Final Fantasy Boss Strategies
Garland
Garland is the guy responsible of kidnapping the Princess of Corneria. He isn't
that tough, though. You should easily dispatch him with a combination of physical
attacks and magic.
Astos
Astos is the king of the Dark Elves and the king of the Northwest Castle in disguise.
When you give the Crown to him, he will doublecross you, thus starting a fight.
Have your White Mage cast Mute on him(this may not work all the time)and you should have
an easier time fighting him. If Astos isn't silenced, protect yourself with Afir because
he cast Fire spells.
Lich
Lich is the Fiend of the Earth responsible for rotting the land. Lich also uses Fire
spells, so cast Afir to minimize fire damage. Attack him with Fire spells and cast
Fast on your strong warriors and he'll be subdued in no time.
Kary
Kary is the Fiend of Fire who rest at the bottom of Gurgu Volcano. The Ice Sword
and Flame Armor is essential in beating her, so equip those on your strongest warrior
and get ready to fight. Kary can land several hits on your warriors, so watch out when
fighting her. She also casts Fire spells, so cast Afir at the beginning of the fight.
Constantly attack her with Ice Spells and hit her with the Ice Sword and she'll be finished.
Kraken
Kraken is the fiend of the Water who resides at the bottom of the Sea Shrine.
He is very tough and can land up to 8 hits at a time.(This will probably mean
certain death for some members of your party)Keep using Lit spells and he'll be
history.
Tiamat
Tiamat is the fiend of Wind, who is at the top of the Sky Castle. In order to
survive against him, use protective spells like Arub and Invz. If you're lucky, you
can defeat him quickly with a Bane spell. Keep in mind this does not work all
the time.
