Precis is a hyperactive teenager who likes to tinker with all kinds of machines. Because of this, the townspeople see her and her father as kooky inventors(and the party see her the same way the first time they see her). When she finds out that they're going to investigate the Sorcery Globe, she can't wait to see what it is, so she persuades Claude and the others into letting her join(Not only that, she also has a huge crush on Claude, which also explains why she wanted to go).
On the battlefield, Precis still retains her cutesy charm. She has better offensive and defensive statistics than most of the female characters in the party, but seeing as though she's still female, she can't take too many hits. She can equip many of the better armor in the game and can take a lick. Out of her and Bowman, she seems to have better range and a slightly stronger attack due to the robotic arm. On the downside of things, her voice can give you a headache and her attacks have a delay in between, giving enemies enough time to either move out of the way or hit her out of it. Otherwise, it's your choice whether you want her or Bowman in your party.
