administrative tasks can be done remotely ( through inernet ) with the same
functionality as from the local system console.
The security requirements (against improper internet use) are not more
restrictive and more difficult to implement as in the internet banking case.
Most of the computer systems, LAN switches, WAN routers, SAN/NAS
mass storage systems, Fibrechannel switches (etc.) are prepared by design
for the remote control/adminitration capabilities.
And the networking protocol/technologies such as SSL,VPN provides us
with sufficent level of the security.
