"If By Chance"

If by chance you wonder what�s become of me, wonder what I'm doing or where I may be; take a minute and you'll realize, things didn't have to be this way, and then shove this aside like you did me on many a day.

If by chance you find you miss the many talks we've had, or wish that I could join you for a walk, maybe share a laugh, sit and listen to what you called my subtle shove and you'll be sure to understand why we're not enjoying any of the above.

If by chance you find that you really miss me, or you find yourself wishing that this you and I could now be we, Stop & think of how I begged and pleaded and remember your response to me: "Baby I'm trying," was all at the time that you could offer me.

If by chance you question if I really cared for you, and thought that if I did I wouldn't just fade away without contacting you: Oh, let me remind you of the many nights I cried because it was you that I wanted by my side, and remember how I asked for just a little more, and how each time I asked my requests were shot down from the door.

You see bae, In case you haven't noticed, it wasn't me that faded away, I was right there in your face, but you pushed me away, and it didn't matter what I said ... you just wouldn't hear ... all of my attempts fell on death ears, so now I'm here writing this to you with my eyes full of tears.
