"What You Want Me To Be" Video Shoot
DYP's hit single "What You Want Me To Be", which is currently featured on the front page of aznraps.com and receiving rave reviews, will be the subject of DYP's first video shoot! The video is scheduled to be shot in Philadelphia as part of a two day shoot in December and January.
Upcoming Releases
Along with "tha SICKness", DYP has announced that 2 more albums are currently in the works. First will be a DYP Mixtape, which will feature freestyles, and rare and hard to find unreleased material. The second is a collection of DYP's battles complete with commentary from DYP himself! Sure to be collector's items one day, be sure to look out for these exciting projects!

New Look!
As you may have noticed, the website has been overhauled! A fresh new look was in order in anticipation of DYP's upcoming album "tha SICKness". Virtually every aspect of the site has been updated and freshly dipped, so be sure to explore! A new BIO will be up shortly, as well as brand new AUDIOS. Pics and Affiliates pages are currently under construction. Check back SOON! In the meantime, take a look around and make sure you sign the guestbook and drop DYP a message before you leave!
Album Update
Progress on the upcoming album is going very well. A brand new song, "What You Want Me To Be" produced by DJ Alarm of Far East Movement has just been completed for the soundtrack to "A Primer". Look for it in the AUDIO section soon. The album looks like it will be completed by the end of this month. Pre-order information will be available shortly. Make sure you reserve a copy, because they will go FAST!! DYP will be putting together a tour to promote the album. Shows have been lined up for Boston, NYC, and Philly, as well as a possible West Coast swing. If you are or know any promoters, please contact [email protected] for booking information.
"A Primer"
Word has come in that "A Primer" has finished going thru the editing stages and has been submitted to the Sundance Film Festival! We'll keep you updated on the progress of the film!

Release date has been pushed back because of complications. Not to worry! DYP is currently recording collaboration tracks with some of the hottest up and coming artists in the game. Look for appearances from his Likwit fam, including J-General, FLOW sik, Noose, Lon Star, and the return of JGim!
Also, look for the much anticipated reunion with West Philly rhyme-slinger Molino Millionz.
Other special guests to be announced. Look for big things!

DYP recently performed at the Circa nightclub in Philadelphia on Friday August 22nd with special guest Snacky Chan. Big ups to everyone that made it out and showed 'Child support!
"A Primer" Soundtrack
DYP is recording a track for the soundtrack of Joe Kim's Asian-American short film, "A Primer".
The name of the track is "Break Tha Mold" and will deal with Asian-American stereotypes.
Look for it in the upcoming film as well as on "tha SICKness".
