling scowl. He grabs one of his swords at his hip by the handle, not drawing it but gripping it as if considering it. His voice hints of restraint as he growls "You want to hear *screams* Decepticon...?" -Moonlight shakes her head. "Cool it guys. I've done enough fighting lately, and I don't feel like doing any more." She takes a few steps closer to the two mechs, putting herself in a good position to get in the way if she feels she needs to. -Psykeout rubs the side of his face, considering the options before him. "Calm yourself. I have heard enough screams...at least for today. You should've heard him pout like a little child. It was so amazingly amusing. It was almost...satisfying." He looks over to Moonlight, his optics flickering slightly. "Nobody asked you to fight, Moonlight." -Hyperdrive shakes his head at Psykeout's mention of him betraying anyone. He wants to tell him no, he'd never betrayed anyone. But he can't. So in frustration he just slams his head against the wall a few times, before lowering his head again. -Arcane obviously felt the urge to strike something, for with a barely visible flash of his blade he draws one of the swords and slices a random standing piece of debris in half vertically, while letting out a growl of growing rage. He sheathes his sword and attempts to calm himself. -Moonlight jumps at the display of swordy-ness. "Jumping mecha-hoppers!" She backs away a bit and then gives Psykeout a wry look. "It is kind of depressing having him hang on the wall like that. You've had your fun, why don't you just let him down. It's hard working in a city with bits of living people stuck to the walls. I'm losing money here." -Psykeout glances up to Hyperdrive, then back to Arcane. His optics flare into a deep red, as he watches Arcane release his frustration. Psyke's normal emotionless tone, is now laden with anger. He stares at Arcane, while answering Moonlight's question. "Depression...That is an emotion I experienced for millinea. Do you really think that I'm going to stop now?" He raises an optic ridge, as a faint smile appears upon his face. Psyke's optics returning to their normal color slowly, "I can't let him down. For a couple of reasons, actually...I have wired him with a bomb to blow at the first touch. My commander also ordered that he was to be welded to the city gates." He flashes a toothy grin, continuing to stare at Arcane, "Frustration got you down? Perhaps...Perhaps we need to speak in my office." -Arcane speaks with a snarling tone as he says to Psykeout "I'll try to rationalize with you on your depraved level... Hyperdrive is dying up there. I'm a medic, I can see it. If his most grevious injuries are not remedied, he will die hanging up there. And you might say to me that you care not, but if you gain so much satisfaction from seeing him suffer, in death you will be deprived of that satisfaction." -Arcane says "I can repair him without removing him from the wall. It will not defy any orders you may have been given." -Moonlight seems much distressed. Her days have not been so good lately, and she fears she is growing a conscience. She stays quiet for now, however. No point in arguing with or for either of these mechs. But she worries about Hyperdrive...the guy did actually save her aft at one point in time, but bringing that up would probably fall on deaf audials. -Psykeout raises an optic ridge, "I am a medic, as well. Do not worry. He is not going to die. I would not reccomend touching him, mech. He has been wired to blow at the first touch. I have enough over my head...a random mech's death is not something that I need." He sighs softly, returning the arm to subspace. "I feel something is awry here...You seem to eager to help out Hyperdrive. Do you have any affiliation, mech? Or are you simply a wanderer?" -Arcane stares at Psykeout "I am a citizen of this city which you Decepticons have over-run and impaled young kidlets on. I live by an oath to heal the wounded and do no harm. Maybe you don't follow such an oath yourself. But it's hard for me to stand by and watch a child suffer, even if it's an Autobot." -Psykeout eyes Arcane cautiously, he glances over to Moonlight briefly. Turning his attention back to Arcane, "You're a citizen of Crystal City?" -Moonlight frowns. "Besides, I hate to bring this up, but he's not such a bad kid. Saved me from being turned into a collection of holes." -Arcane nods slowly to Psykeout "I was created by this city's founders, it is the place of my construction and my formative years." Arcane takes a few steps back and pulls a communicator from his hip compartment. He