*Journal#1- Recall WWI and the conditions in Russia in 1800s and early 1900s. List possible causes for the Russian Revolution in 1917.

Some of the reasons why the Russian revolution happened was because time were changing but Russia wasn’t. Simply they were staying in a medieval and nonindustrial state of mine. Also they had lost hard in WWI being unequipped with the necessary weapons. Lastly the economy was not good at all and  many people were suffering not being able to contain food.

*Journal Question #2- What problems angered the people of St. Petersburg?

The problem that angered the people at St. Petersburg was that they were tired of the current way and direction the country was headed in. There fore these people rioted to show that they were angry

*Journal #3- Why is it often difficult to establish democracy in a country without a tradition of democratic government?

It is usually hard to change a whole economy entire type of government from democratic to something like communisium. However look at the facts. When your down have no food no money and nothing else to possibly help you. When someone promises you food money and a house of course that will raise your spirits and want you to change to a communist life style
