To get more images to view in the Digital Viewer, just complete the game on different levels.
More Continue Options
When you get in the options screen, you'll notice that the game takes down the time in which you have played the game. For every 3 hours you have the game on, you'll get an extra continue.
Start with Different Fighters
Are you getting tired of playing that old blue RVR-01? If so, you might want to check these codes out. At the Stage Select screen, hold either Square, Circle, or Triangle on Controller 2 while selecting stages on Controller 1. The type of plane you start out with depends on which button you held. Below is a brief description of each plane:
Hold Triangle: Green Fighter: Has the same speed as the Blue Fighter, but it's significantly weaker than the other planes. You do get 2x the point bonuses, however.
Hold Circle: Red Fighter: Significantly faster and slightly more powerful than the Blue Fighter. However, your CRAWs recharge slower. The best one in the bunch IMHO. You should give this one a try.
Hold Square: Purple Fighter: Very powerful, but very slow. Also, you can only get two CRAWs as opposed to the three the others can obtain. The only one good thing about this plane is that your CRAWs recharge quickly. Unless you're a Thunder Force pro, steer away from this plane.
Note: You'll only be able to play with these until Stage 4, then from there on, you play the RVR-02 "Vambrace". In the Time Attack mode however, you can play them indefinitely.
Free Play
To unlock Free Play, you must beat the game with the good ending on Normal difficulty once. Once you have, go to Options, then Continue and select "Free". With this on, you can play as much as you like.
Master Mode
To unlock Master Mode, beat the game on Hard Mode. This mode is for Thunder Force professionals who can avoid getting hit by the faster bullets and such, so proceed through this mode with caution.