begins speaking into it, his words quiet and barely audible to any who don't have advanced senses of hearing. -Psykeout raises an optic ridge, "Very well. Where is your ID card?" He seems skeptical of Arcane, but is unsure of how to explain his feelings. He turns to Moonlight for a moment, "Saved you? He lied to two different 'Cons, Moonlight. That is plausible as a punishment of death. On top of the fact that he is an Autobot. -Moonlight shakes her head. "I'm a dealer in illegal goods, not death." -Hyperdrive shakes his head at the lying. Again he slams his head against the wall, VERY much upset. -Arcane places the communicator back into his hip compartment, and draws an ID card with his picture and identification code on it. -Arcane throws the card at Psykeout with much disgust "See for yourself. I'm really sick of being asked to prove who the frag I am every ten metres." -Moonlight mumbles. "Must be..." -Psykeout looks down, picking up the card. He examines it slowly, taking in everything silently. He doesn't really trust it, but...since it seems valid. Psyke walks over to Arcane, with the card extended to him. "Very well...However, I would still not reccomend that you fix the damn 'Bot up there." He motions up to Hyperdrive... -Arcane takes the card back and shrugs "Fine. I wouldn't bother, if he has explosives rigged to him. That seems like a Decepticon thing to do." -Moonlight mumbles some more. "'S'not /my/ thing to do. I'm tired of all these generalizations." -Psykeout smiles softly, looking to Moonlight. "It might not be something for *YOU* to do, but it is something that I would enjoy immensley." He lights an ener-cig, looking up to Hyperdrive. "Sorry, kiddo. Your pathetic lying hide has been wired to blow. There isn't any way that anybody's going to remove you from that damned gate..." -Arcane says flippantly to Moonlight "You don't like the generalizations, don't be associated with the faction. I won't join the Bots for that reason. They do too much... terrorism." -Solar lands behind the other cons and activates his engine mufflers and his vstol so he can enter as quietly as possible -Psykeout smiles softly, "Generalizations that are taken seriously...are nothing but slag." He pulls his rifle off his shoulder, looking up to Hyperdrive. "Ohh...to take a couple of more pot shots at the 'Bot. -Arcane clenches his fists and says in a restrained shout "Don't you *dare*, Psykeout." -Hyperdrive shakes his head not understanding where Psykeout got the idea he lied to anyone. He just shakes his head. -Psykeout raises his rifle to optic level, looking over to Arcane for a fleeting moment. "Or what?" -Moonlight looks a little woosy. "Or I'll feel sick?" -Disturbingly, instead of a growl or a scowl or a sneer, a smirk plays across Arcane's face. With barely a movement his two swords are in his hands as he says softly "Psykeout, put the gun away. I really want you to put the gun away..." -Solar says, "Why is it I seem to be stopping more fights than creating them?" -Hyperdrive looks at Solar now and just stares. He can't do much else at this point. -Psykeout looks over to Arcane, sighing softly. "Very well...I shall simply have my fun at another time." He shoots a momentary glance to both Solar and Hyperdrive, before his optics finally rest upon Arcane. "I hope your satisfied...Fraggin' mech." -Arcane pauses and looks over his shoulder at Solar as he speaks "Interesting, I'm actually happy to see you." He slides his swords into their sheathes. -Psykeout returns his gun to subspace, sighing softly. He turns on his heels, heading for the Gates of Crystal City. This is *NOT* how he wanted this to end. -Moonlight recovers a little...all that sparking was giving her a headache anyhow. She shakes her head as though to clear her mind. -Solar says, "Since last cycle I've been in one large fight, and I ain't in a very good mood. Now ain't a good time for idle chit chat" -Arcane stands aside to let Solar past "Very well, then be on your way. Unless of course you need to speak to one of us." -Moonlight :. o O ((Please don't let it be me!)) -Solar says, "Nope I gotta give Shox a little report, but some mechs" And he looks pointedly at Moonlight "Better remember its a good thing ta follow orders" -Moonlight sighs. "But I was....sort of...." -Psykeout watches silently, listening to everything. He moves into the shadows, taking drags off his ener-cig every so often... -Hyperdrive is still staring at Solar at least for a few moments. He then lowers his head and lets it slump. -Arcane asks "Solar, a question for you, about Hyperdrive..." -Solar says, "Ask it