"SALVATION STREET" {Introduction} Salvation Street is a one hour drama series for television, a kind of Touched by an Angel meets 21 Jump Street. In today�s favorable climate for shows involving faith, this program blends Christian spiritual values and morals with the gritty realism of the modern inner city. Each episode will take on real social problems from the viewpoint of Christian principles, but we won�t �sugar coat� issues. Some storylines unfold over an arc of several episodes, so as to avoid the trap of tying challenging plot points up into neat little bows. The series will combine the realism of NYPD Blue with the inspirational, redemptive value of 7th Heaven. No other show today is expressing the true problems of our cities from such a perspective. We will do it in an informative, educational, entertaining and uplifting way. Salvation Street will be a unique episodic program, sure to appeal to a broad demographic and to fill a vacuum in the present market.
