A mazoku Dark Lord almost always create a Priest and a General to serve them, which they create by dividing their power among them. However, Xellas Metallium, for some reasons I'm sure are a secret, created only Xellos. Owning to this, our dear Mysterious Priest is among the absolute most powerful and loyal mazoku there are. **waves little fans while shouting "Go Xellos, you're #. . . 6! or so!!**
Xellos is usually described as looking 24 or so, looks frighteningly like a girl, and always carries a staff. Just like the other mazoku, everything that Xellos carries around with him is a part of him. Clothes, satchel, that staff, it's all as much Xellos as human Xellos himself. As for his mazoku true form, he's really a big black cone. Yes, a cone. In the novel series he kills a few mazoku with either a huge cone or medium-sized ones, and in Try at one point he attacks with a thousand little cones, each one with as much power as a Blast Fog. Meaning a lot. Also, in the last episode of Next when he appears on a rock the shape of a big spirally cone can be seen before he appears in human form. (While we're at it, Xellos technically isn't even a he, but we always had our suspicions on that one ^_~ **dives under bed for cover**)
Personality wise, Xellos is . . . ODD, to say the least. He does so *love* to play his tricks on people, and will do so around every bend. However, besides the silly little pranks, he is also a great manipulator and deceiver. Xellos specializes in mind games, and will gladly play with anyone's head for fun or his own shrouded motives. He also has a nasty streak a mile wide - being a mazoku, he feeds off negative emotions and enjoys greatly pain on both others and himself. HOWEVER, that brings us right back to silly, happy Xellos who's always out to play games and even giggles for the love of Gaav. And as a mazoku of such power he is very confident and loyal to his master.
And we won't even get into "That's a secret".
Xellos also has a few rumors floating about him, a big one being the issue of his past. A lot of people say that he used to at one point be human, then was turned, by some incident or another, into a mazoku. Though I've seen this quite often, I've seen a lot more often that there is no evidence in the novels to support this, and in fact it would probably, by my guess at least, be rather impossible. Mia's opinion is uh-uh. However . . . it does pose for some interesting situations in fan fiction if you're not too concerned about getting all the facts right. =D