then" -Arcane says, "Does he have explosives rigged to him?" -Psykeout looks to Arcane, as his optics narrow to a mere slit. He told this mech that he wired the kidlet to blow. Speaking into his radio softly... -Solar says, "It was ordered that way. There has been an execution order on Hyperdrive for almost a full lunar cycle" -Moonlight turns her head slightly towards Solar. This day /really/ isn't turning out so good. "But execution doesn't mean torture...does it?" -Psykeout snars as he doesn't get a response on his radio. So much for contacting the commander... -Arcane adds "I only ask because... well... is it possible to repair his more obvious wounds while he hangs there? If he must be crucified as an example, fine, but need he be so uncomfortable. If I'm not mistaken, the message being sent is more to the Autobots as a whole then Hyperdrive personally? If he is going to be executed... so be it, but there is no need to be brutal." -Psykeout steps out of the shadows, his optics still narrowed. "I told you, mech. He has been wired to blow." -Arcane looks back to Solar "That's barbaric. And Whiplash wonders why I'll never join you. If you have to execute your enemies, fine, so be it, but you don't need to be cruel. You'd probably get more recruits if you had more merciful policies." -Arcane snorts "War is war, but this is... sadism." -Psykeout chuckles softly... -Moonlight tries to slink off by herself. She doesn't like where this is all going. -Solar says, "This is war, we give the enemy no quarter. There is no difference between this and the mistreatment our officers have gotten from the Autobots" -Psykeout jumps slightly, as his radio crackles alive. He sighs softly, before he responds... -Arcane nods to Solar "And their practices are no better than yours. But that's not the point. If you were so superior to Autobot terrorists, you'd have more mercy than this. Bah, to the darkness with all you factols and your damn war." He draws his black cane and he begins to walk away. -Hyperdrive hits his head against the wall a few more times. Old Cybertronia This *used* to be a livable section of Cybertron. There still remains evidence of a small city--one of the original settlements on Cybertron. For whatever reasons, it was abandoned towards the beginning of known history and has since fallen into a state of great disrepair. The obvious difference between this old place and other locations around the planet is the shorter buildings. Oddly, in older times, the residents didn't care for the vertical arrangements that would prevail later on in the planet's history. The squat buildings populating this area are also more rounded than angular. Most of them bear some signs of damage, but many remain intact and have served, and will continue to serve as small homes for those without affiliations. Still, there has been enough fighting here that most have chosen to move into the Crystal City to the south, though the Crystal City Militia still patrols here. Arcane [Robot] [A] Crystal Marker Obvious Exits: -U- Up leads to Sky Above Old Cybertronia -N- North leads to Crystal City Highway -S- South leads to Old Cybertronia -SW- Southwest leads to Gates of Crystal City -E- East leads to Proving Grounds -Moonlight nods to Arcane, as they seem to be heading in the same direction. -Arcane turns to Moonlight and says "I am sorry." -Moonlight shrugs. "Sorry for what?" -Arcane says, "Generalizing you. I know what that's like, and I apologize. You seem more merciful than your unsavoury comrade." -Moonlight nods. "Like I said before, I deal in illegal goods, not death or torture. Pain isn't a big thing for me, and I don't think peole need others to teach them lessons." She pauses. "You busy at the moment?" -Arcane shakes his head "I was about to return home, but that's all. Why?" -Moonlight shrugs. "I was wondering...you're a medic type right? Are you overly choosy about whom you heal up?" -Arcane says "Not at all. Unless it's Whiplash." -Moonlight titls her head back and lets her optics glint for a moment. "Something wrong with 'Lash?" Her tone is a wee bit defensive. -Arcane shakes his head "I can't come within 10 metres of her without her trying to decapitate me. There is some... unpleseantness between us, it's quite personal." -Moonlight seems a little let down by this. "Oh well. Didn't hurt to try." She shrugs, trying to make light of her obvious disappointment. -Arcane quirks an optical ridge "Is it Whiplash, seriously?" -Moonlight wriggles her hands to indicate that he's close, but not quite. "No...more like an accomplice of hers and mine. He was pretty beat up." -Arcane