Journal #3 On the internet, briefly research life inside the trenches: evaluate what type of life these soldiers lived.
Trench life was treacherous. All you would do is dig your trench. It was your home your shelter everything to you. When it rained you would stay in your trench and sit there as the water slowly filled it up water crawling up your body. You would sleep inside your trench. Your trench was your everything. They would use wood supports to keep the shape. All in all it was hard times down there in the trenches.
