Method of obtaining: He'll join your party through your trek through the Hoffman Ruins. After getting stranded on Eluria, you'll have the choice of recruiting him permanently. Note: You'll only have the permanent option if you're playing Claude's scenario.
Leon is a kid who thinks he's a big shot, and rightfully so; his parents are top scientists and he has a lot of pull in Lacour. He, along with his parents were developing a secret weapon when the group encounters him, after which he reluctantly agrees to have them join him on the trip to the ruins to find the elusive mineral which is needed for the weapon to work. After losing both his parents to a monster attack, he joins the others in hopes in finding his parents again.
Leon also has some powerful magic and is a good backup to Celine in the attack magic department. Like all magic users, he has paltry attack power and the tendency to die easily if not taken care of. Although his normal attacks are from books, they come out pretty quick, sometimes faster than Clude and is pretty effective on flying enemies 'cause he doesn't have to jump, but like I said, Leon's not a fighter and should have his normal attacks used sparingly or when the enemies aren't too strong.