asks "Is it Stormrunner, or whatever his name is?" -Moonlight shakes her head. "Nope, he's not a Decepticon...exactly." -Arcane smiles and laughs "Lunar." -Arcane folds his arms "Did he get himself into trouble?" -Moonlight nods a little tentatively. "Yeah, that's the guy. He's not exactly pleasant, but well, I told Whiplash I'd help her. We got into a fight with some guy that Whiplash hates. Made a bit of a scene and a really big mistake by doing it." -Arcane smirks and nods "Alright, fine. Where is he holed up?" -You say, "The Dead End, as it's so aptly named." -Arcane nods "Ok. I'll have to go to my sanctum and get my kit." -Arcane begins walking towards the south-side of Cybertronia. -Moonlight follows Arcane along briskly. Old Cybertronia This *used* to be a livable section of Cybertron. There still remains evidence of a small city--one of the original settlements on Cybertron. Arcane [Robot] [A] The Sanctum Crystal Marker Obvious Exits: -U- Up leads to Sky Above Old Cybertronia -N- North leads to Old Cybertronia -S- South leads to Production Highway -E- East leads to Great Arena -W- West leads to Gates of Crystal City -Arcane stands in front of a massive domed structure, nestled tightly between two ruined buildings. This structure seems more recent in construction. Only one door is visible, it's surface smooth steel. Arcane approaches it and waves his hand in the air before it, making some kind of bizarre hand gesture, while calling out bizarre words that your translation matrix doesn't recognize "Amon Saakai z'muth tanaaru. Ek onmisadium des misocordium kassus medio." -The door seems to recognize the strange command, and a whirring noise is heard as it unlocks. -Moonlight blinks her optics under her hat...strange stuff. But as long as she's getting something accomplished, she can handle strange. -The massive door opens, and Arcane enters, motioning for Moonlight to follow. The Sanctum You are standing in a massive vaulted room, surronded by unfamiliar machinery. A few mechanical hoists hang from the ceiling, and the walls are lined with shelves filled with all kinds of spare parts, and methods of storing information. There are three long slabs towards the north end of the room, seeming to be either workbenches, beds, or both. This area seems to be in part a library, and in part a mechanical shop. A huge, ornate throne of some kind is at the far corner of this bizarre room. Various plugs and input devices seem to be connected to the throne. Contents: Arcane -Moonlight walks into the building a few steps after Arcane does. She tries not to look /too/ interested in her surroundings, that might annoy the guy who's going to help her out. -Arcane walks over to one of the shelves and pulls off a medkit, wiping a bit of dust off it has he does so. He calls into the open air "Computer." A beeping sound issueing out of a loudspeaker seems to acknowledge the call "Set internal timer to standard call. If I do not return within set time, enact Protocal Gamma-Exarius." -A mechanical voice from the speaker intones "Acknowledged, Sagacion." -Arcane looks over at Moonlight and nods "Let's go." -Moonlight bobs her head once affirmatively. "Oki doki." -Arcane lifts his hand towards the door and makes another gesture, calling "Amon hazaakari". The door slams shut and locks. -Moonlight keeps up with Arcane while asking, "Is that an actual language you're speaking, or just a bunch'o'jibberish?" -Arcane smiles at Moonlight "It's a code which uses a random frequency algorithm to compose, only I and my computer know how to decipher it. It's merely security precaution." -Moonlight makes an "ah" noise and keeps going. -Arcane laughs and says "When we were inside my sanctum I set an internal timer. If this is some sort of ambush, my dear, and I do not return in the specificed time... well, let's just say you'll regret it." He looks up and says "Well, it's a nice time to fly, we'll take the air." -Moonlight looks offended. "Ambush? Me? I don't have the tactical sense to pull off one of those." She also transforms and takes flight. -Arcane transforms a few yards from the ground and lands, his black cane in one hand and his medkit in the other. -Moonlight follows suit and lands a little ways away to transform back into her more comfortable mode. -Arcane walks into the city. -Arcane looks at Moonlight "So where is he?" -Moonlight ponders for a moment. "Last I saw, he was in or near the Hospiece. If he's smart, he'll still be in the area." -Arcane nods and begins walking for that end of town. Dead End - Central Strip This area of Dead End could be described as