Mr. Buonarroti was most of the famous artist and sculptor of all time. One of his most famous works of art is when he painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel he did not want to do it at first he ended up painting it anyway. In the end he had had to redo the whole ceiling due to his assistants not painting to his expectation. By 1512 however it was all over and he had painted the Sistine Chapel ceiling with over 300 figures. Also Michelangelo was a great sculptor as well he even sculpted Julius�s tomb. This work was easily one of his finest achievements. Michel put so much detail into this like for example he made Julius�s eyes look off into the distance as in they were looking at god. Also he put horns on Julius head to symbolize rays of light. Michelangelo was one of a few masters of his work. |
