| A Brief History of Dynamic Balance Media Productions |
| Dynamic Balance Media Productions has been a dream of mine since 1994, when I got my first taste of media. A friend of mine, Zack Antilley, introduced me to the youth group at his church. At the time, they had just gotten their first decent audio system; a Peavey Versamix 16-channel audio board with 2 Peavey SP-2 speakers, a Teac dual-cassette deck and a Pioneer 6-Disc CD player. Zack had some prior experience with audio production and equipment, so he became the de-facto audio chief and I became his assistant. At first, I was scared of running the system on my own... I had no knowledge of feedback, audio equalizing, or any of the other things that go into setting up a live stage system. I learned everything I know now about audio production during that time, and I will forever be indebted to Zack for his patience in explaning everything to me. I started thinkling about what it would be like to do this and get paid. That's when I came up with Dynamic Balance Media Productions. Basically, the name reflects my philosophy towards multimedia production... Art relies on balance to establish the feel; the mood of the piece. When your medium of expression is something like television or radio, that balance keeps changing as time passes. Moods change as the music shifts or the images change. The trick is to adapt in time to keep the audience wanting more. Hence, the Dynamic Balance is maintained. |