the busiest, if only because it serves as a crossroads for the rest of the city. Many Cybertronians of all shapes and sizes can be seen moving through the narrow, crowded streets between Dead End's various points of interest. Though many of the people here appear normal... more or less, many seem to be suffering from some sort of malady, be it rust or system-decay, or from some sort of injury. Many of them are no doubt veterans of the war, Autobot or Decepticon. Occasionally, a vehicle of some sort can be seen forcing its way along the bustling street. As with all other areas in Dead End, this area is lit by artificial lighting, though a number of burnt out and flickering streetlights leave the road dim and with many a shadow to hide in. Arcane [Robot] [A] Ghost [Robot] [D] Phalanx [Robot] [U] Obvious Exits: -N- North leads to Dead End - North Strip -S- South leads to Dead End - South Strip -E- East leads to Dead End - Governmental Commons -W- West leads to Dead End - City Limits -Arcane walks into the area, his black cane in one hand supporting his weight, a medkit in the other. An odd image, that. -Moonlight walks in, lagging a little behind Arcane, trying not to be /too/ conspicuous. She starts humming to herself, but that isn't unusual. Of course, she's /very/ thankful to her hat at this moment. She keeps to her normal, swaggering pace, trying to convince herself that life is going well right now. -Arcane doesn't even bother to notice other people in the area as he walks on. -Phalanx is headed for the city outskirts with Ghost a short distance behind. They seem to be talking, but any words are lost to the hustle and bustle of the street. -Moonlight keeps going, hoping neither Phalanx nor Ghost pay her any attention whatsoever. -Ghost nods in agreement, optics flickering as she mulls the words over, "I seem to remember those words, or something akin to them being part of one of the classes at the academy. One of the officers courses. Respect is best given freely, not demanded in return. It is an honor, not a requirement, a gift not something ordained simply though rank. And it is a double edged weapon, to give respect is to understand that it may not be returned in kind." Mercy Hospice Much improved in the past few decacyles, the rusted, decrepit walls of the hospital have been refinished and resealed. The old, stripped power couplings and relays have been replaced with used but still functional units, allowing a sufficient measure of power to the facility. Serviceable equipment, though neither the best quality nor the cutting edge of technology, has been installed and is fully operational. The same adjectives apply to the medics. Not having to contend with the constant warfare of the factions, the hospital and its personnel are capable of handling most emergencies that come their way. Arcane [Robot] [A] Lunar [Robot] [U] Obvious Exits: -O- Out leads to Dead End - South Strip -Moonlight enters the Hospice a few moments late, her steps a little more cautious than usual. -Arcane enters, leaning on a black cane and carrying a medkit. The staff at the hospice seem to recognize Arcane and don't question his appearance. He asks for Lunar's location, and they point in the direction. Arcane walks on. -Lunar is not in his bed. Not really surprising, when you consider his paranoia. He is sitting in a chair, obviously in no small amount of pain, his plasma rifle on his lap. When Arcane enters the gun snaps up, then lowers as Lunar realizes who it is. "And to what do I owe this honor?" he grates out, not so much out of his normal bitterness as out of pain. -Moonlight rushes up behind Arcane, hoping to avoid a confrontation that was supposed to be a helpful incident. -Arcane smiles and says "You owe it to your injuries. I'm surprised you didn't call me earlier." -Lunar says, "Wasn't sure if you'd heal me or put a plasma bolt through my head. Still not sure, but . . . well, at this point, may as well be a plasma bolt than these wounds." -Moonlight waves fervently from behind Arcane. "I brought help 'cause I said I would." -Lunar nods to Moonlight. "Moonlight, the building my brother destroyed. What was the final casualty count? Do you know? -Arcane furrows his optical ridges "Why would I harm you? It is against my nature. I am not your enemy Lunar, unless you give me a reason to be. And it seems to me in your current state you need all the friends you can get." -Arcane stops in his tracks and stares at Lunar. The anger in his face is sudden and without warning. There is a very visible edge of rage in Arcane's voice as he asks "Solar has harmed