I, Tucker �the negative� Muse am now just nearly a month away with being done with being a squire and finally becoming a knight. Also I�m currently am in Rome If I am able to get this it will bring great happiness to my family. After the last 12 years from when I was young squire to now I have overcome many opsticals. Also I have endured many hardships such as being severely beaten for not doing something right. However in a month I will finally be a knight and be able to fight with my fellow countrymen to bring protection to my land. After all the years it is so close now I can almost feel it.

Today all I have been working for has Finally paid off and as The King touched me on the shoulders with a sword I said, �In the name of god, I dub thee knight. Be valiant.� Confirming that know I am a knight. There are many things I must keep in mind even though I am eager to fight. One thing I always must remember is the code of Chivalry. Also I must remember my skills which I have acquired through the years of training and being a squire. I figure if I remember these and most importantly stay loyal to the king I will become one of the great knights of the time.

Ever since the king has touched my shoulders with the sword a lot has changed for me. For example I�m finally getting the respect I have earned from the other knights in the land. Also just recently my lesser lord rewarded me with a manor. I was extremely grateful because even though I am a knight I wasn�t expected to be rewarded with such a great gift. It is nice because there are about 5 peasant families that make farm the land. In return I must protect them and allow them to farm there own land which I have no problem with at all. As of right now I�m looking for a wife to keep the Muse name alive.

Yesterday I competed in a combat skills tournament and it a lot of fun. I got to fight and show off my skills while I was also put in combat problems. In one of the battles my team had to recapture some hostages. Our plan was to rush and ketch them on the surprise giving us the upper hand and allowing us to take bake our hostages making us winners. Although we followed the rules of chivalry and we were trying to be safe because it was only a battle among friends, but Joey �the misfit� Martinet perished while we were attacking the fort. Although he died it was still a lot of fun.

After all the fun I had in the last tournament The kings and churchmen felt it was just to violent with to many senseless losses a lot of the games that took place in the tournaments have been banned. Now all we are allowed to do is joust which in my opinion is not much fun at all. Also we are only allowed to have a restricted melee combat fight. It is extremely restricted because we can only use swords and shields. We can�t use any axes maces or even our own fists to bring another man down. At least it was fun while it lasted.

I have finally done it! After looking for a good wife who can cook and clean I have finally found the right lady. Her name is Carmen and she is soon to be Carmen muse. I met her about 3 months ago when I was in a tournament. We became quite fond of each other and and so needing a wife I asked her to marry me. Of course she said, �Yes,� so now I will be marrying her at the end of the month.

It has been nearly a half a decade since I wrote in this book last. I finally found it when I was cleaning out my armory. The fact is a lot has changed since then. I had 2 kids and we always party like 1092 for there birthdays. Also there are some people known as crusaders. They have almost reached Rome and I like there ways and am thinking of joining them on there pilgrimage to take back the holy land of Jerusalem.

I decided to go to the holy land and help the Crusaders. Little did I know but the battles were hard fought. If I didn�t have the trading I have I would for surely be a goner. After 6 months of fighting I feel luck to still be alive and therefore I have decided to return home. Mostly it�s because I have a family and I am now over the hype of fighting.

The Crusades were absolutely brutal with very few people coming back. I am plenty happy with my life though. The manor is a great place and now my oldest son Marcus is now old enough to start being a squire for older knights. Currently I don�t plan in going into war cause I am now past my fighting age. I�m just going to protect the families of the manor that I own.

Marcus is six as of today and I have sent him to start training to become a knight a few years early. Although he is young he is a leader. Also he is as tough as nails showing no mercy making him a roll model squire. If he keeps acting this way he will most luckily play a big factor in the battles the he takes part in.

Even though it sounds young I am now 27 and am feeling a bit old. Lots of people usually hit the wall around 35, but since I served I feel I could die in a few short weeks. Hopefully my lord won�t take back the manor, but let my wife run it so her and my other son Legolas will have a protected place where they can live. Although my life was short I feel it was well served and I demonstrated the proper ways of a knight.
