February 16th, 2001 ~Sliver(D), Solar(D), -Moonlight walks into the bar, neither cautiously nor confindently. It's a rather plain sort of walk, the kind that seems as though there is no connection between thought and the process of locomotion. -Sliver moves over to Solar and sits down. "Hello. What did you say? Something about a waitress?" -Solar nods and talks rather softly "Yeah a waitress, part of my deal with the Syndicate gives me partial control of the bar here" -Sliver nods. "Yes, I've heard of this deal, what is it about?" -Moonlight looks around for a moment, just a casual surveyance that anyone walking into a bar might make, then she takes a seat at the bar. -Solar shrugs "Basically it allowed me to build the Light Deal, and a few extras that I'll show ya later right under the Syndicate and the Bot's noses. Plus it gives me control of part of the Synds holdings, but it Required me to make Frost a partner. Now then to the waitress, you see that wall panel over there? The one with the strange molding? -Sliver nods. "Need me to access it? Not a problem." -Solar says, "No its already accessed watch" Solar gets up and walks over to the panel and touches the molding, then seems to disappear "Now ya see me..." -Solar says, "Now ya don't..." -Sliver watches and walks over..."Ummm...okay, so then, what do you want me to do?" -Moonlight is discussing the menu with who ever is tending the bar in a low voice. -Sliver has not of yet noticed any other robots in the area. -Solar says, "I need the dossier of all the lower rank Decepticons . I need someone loyal to the empire who can keep a secret (points to Moonlight)" -Sliver looks over to Moonlight. Immediately his eyes flash over with code, matching facial features until a match is found. He nods. "Moonlight, a newer recruit of the empire. Says here she's a waitress. Strange. So, what do you want me to do?" Suddenly a large grin shows...."I could always," but he stops there knowing Solar would know what he is thinking. -Sliver looks, "She has pretty high level defenses as far as who she is. It says here she is also a smuggler. -Moonlight doesn't seem to be aware of the Decepticon mechs discussion of her. Her attention seems to be on the list of drinks. A thin finger wanders to the side of her closed mouth as she muses over it. -Solar mulls that over "No not yet I want a willing recruit, for now go over and aske her to join me at the back booth. Transfer her file to a pad and let me study it. Then grab 2 bottles of my high grade and bring them back to the table. Don't worry one is for her the other for me. Catch my drift?" -Sliver smirks. "Yes, of course." -Sliver walks over towards Moonlight, and taps her on the shoulder. From somewhere he produces a technorose offering it to her. "Madam, my friend requests your presence at the table in the corner. May I show you the way?" He turns to the bartender who brings him two high grade energons. He grabs them and then waits for the answer. -Moonlight twists slightly on her stool as she moves to stand up. She looks as pleased as any normal femme would look at such attentions, but to the close observer there is a cold steadiness that seems out of kilter with the rest of her appearance and mannerisms. -Moonlight smiles slightly and makes her way to the indicated table. -Sliver is such a moron around femmes that he hasn't seen the coldness. "Oh, come on please? -Solar stands as the two reach the table and offers the femme a seat, before resuming his then he looks around as Sliver places the 2 bottles on the table. When everyone's comfortable he turns to Sliver. "Make sure we aren't disturbed Sliv." He then turns back to look at the Femme "I think I would like to talk some bussiness with you Moonlight." He lets the fact that he knows who she is sink in and waits for her response. -Sliver nods. "No one will." -Moonlight slides into her seat with one fluid movement, and there seems to be a purpose to every movement she makes now as though it will all come together in some sort of plan. She leans in close to Solar with a rather vaccant smile, though her optics and tone are not vaccant at all. When she speaks, it is in a soft and low voice. "You know who I am, but I am not familiar with everyone one of your faction members yet, so why don't we start with you telling me who /you/ are." -Solar smirks slightly and allows the intelligence he actually has to flash brifly in his optic. "I suppose some introductions are in order. My friend who invited you over here is Sliver, and I am known as Solar. We are both members of the intelligence division which tells you how we knew