The Industrial Revolution is a period of exponential growth in innovation. As you know by now, it is also a period that has unleashed many unintended consequences that have impacted the earth for several hundred years. Do the advantages of the Industrial Revolution over shadow its unintended negative consequences. Please provide powerful examples to support your position.

In my opinion when you think about your life right now, you like the advantages of industrialization. You have more than one pair of clothes with plenty of shirts shorts and pants; because of industrialization we also have things like computers, cars houses, food. Basically everything you have s because of industrialization. Then you look at eh big picture. The fact is we are beginning to run out of recourses, but I and you are lucky enough to live in an era with available recourses. However you begin to think of what your children and your children’s children will have and the fact is probably not a lot. Also you begin to think how we will leave the earth for the future generations as well. The fact is, is that industrialization is ruining our environment. With acid rain, deforestation, and the greenhouse effect. Serious problems are beginning to occur. Also with the limited recourses industrialization this is not good. It causes people in foreign countries to work day in and day out for poor wages. With deforestation and the green house effect occurring it is making it also difficult on animals. Forcing them to find new homes because there home are being cut down, or making them go to a higher elevation because of global warming (green house effect) with that said industrialization although a good thing is much much worse in the big picture, and that’s why I feel there must be a change.

Yeah matt does have a lot of good points. Industrialization has made basically everything around. However not to be a Tree hugger or anything but the simple fact is, is that industrialization at this rate it wont be around for long. It’s messing up the earth and its atmosphere causing things like global warming, which causes the polar ice caps to melt. This makes the water level rise, which means no California and diffidently no MVHS. Also it would mean no coast as we know it. Our west coast would be in what is known as Nevada. IF our coast was in Nevada no one could even survive the beach with it being 115 degrees and also there wouldn’t be any waves it would be as flat as a board because Nevada is as flat as a board. Also this means no slat creek no Dana point either. That is just one, uno, of the effects that occur from industrialization. Although industrialization is pretty good (can’t live without my computer) we got to watch out what were doing to the environment. That is why industrialization is good but if we keep this up these effects it’s not going to be around to long.
