Hand-Dyed Silk by 4 Hands

While most art is created by one artist, Dyezines is done by two. We are Jennifer Bickel and Kara Corson. Becoming fast friends several years ago, our creative karmas collided. Jen taught me how to tie-dye and we found we are a great team. At age 21, we were hit with devastating news. Jen was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Instead of letting the negative energy suck the life out of her, she let her faith overcome. We took this opportunity to let our thoughts, emotions, and fears overtake us into one gigantic burst of creative and positive energy. The result....beautiful silk, hand-dyed by 4 hands. Every aspect of the process is therapeutic for the mind and body. Creating the silk gives us a chance to express our life experiences and ideas through color and Dyezines.
