Why a Hack?

Well, I have been using DEU to create Doom 1 & 1/2 : Revenge of the Cyberdemon
and I decided it needed some changes.  So I made them.  Just in case anyone
is wondering...this is the reason DM 3.0 is now almost a month overdue.