who you were, but not why we invited you over. The only question I am interested in is if you are willing to talk about business. As for some information, I am willing to pay top credit if you decide on yes" -Moonlight looks back over her shoulder for a moment to see if any optics are wandering to their corner. When she's satisfied that they aren't, she leans back in her seat until she is in a strangely graceful slouch. She waves a single hand languidly. "What do you have to say?" -Sliver stands just off the corner table and makes sure no one is watching, which they aren't. -Solar gets right down to the nitty gritty. "You most likely passed that new building with the large sign, the Light Deal. I happen to own it with my partner Swindle. I'm sure you've heard of him, but I also part own this bar and could use a waitress that knows how to keep a secret or 2. So basically I have need of both of your rather specialised talents. Of course I won't tell you about any secrets before you accept me offer" -Moonlight nods her head slowly. "Of course not, to do that would be stupid. I certainly haven't been with your people long enough to know how trustable I am, and you certainly haven't dealt with me before, so why should you trust me with anything right away." -Solar says, "I will give you as much time as you need to decide, but I can't give you any more information about the job itself except to give you free reign to look around the Light Deal. And of course the Decepticon mainframe has simple profiles on Swindle, Sliver and I. All unclassified of course so feel free to feel us out" -Moonlight cocks her head to the side and muses this over. "So this really has nothing to do with mainstream Decepticon duties? Your doing this on your own, so if I were to work with you, it would be besides my other duties as well?" -Solar thinks about it for a moment, and the calls Sliver back over. "Sliv I think I may need your help on this one" -Sliver comes and sits. "What's up?" He smiles at Moonlight. -Moonlight smiles back amiably. -Solar leans in to the table and keeps his voice low "Do you think we can get Sky to request her transfer. I think We'll need this to be a permanent type of duty if she accepts. Kinda like a glorified guard duty that pays a smeg of alot better" -Sliver nods. "I'm sure we can manage. If sky can't get it past Razelore, I'm sure I could manage to have her miraculously switched to us," he says in a whisper. -Solar says, "Thats what I thought too", Solar turns to once again look at Moonlight. "I believe that leaves everything on your shoulders. Permanent transfer to Sky's command, use of your smuggling and waitressing skills, and I guarrantee to pay top credit" -Sliver nods in agreement. -You say, "Do I even have a say where I go or what I do? I'm not used to your structure here, all the work I've done before was rather more losely based...never had to clear things with superiors or anything like that." -Sliver looks to Solar shrugging...and whispers. "We as con intel aren't that bad, I'm sure she'd get used to it." -Solar says, "I would say that things are much more structured in the warrior groups, but Intell is more lose. If you're assigned to Combat Arms or Ops expect more discipline." -Moonlight laughs lightly and spreads her arms open to give the mechs a good look at her. "Do I look like combat material boys?" -Solar shrugs "You're new, its S.O.P. to start all new recruits in an infantry post. Basically ya got no choice, you become combat material" -Solar just passed his optics over you. -Sliver nods, "Yes, but like we said, we could get you into intel. -Moonlight shrugs elaborately. "I'm not overly picky about what I'm doing, I just think that I wouldn't really fit doing combat." -Solar stands up slowly and nods to both the other mechs "Sliver and I will leave ya to think about our offer. If ya decide either way before we get back radio me and I'll come back. Let's go Sliv I gots somethin I need ta show ya" -Sliver nods... -Moonlight watches Solar stand up. "Since you seem to know much more about 'the system' than I do, why don't you go ahead and talk to who needs talking to." -Sliver stands up offering his hand to Moonlight. "Twas a pleasure." -Moonlight takes the hand firmly, though there doesn't seem to be much firmness about her general self. -Solar says, "I have alreay talked to the one person who needs to make the decision. I ain't gonna force ya into it, and I ain't gonna make any changes to your assignment before ya make that decision. That too would be stupid." -Solar turns and follows Sliver to the door "Head for the Light Deal Sliv"
