6. a. Some expressions that refer to butchery are the excessive using of the hands and talking about hands. They also state that they are going to cut off the "head" of the government. Without Caesar, none of the other members of the government will be able to function.

b. The irony in that is that they set out to kill his spirit, but the only thing that lived on was his spirit.

c. He chooses words to create a feeling of making this act a civilized one. He does this by bring the facts to the table and feeling that it can only be solved by death in order to bring a solution to this problem.

d. Brutus is against killing Antony because he feels that he will not get in the way of the killing Caesar. This is consistent with his earlier imagery because he is setting out to do just what is necessary, he is honorable.
