Again, Deep Sea Dolphin's title is Deep Sea and her name Dolphin. Probably obvious, but still. . . . Also, it has not been said yet who or what or whether or not she even has a general and a priest yet.
When she comes in the last novel she is in the forest around Sairaag (QP/Diana translated it as "Forest of Bad Atmosphere". I think it might have been done be Software Sculptors as the Miasma Forest. Not important, just thought I'd ramble). When Lina, Gourry, Milgasia and Memphis (Milgasia is with them at that point in the novels - Memphis is an elf girl who is traveling with Milgasia) gets there she is standing there with Xellas Metallium (though they don't know at this time). Xellas says only Lina and Gourry may go on, and when Milgasia and Memphis protest Dolphin traps the swordsman and the sorceress in another space. Bunch of stuff happens, and when the two get back Milgasia and Memphis tell them who the two were, and how he knew because they were more powerful than Xellos.
She resides in the Demon's Sea, which is the sea to the east of where the Slayers takes place. It's marked on the map they show in Next in the opening credits and you can see it on the globe-thing in the Try opening as well. Anyway, that's where she maintains her part of the barrier from (see Kouma Wars section if you don't know what I'm talking about).
She, as you might have guessed, has water spells that call upon her power. Her two spells are the Dolph-Stlash (yes, Stlash from what I've seen, not Slash), and the Dolph-Zoke. Nahga uses the latter mentioned spell in one of the Slayers Specials to make the water stand up and work as weapons.
I don't think it's confirmed what her mazoku form looks like, but I think it's generally assumed among fans that it would be a dolphin of some type or another (if that's true though can't you just picture Dynast Grausherra of the north tuning into a big snowman? Anyway. . . . .). Her human form however is of a woman looking about in her twenties with long black hair that's done up in two odangos (think Sailor Moon if you have no clue what I'm talking about). She also wears a very pretty, expensive-looking blue dress. (Thank you Megumi for correcting me here - the former picture posted here was actually a popular fanart of Dolphin that is often mistaken for official. I myself had it wrong previously. . . ^.^;;)
As for personality . . . I have no clue. ^_^;; As I said, she's never made a great big grand appearance. In the Slayers Delicious series she complains of the groaning of a Daimos Dragon, and Xellos lies to her and tells her it's the groaning of his master. It's a joking side story, I heard. . . . . Other than that, though, so info is really known about her personality. In a profile of her by Queen Megumi, she describes her as looking rather timid. But by the nature of mazoku (I'll put something about that later) I don't think this would quite fit . . . so who knows, it might just be a front, like Phibrizzo's childishness.
Well, that's all the real info I've able to find on her. Everything down here will be rumors and random speculation, so don't pay me any attention if you want only the facts. =P
The most common rumor about her is that she is insane. Don't ask me how a mazoku goes insane, but . . . anyway, there are two reasons I've seen as to why this happened. The first (and once again, most common) reason is that she and Xellas Metallium hate each other, and Xellas or Xellos did it to her somehow. I don't know. The second would be that Dolphin has the ability to see into the future using her ability to manipulate the water. This might seem a bit more plausible, because as I said Dolphin was able to transport Lina and Gourry to another dimension. Also, she and Xellas didn't seem to be on too bad terms when they met two said heroes forest around Sairaag (or at least I haven't seen anything to imply that). Anyway, my take on this is that it seems rather iffy . . . mazoku don't have real bodies only spirit bodies that exist in the Astral Plane, so that would mean she'd be all chaos-y and stuff . . . does that make any sense at all? ^_^;; I'll have that laws of mazoku thing up soon, so hopefully that'll make this all a trite more coherrent.
The next rumor is, as said, that she and Xellas hate each other. I haven't seen anything that would completely imply this though. . . . .
Final rumor would be that Dolphin once claimed to be the favorite of the Lord of Nightmares. I don't remember where I saw this, but who knows. It could work. I'd try and avoid this one in fanfiction though, if your worried about keeping it "pure". ^_^;;