civilians?" -Moonlight shakes her head. "No, I don't know. Numbers generally don't interest me unless I'm counting credits." -Lunar growls, looking just as angry as Arcane. "My DEAR brother decided that destroying a civilian residential complex was a small price to pay for causing me injury. He has killed more of MY . . . of the people of Dead End. Which is why he does not deserve to rule here." -There is an audible crunch noise. It is the handle of Arcane's medkit, which was just crushed in a clenched fist. Arcane twitches for a moment and then releases sigh "I will handle Solar my own way, later. Right now, there is more important matters. Lunar, can you get up from that seat?" -Moonlight shrugs. "He's got a crafty mind, which Dead End needs. 'Course, I like this place. Don't like the people getting blown to bits. They are my sort of people after all." She sighs. "Need me around for the fixing bit. I have a few things to tend to. I can come back later if I'll be in the way." -Lunar snorts. "Easily." He stands up, grunting in pain. "Arcane, talk to him if you will. But don't harm him. I'm going to kill him eventually, and I want him nice and healthy for my triumph." -Arcane smirks. It's a rather malicious one. "I do not kill. Ever. However, there is much one can do without killing. Or leaving visibile damage..." He lets the rest of that thought hang in the air for a moment, and then continues "Can you lay on the bed there, Lunar? It makes this easier." He looks at Moonlight "You can assist me, if you don't mind." -Moonlight seems a little hesitant. "Okay...but I'm not so good at fixing things." -Lunar does as ordered. "Don't harm him, at all. This is important, Arcane. Harming him, or even confronting him will just cause him to hide his actions. This is another link in the chain that will tear him apart. Let him be, and he will lay the foundation for his own destruction in due time. Then . . . I pounce and rend him." -Arcane nods at Lunar "Very well. Who am I to interfere in matters of family? Those who interfere with family... well, bad things happen to them often." He stops for a moment to stare at his black cane, built of shining steel, before he shunts it to subspace and opens his medkit on a nearby stand. He tosses Moonlight two components, a hyper-torch and a power-spanner, saying "Connect those together." He pulls out a scanner and begins a cursory scan of Lunar's damage. -Lunar smiles slightly. "You know, Arcane, you're not half bad after all." -Arcane smiles and nods, putting the scanner down and pulling out a bizarre looking device that appears to be a weapon of some kind. -Moonlight sticks the two pieces together. "Now what?" She glances at Lunar, "Cybertron certainly breeds a lot of people who have a freak fondness for pain. I'm surrounded by them at any rate." -Solar transmits: 'We have an assignment for you'. -You transmit 'Oh? What would that be?' to Solar. -Solar transmits: 'Guard duty'. -Lunar says, "I don't like pain. I deal with it." -You transmit 'You must really be mad at me then....*she sounds a tad bit uncomfortable*' to Solar. -Moonlight shrugs. "I don't even like dealing with it." -Solar transmits: 'No not really angry at you, a bit aprehensive though. Its just that I can't get in touch with Enfilade and get her ta send a few mechs over. Your the only one I can spare'. -Arcane laughs "If it weren't for pain I wouldn't have a job. Funny, that." Arcane aims the device at some of the scratches, nicks and scrapes on Lunar's outerframe. He pulls the trigger, and a white-hot liquid metal pumps out, sealing the most minute damage first. -Moonlight scowls at her radio. "It seems that duty calls. Slaggit." She shrugs and lightens up a bit. "Oh well." -You transmit 'Where do you need me?' to Solar. -Solar transmits: 'Guarding Hyperdrive'. -You transmit '*Moonlight groans into her radio* Wall guy?' to Solar. -Arcane takes the device he had Moonlight assemble "See you later, dear." -Solar transmits: 'Yes'. -Lunar nods. "Goodbye, Moonlight." -Moonlight groans into her radio with much displeasure. "Yeah, yeah. If I don't go crazy first." With that she stalks out of the room. -Arcane looks back to Lunar "This method of repair I am about to use is extremely painful, so much so that it is rare that young medics use it. However, it's highly useful and it's twice as fast as a normal repair. Your permission to use it?" -You transmit 'Might I ask: Why me?' to Solar. -Moonlight stomps through the area, looking rather annoyed with something. -Solar transmits: 'Because your the only mech I can send'. -You transmit 'Yeah, I guess. On my way.' to Solar.
