1879		Einstein is born in Ulm, Germany.
1889		Albert sets off on a program of self education, reading as much science as he can. He is 10 years old.
1896		Albert graduates high school at age 17,and enrolls at the ETH (the Federal Polytechnic) in Zurich.
1900		Albert graduates from the ETH.
1905		Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity is born. He also submits his paper, "on the electrodynamics of Moving bodys" to a German physics journal.He applies his theories to mass and energy and formulates the equation e=mc2.
1907		Einstein begins applying the laws of gravity to his Special theory of relativity.
1913		Einstein works on his new Theory of Gravity.
1914		World War I begins.
1915		Einstein completes the General Theory of Relativity. A solar eclipse proves that it works.
1922		Einstein is awarded the Nobel Prize in physics for 1921.
1927		Begins developing the foundation of quantum mechanics with Bohr.
1928		Einstein begins pursing his idea of a unified field theory.
1932		Einstein is at the peak of his fame. He is identified as a Jew in Nazi Germany, and begins to feel the pressure.
1933		Einstein and his wife move to America, and settle in Princeton, New Jersey.
1939		World War II begins. Einstein writes his famous letter to Franklin D.Roosevelt, warning him about the possibility of Germany building an atomic bomb and urging him to conduct more nuclear research.
1955		Einstein dies of heart failure on April 16.
